Temperature drop“Lin, you go plant the bomb!”

With that, the man named Old Cui threw a remote sticky bomb to Lin Feng.

The vault door in this small town wasn’t very sturdy. After placing three sticky bombs, Old Cui signaled Lin Feng to retreat.

Boom!

“Oh! Shit!”

“Okay, if you don’t want that greasy middle-aged man outside to be shot into a sieve, then hurry up and act.”

Saying that, Old Cui took out a travel bag and began to raid the vault for cash.

Besides tens of millions in cash, there was also a stack of gold bars in the gold vault. Lin Feng saw this and, while Old Cui wasn’t paying attention, put them all into his cowhide backpack.

It was a good thing he brought the cowhide backpack; otherwise, he really wouldn’t have known how to carry a hundred catties of gold.

Lin Feng didn’t know if he had a talent for this, or what was going on.

He was actually faster at packing money than Old Cui, that old hand.

In a short while, the two had filled four large travel bags with cash.

“We can go.”

“Retreat, retreat, retreat!”

After throwing out the travel bags, Lin Feng shouted.

Damn it, it was too exciting. His first time robbing a bank, and now Lin Feng felt more energetic than ever before.

Just as the man in the suit predicted, the cops didn’t come, and only then did Lin Feng realize that he could understand what they were saying!

These people were speaking English the whole time, and he didn’t know how he understood it, and he could even speak it now.

Woo~~

“The damned FIB is here, Lin, catch this, and smash their heads in!”

Saying that, the man in the suit in the passenger seat threw Lin Feng a Big Pineapple.

“Holy crap!!”

Lin Feng immediately became energized, directly smashing the rear windshield and sweeping his gun at the cops following behind.

Although his accuracy was a bit poor, under such firepower, Lin Feng still completed the system’s mission.

He got 5 headshots.

But the bad news was that the helicopter also arrived. Helpless, Little Fu could only drive the car into the sewer.

“I’ve already placed motorcycles here in advance. We’ll split up and meet at the textile factory.”

After the man in the suit finished speaking, he was the first to ride away on a motorcycle.

After everyone had left, the Elevator suddenly appeared in the sewer.

At this point, there were only more than 10 minutes left on the countdown. Even if Lin Feng wanted to do something, it was too late, so he could only return to the Elevator.

As the Elevator door slowly closed, this exciting journey finally came to an end.

Although there was a risk of losing his life at any moment, Lin Feng wasn’t afraid at all, and was even still in an excited state.

“Ding, congratulations to the Host for completing the mission. The reward has been issued.”

Soon, the knowledge of basic firearm proficiency appeared in Lin Feng’s mind.

Although it was only basic, it was still very different from being a complete novice.

For example, Lin Feng didn’t recognize the shotgun in his hand before, but now he recognized it at a glance as an MP133.

And he could also disassemble, assemble, maintain, and perform simple repairs on firearms.

Finally, Lin Feng felt that his marksmanship had also improved a lot, but there was no way to verify it yet.

When he went to the next floor, he could try out his marksmanship.

Afterward, Lin Feng maintained several guns one by one.

.......

“Awoo!”

“I know, I know.”

Lin Feng stood up and found a piece of dinosaur meat from his cowhide backpack.

“Tsk, I wonder what this dinosaur meat tastes like.”

There were still about 40 kilograms of dinosaur meat in the backpack, which was enough for the Little Velociraptor to eat for more than ten days.

Seeing the Little Velociraptor eat so happily, to be honest, Lin Feng also wanted to try it.

It had been so long since he sold some to the person who could make crossbows, and he was fine, so this dinosaur meat should not be poisonous.

Thinking of this, Lin Feng cut off a large piece of steak and put it into the induction cooker to cook.

Nearly two hours later, Lin Feng poked the steak with a knife.

“This… should be cooked, right?”

Lin Feng, somewhat unsure, cut off a small piece and put it into his mouth.

“Hmm! It’s cooked!”

The taste was not bad, very tender, somewhat like the texture of bullfrog.

It was just a pity there were few seasonings. If it were made spicy, it would be incredibly satisfying.

After eating and drinking his fill, Lin Feng looked at the infinite pool again. There were no surprises refreshed in it today.

“Alright, time to sleep.”

Lin Feng stroked the Velociraptor’s head, then fell into a deep sleep.

Just as most Seekers had completed the floor and were resting, the temperature in the Elevator suddenly changed drastically, dropping from the initial 20-odd degrees to less than ten degrees in an instant.

Many people were directly woken up by the cold, and Lin Feng was no exception.

Not long after the temperature dropped, he felt as if he had instantly gone from summer to winter.

He opened the chat room only to find that it wasn’t just him; the temperature in everyone’s Elevator had dropped to near zero degrees.

Lin Feng, wearing only a shirt, quickly moved the induction cooker to his bedside, added water, and immediately turned it to maximum heat.

This could also provide him with some warmth. The blanket he had obtained earlier also came in handy; Lin Feng wrapped himself up tightly, inside and out.

“Awoo!!”

“I almost forgot about you.”

Lin Feng looked at the trembling Velociraptor and picked it up.

The Little Velociraptor could now reach Lin Feng’s thigh when standing.

Soon, under the effect of the induction cooker, the temperature in the Elevator warmed up a bit, and Lin Feng also put down the blanket.

The others, however, were unlucky.

Except for those who lived in cold regions all year round, most others were basically wearing short sleeves or shirts.

Now, they were suffering immensely.

At the same time, warming supplies were listed at high prices on the Exchange.

Even a single blanket for warmth was listed for the price of one gold coin.

【Damn it, I can’t take it anymore, I’m going to start a fire!】

【Upstairs, do you not want to live?!】

【The level three Elevator has unlocked ventilation, so starting a fire isn’t entirely impossible.】

【Exactly, if you’re not afraid of suffocating, you can try.】

【By the way, do you guys feel like the temperature is still dropping? After I woke up, the water in my bottle started to form ice shards.】

【Don’t joke around, if the temperature drops any further, it really won’t be a place for humans to live.】

【The temperature really is dropping. I got a thermometer on one of the floors. The temperature in the Elevator is 2 degrees now; it was 6 degrees not long ago.】

【Bro, don’t say anymore, I’m really scared. I came in wearing big shorts and a short-sleeved shirt, and now I’m almost dead.】

.....

Everyone in the chat room was discussing the sudden drop in temperature, and Lin Feng also felt the temperature seemed even lower.

An hour later, the temperature in the Elevator warmed up, and Lin Feng also breathed a sigh of relief. With this induction cooker, he didn’t need to worry about sudden temperature drops anymore.
