Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

The lucky ringJust as Lin Feng was about to continue trading for the materials needed for upgrades, Qin An’s avatar suddenly flickered.

Qin An: [Lin Feng, where did you get so many pills to trade? Isn’t that too irrational?]

Lin Feng: [Huh? How did you know? I was just about to put them up for sale. Are you a prophet?]

Qin An: [Bah! Don’t you know your name is famous in the chat room now? Many people are waiting to snatch up the pills you’re selling! I happened to see someone discussing you that day, so I looked into it a little.]

Lin Feng: [Oh, I see. Do you need any pill support then?]

Qin An: [............]

Qin An: [Lin Feng, I suggest you conserve them. Pills are too precious. Although I don’t know where you got so many, I advise you not to trade them anymore.]

Lin Feng: [Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing. By the way, if you get sick, remember to come to me for pills.]

Qin An: [Got it. You be careful too.]

......

After exiting the chat, Lin Feng clicked cancel on the pills he was about to put up for sale.

It wasn’t because of Qin An’s advice, but because Lin Feng realized something: scarcity creates value.

As the person with the most pills, he naturally had to control the quantity sold and raise the price. After all, no matter how many pills he had, he couldn’t satisfy billions of people.

As for Qin An’s advice?

If he knew how many pills Lin Feng actually had, he probably wouldn’t have said that.

”Awoo!”

”Don’t touch it!” Lin Feng said, looking at the Little Velociraptor, who was quite interested in the foam box.

”Awoo!?” The Little Velociraptor let out a confused cry, but still obediently retreated. Since it wasn’t allowed to touch this foam box, it would just go play in the water!

The Little Velociraptor happily went to the pool and looked inside.

”Gulp gulp gulp.....”

”Sigh, this guy, could it be going through a rebellious phase? So many little tricks.”

Lin Feng had also noticed that the Little Velociraptor had been getting more and more active lately.

And it was very mischievous. Lin Feng seriously suspected that it was going through its rebellious teenage phase.

”What are you doing?”

Lin Feng pulled the Little Velociraptor’s head out of the water, looked at the pool, and then at the Little Velociraptor.

There was nothing in the pool, just two plump freshwater fish, which made Lin Feng somewhat want to eat them.

”How about we have grilled fish today?”

Lin Feng pondered for a moment, then scooped out the two fish whose names he didn’t know.

”You continue playing.”

”Awoo!” The Little Velociraptor let out a happy cry, then plunged its head back into the puddle, continuing to gurgle.

”Sigh, you rascal.”

Lin Feng shook his head helplessly. Fortunately, the water in the pool automatically refreshed, so it was clean every day.

Let it play if it wants to.

Lin Feng processed the two fish, then simply washed them in the pool.

Only then did he skewer them with a branch and set them up by the fireplace.

About twenty minutes later, the grilled fish emitted a fragrant aroma.

”Mmm~ My cooking is really good.”

Lin Feng took a bite and found the taste excellent, not at all inferior to what Mike grilled. This was only with some salt; if he added some chili and pepper, it would definitely be even tastier.

As a qualified food-loving Velociraptor, the Little Velociraptor naturally wouldn’t miss any meal. What’s more, every time Lin Feng cooked, it would come over to freeload.

Lin Feng had already saved some of the grilled fish for the Little Velociraptor: two large fish heads.

Definitely good for the brain!

The Little Velociraptor was not picky at all. It gnawed on the two fish heads, wagging its tail, and ate them clean bite by bite.

Eating only these things was naturally not enough.

Lin Feng found some leftover raw meat and threw it to it.

After eating about five more catties of meat, the Little Velociraptor was finally full.

Now he didn’t lack food for himself, but the Little Velociraptor didn’t have much to eat.

Only half of the goat meat was left.

”I hope the next floor gives me a floor with lots of animals.”

Lin Feng casually threw the branches used for grilling fish into the fireplace as he spoke.

As he said this, the lucky ring on his finger suddenly flashed, but Lin Feng did not notice this subtle change.

Full and satisfied, time to continue exercising!

According to his personal panel, exercise was indeed very useful.

His previous level was certainly below the average level of a normal person, but through exercise and Body Strengthening Pills, he had increased his stats by several points.

Seeing Lin Feng doing some strange movements again, the Little Velociraptor didn’t continue to bother him, instead lying obediently by the edge of the pool.

It seemed to have made the area next to the pool its den.

After exercising for a while, Lin Feng went to sleep.

The next day.

Lin Feng was still sound asleep when the system suddenly prompted him.

”Ding! The floor the host is about to enter is a grassland floor. The danger level of this floor is relatively low for the host, so there is no need to worry. There are various wild animals on this floor, as well as a tribe of indigenous people. Note: The indigenous people are hostile to all outsiders who enter the grassland.”

”Wow! It’s actually a floor with lots of animals? My luck is too good!”

Lin Feng subconsciously looked at the lucky ring he was wearing.

Could it really be the lucky ring’s doing?

He’d find a chance to test it.

As for the indigenous people, they probably didn’t have much combat power. If he encountered them, he would just kill them.

[Ding dong! Elevator descending, please hold on tight.]

As the announcement ended, the Elevator began to descend rapidly. A moment later, it stopped.

Lin Feng double-checked the weapons he was carrying, then walked out.

After leaving the Elevator, a rush of hot air immediately enveloped him.

The significant temperature difference between inside and outside the Elevator made Lin Feng involuntarily sneeze.

Not far from Lin Feng, there was indeed a herd of wild oxen drinking water.

”Holy cow, so many oxen, I’m rich!!”

”Little Velociraptor, sneak over. Once I fire, you jump out and grab as many as you can!”

”Awoo!!”

The Little Velociraptor immediately nodded, then crouched down, hiding its body in the tall grass.

As the Little Velociraptor cautiously crept forward, it suddenly noticed something in front of it.

A scrawny lion was prostrating itself in the grass, its eyes fixed on the herd of oxen drinking water. It was looking for weak individuals within the herd, but the calves and old oxen were protected by the strong adult wild oxen.

It was not easy to ambush, which was why this lion had waited until now.

However, its attention was entirely on the herd of oxen, and it didn’t even notice that a Velociraptor countless times more terrifying than itself was behind it.

”Roar!”

With a low growl from the Little Velociraptor, its sharp teeth instantly hooked into the lion’s flesh.

The lion heard the sound and tried to turn and resist, but with a slight squeeze of the Little Velociraptor’s mouth, the lion’s windpipe ruptured.

It quickly lost the ability to resist and became a corpse.
