Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Death Game 1After observing the chat room for a while, Lin Feng pressed the upgrade button for the Elevator.

With a jolt, the Elevator ascended to Level 5.

“Ding! Congratulations, Host, for completing the mission. Rewards have been distributed.”

[Overtime Card: Can extend the Elevator’s closing time on this floor by 1 hour.]

“Ding! Please, Host, complete the upgrade mission to raise the Elevator to Level 6. Reward: One upgrade opportunity for a super large cowhide backpack.”

The upgrade progress was still 77% short, needing 10 gold coins, 200 kilograms of wood, and 232 kilograms of iron.

The Level 5 Elevator’s ventilation port was larger, its range more than doubled, and it also gained a workbench.

This workbench wasn’t like those in games where you dump raw materials and magically get what you want.

This workbench only provided some tools; you still had to operate them yourself.

What was even more frustrating was that these tools couldn’t be taken away.

They could only be used at the workbench.

Lin Feng fiddled with it for a moment and immediately lost interest. His crafting skills seemed to be stuck at elementary school handicraft class.

Asking him to craft a great sword or a repeating crossbow with these tools was pure nonsense.

Just then, Ye Hua successfully refined the salt.

Ye Hua: [Big Brother, the salt you wanted has been successfully refined. I’ve listed it on the Exchange for food.]

Lin Feng: [Understood, good.]

Lin Feng clicked on Ye Hua’s avatar and found the trade information he had posted.

Any food for Exchange, huh?

Not bad.

This kid wasn’t greedy.

Lin Feng went to the pool, where a plump grass carp, seemingly at least two catties, swam.

“I’ll give him this.”

Lin Feng scooped up the fish and traded it to Ye Hua.

The salt traded over wasn’t much, as Lin Feng hadn’t provided him with much seawater either.

This amount of salt should be enough for Lin Feng for a day or two.

Besides being salty, it had a somewhat bitter taste, but Lin Feng was already very satisfied. After so many days in this world, he finally tasted his first flavorful roasted meat.

Looking at the roasted meat sprinkled with salt in front of him, Lin Feng wiped his drool and began to feast.

The Little Velociraptor beside him also didn’t know why “Mommy” was eating so deliciously today, but it also loved to eat!

After eating and exercising for a while, Lin Feng rested.

Soon, it was the middle of the night, and the system’s notification sound arrived as scheduled.

“Ding! The floor the Host is about to enter is ’Death Game.’ The Host needs to complete three games with other Seekers for this floor to end. Entry to this floor is mandatory. After completing three Death Games, a reward of 20 gold coins and 500 kilograms of any upgrade material will be given.”

“Ding! This floor’s hint: Seekers participating in the Death Game will definitely know how to play this game. During the Death Game, Seekers are not allowed to kill each other through means outside the game.

Hidden mechanism: Seekers who fail the game can gain a chance to re-enter the game by committing suicide before death, 3 times per person.”

Death Game?

Is it similar to the Hide-and-Seek floor last time?

Lin Feng wondered, but he now knew one piece of information: there would definitely be many Seekers on the next floor. This meant he was about to get rich again!

Perhaps he could even directly raise the Elevator to Level 6!

[Ding-dong! Elevator descending, please hold on tight.]

Soon, the Elevator’s announcement came. Lin Feng took a deep breath and, after the Elevator stopped, walked out.

As soon as he stepped onto the floor, the Elevator’s announcement came again from the top of the floor.

[Welcome to Death Billiards.]

[Each ball represents a part of your body. Pot a billiard ball, and you will be judged to lose it. The winner is the one who pots the black ball last.]

[After the game ends, the winner will not have the potted organs deducted. The loser will have all potted organs deducted.]

[Game Start!]

.........

After the broadcast ended, a nervous young woman appeared in front of Lin Feng.

“Hello, shall we start the game?”

“H-hello, big brother. I, I’m not very good at playing....”

Lin Feng looked at the nervous young woman in front of him but didn’t relax his guard, because he felt it was all an act.

The system had previously hinted that those who could enter the game floor would know how to play all the Death Games on that floor.

Lin Feng had once participated in the city’s Billiards Club and was the second-ranked player there, so he was quite skilled.

This young woman in front of him was definitely not as simple as she seemed on the surface. He would start by observing her break shot to see her true skill.

“Ladies first, how about you break?”

Lin Feng smiled slightly, then stepped back.

The billiard balls were already set up, but instead of numbers, they had human organs like eyes, nose, heart, kidney, stomach, brain, and so on.

“How about you break, big brother? I, I’m afraid I won’t break well, I don’t have much strength...... Oh, by the way, big brother, my name is An Qingqing, what’s yours?”

“Hehe, my name is Gu Chen. You should still break. Breaking first has an advantage, you know.”

Lin Feng gave a fake name, then pretended to be captivated by An Qingqing.

He also slowly moved his steps forward, and just as he was about to reach out to touch her face, An Qingqing dodged him.

“Okay, then I’ll break!”

An Qingqing rolled up her sleeves, revealing a section of her fair, jade-like forearm. Lin Feng naturally played along with her act.

Wasn’t she doing this to seduce him? Sure enough, An Qingqing was looking at him out of the corner of her eye.

She smiled triumphantly in her heart, another man taken down by her beauty.

“Big brother, don’t look at me anymore, I’m a little nervous~”

“Alright, alright, I won’t look at you. Go ahead and break.”

Lin Feng sneered inwardly, then played with his cue. He had just observed An Qingqing’s grip. She must have played before, but her skill was probably very poor, otherwise, she wouldn’t be acting like a ’green tea’ girl.

Lin Feng used to have another identity at the Billiards Club: a part-time coach. So, he immediately saw through An Qingqing’s disguise.

Bang!

A crisp sound echoed, and two balls went into the pockets: Lin Feng’s eye and her ear.

“Oh! I’m sorry, Gu Chen big brother, I didn’t mean to. I should have known not to use so much force. I was just afraid of not breaking them apart, so I used a little more force. I’m sorry, I’m sorry....”

An Qingqing looked at Lin Feng with a face full of self-reproach and tearful eyes.

It had to be said, her acting was really good.

“It’s okay. After all, the balls potted on the break are random. It’s not your fault.”

Lin Feng said indifferently.

“Okay, big brother...”

An Qingqing bent down again and looked. She couldn’t pot any of these balls’ positions.

So she casually took a shot, and naturally, no balls went in. However, Lin Feng, being an astute observer, immediately saw that An Qingqing was setting up ’hole balls’.

After a few more rounds, An Qingqing’s balls would probably all be in good positions, and by then, he wouldn’t be able to win even if he wanted to.
