Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Normandy? Hell difficulty!?Yesterday, after Lin Feng posted the trade message, many people who remembered him quickly clicked on it.

So, Lin Feng’s gains last night were quite good.

He traded some canned goods and bread that he was tired of eating for four hundred kilograms of iron, one hundred kilograms of copper, and ten kilograms of gold.

Ever since Lin Feng started acquiring copper last time, some people guessed that copper might be a resource needed for future upgrades, so they collected it when they saw it.

Now, he only needs aluminum and gold coins for the upgrade.

If nothing unexpected happens, he should be able to gather everything today.

After taking out all the items, Lin Feng stuffed them into the material stacking area in one go.

Soon, the system’s notification sound rang out.

“Beep, the floor the host is about to enter is the War Floor. The host needs to survive for one day on this floor. The host will play the role of a squad leader leading Soldier in combat. After the floor ends, rewards will be settled based on the number of kills. This floor is very dangerous! And entry cannot be refused. Please be aware, host.”

“Beep! Legendary quest triggered. Please kill over five hundred people, host. Reward: Eagle Eye ability.”

“Wait, War Floor? What is that??”

Lin Feng suddenly felt inexplicably nervous; this floor actually required him to survive for a day.

It was clear that this was definitely not an ordinary battlefield.

“Ding-dong! The Elevator is descending. Please hold on tight.”

Buzz...

The Elevator began to descend rapidly, and it slowly came to a stop after a full minute.

“Ding-dong, Seekers are requested to survive on this floor for 24 hours. Upon completion, generous rewards will be received.”

After the Elevator’s brief announcement was completed, its doors opened. Little Velociraptor seemed to sense the unease, continuously barking at Lin Feng.

However, Lin Feng did not plan to take it in. On a battlefield, taking Little Velociraptor would probably not serve any purpose. It would be better to let it stay in the Elevator. Anyway, the pool refreshes food and water every day, so Lin Feng was not worried about it starving.

This time, Lin Feng could not see the scene outside the Elevator; everything was enveloped in a white light.

Lin Feng had originally wanted to bring his equipment in, but upon approaching the white light curtain, all his equipment fell off, and it seemed as if a force was compelling him to step into the light curtain.

In the end, only the lucky ring on his finger and the clothes he was wearing accompanied Lin Feng out of the Elevator.

After stepping out of the Elevator, Lin Feng slowly opened his eyes, which had been tightly shut due to the dazzling white light.

“Boom!!”

“Boom!!!”

The sounds of explosions, ringing in his ears, mixed with noisy shouts, made Lin Feng feel dizzy for a moment.

“Squad leader, squad leader!”

Just then, a Soldier in a dark green military uniform kept shaking Lin Feng.

Lin Feng did not know what language he was speaking, but strangely, Lin Feng could understand it.

“What happened?”

“Squad leader, our bunker was just bombed by naval artillery, and you were knocked out!”

The Soldier quickly said, and after helping Lin Feng to a nearby chair, he left with his gun.

“Bolt-action rifle? What the heck??”

Lin Feng was even more bewildered.

It was then that he realized the Soldier’s uniform earlier looked somewhat like a Third Reich Soldier’s uniform.

Then he looked at himself: a dark officer’s uniform, black leather boots...

And naval artillery was just mentioned...

Holy crap! This floor couldn’t be the Third Reich’s battlefield in Europe, could it??

Lin Feng shook his constantly buzzing head. He finally understood why the system said it was extremely dangerous here.

On such a battlefield, the mortality rate was very high. However, it was still unclear what kind of battlefield this was. If it was in the early to mid-stages, then his chances of completing the mission were relatively high.

After taking a deep breath, Lin Feng slowly stood up from the chair. His gun was placed in the corner. Possessing Intermediate Gun Proficiency, Lin Feng recognized the weapon at a glance.

G43 semi-automatic rifle.

After picking up the gun, Lin Feng walked out of his exclusive resting room.

Outside the resting room were three Soldier operating machine guns. Upon seeing Lin Feng, they all called out, “Squad leader.”

Lin Feng was still unclear about the situation, so he could only nod, then looked outside.

A scorched earth, along with destroyed anti-tank obstacles and barbed wire.

Not far below, Lin Feng could see the ocean and warships continuously bombarding the area.

Buzz!!

“Take cover!”

The Soldier who had just greeted Lin Feng quickly pulled Lin Feng down into a crouch. The next moment, a violent explosion rang out. Fortunately, this fortress was very sturdy and suffered no significant damage.

“Cough, cough, cough....”

“I was a bit dazed from the explosion just now. Where is this again?”

Lin Feng asked, grabbing the Soldier in front of him.

“Report, this is Normandy. The Allied Forces are attempting to cross the English Channel and land here. We are ordered to block the Allied Forces’ army here!”

Normandy...

Damn it! It’s Normandy!!

Lin Feng was instantly dumbfounded. It was already the late stages of World War II, and the Third Reich was at its last gasp.

How the hell was he supposed to survive this?

Hell difficulty?

Fortunately, Lin Feng only had to survive for one day in this cursed place. Being a bit cautious should not be a problem.

“Squad leader, would you like a cigarette? You seem to be in a bad state.”

“Thank you.”

After taking the cigarette, Lin Feng habitually reached for his lighter to light it, but only pulled out a box of matches.

“Hmm, much more relaxed.”

Although Lin Feng found the taste of the cigarette a bit strong, it did indeed relax him a lot.

He then learned through further understanding that the Allied Forces’ attack had just been repelled, and they were now using artillery bombardment to try and clear out all the bunkers and fortresses.

And the squad Lin Feng led was responsible for garrisoning this bunker.

There were ten of them in total, and after a week of fighting, not a single one had died, and they had even repelled over a dozen Allied attacks.

Their mood could be said to be very relaxed now, because the fortress here was so sturdy that naval guns of several hundred millimeters couldn’t shatter it. Their daily task was simply to operate the fixed heavy machine guns and pull the trigger.

After Lin Feng learned about the current situation, he relaxed even more. It seemed the advantage was on his side.

He returned to his resting room and rummaged through his personal belongings, only to find that he actually had special supply cigars, chewing gum, and instant coffee.

Was the treatment for a mere squad leader this luxurious?

“Speaking of which, it’s my first time smoking a cigar.”

Lin Feng took out a cigar, looked at it, then bit off the cap directly, lit it, and began to smoke.

“Damn it, this is strong...”

Lin Feng took a few puffs and instantly lost interest. He walked out, patted the Soldier he had been chatting with, and handed it to him.

“It’s for you.”
