Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Prehistoric world!Perhaps it was a habit, but this time Lin Feng woke up before the system prompted him.

“Ding, the floor the host is about to enter is Jurassic World. Please proceed with caution, host. After leaving the Elevator, walk 50 meters to the right, and you will find a dragon’s nest unguarded by dinosaurs. You can obtain a dinosaur egg that is about to hatch (after successful hatching, the little dragon will recognize you as its master), as well as a large amount of food and natural resources. A reminder again, please act within your capabilities, host!”

The system reminded him twice to proceed with caution, which meant that this Jurassic World must be extremely dangerous.

Thinking about it, with his current strength, fighting those giant dinosaurs was indeed a bit ridiculous.

If the pistol were replaced with an assault rifle, Lin Feng might try, but with just a pistol, he was afraid that even if all the bullets were used, he wouldn’t be able to kill a single dinosaur!

In Lin Feng’s impression, dinosaurs were like monsters, requiring Ultraman to be called into action.

After half an hour of internal struggle, Lin Feng decided to go in and see. If it really didn’t work, he would retreat to the Elevator. He truly didn’t believe he would just die as soon as he entered.

“Ding dong! Elevator descending, please hold on tight.”

As the broadcast sound came, Lin Feng became nervous again. He also put on his cowhide backpack and held his pistol in his hand.

After the Elevator doors opened, deafening roars entered Lin Feng’s ears. The world before him was exactly like the Jurassic World in the movies: towering trees, prehistoric creatures everywhere, and pterosaurs soaring in the sky looking for prey...

Just as Lin Feng was immersed in this magnificent landscape, he suddenly realized something.

This floor...

It was terrifyingly large!

If everywhere the eye could see was accessible, then this floor would probably be tens of thousands of hectares in size.

However, just from the deafening dinosaur sounds nearby, Lin Feng knew that he absolutely couldn’t run around recklessly, or he might not even know how he died.

“50 meters to the right after leaving the Elevator, it’s not far. Damn it! I’ll risk it!”

Lin Feng hardened his heart and walked out of the Elevator, his only safe place.

His goal was only one: to obtain the dinosaur egg!

The system said that the dragon hatched from this egg would most likely recognize him as its master, so he definitely had to get it. It had to be said, this plan was a bit daring.

But if successful, Lin Feng would become the most powerful among all Seekers.

“Fifty meters, fifty meters, fifty meters...”

Lin Feng muttered as he cautiously looked around.

Fortunately, no prehistoric creatures noticed his tiny human presence.

Just then, a rustling sound came from the berry bushes ahead. Lin Feng immediately raised his pistol and stared tensely at the berry bushes, while slowly moving backward, ready to run at any moment.

A moment later, an animal that looked like both a bird and a chicken hopped out of the berry bushes.

“Is this... a Dodo??”

“Quack! Quack!”

The Dodo, upon seeing Lin Feng, not only didn’t run away but charged at him aggressively, looking as if it intended to beat Lin Feng up.

Bang!

Bang!

After two shots, the Dodo was hit and died.

“What the heck? It really is a dumbass.”

Lin Feng mumbled, then put the Dodo into his backpack. It was quite heavy, probably around ten pounds.

He also put the entire berry bush into his cowhide backpack. As long as it could be stuffed in, it could be stored.

After walking a bit further, Lin Feng finally saw the legendary dragon’s nest.

Under the large rock in front of him, there were two small dinosaurs that had just hatched, and a perfectly intact dinosaur egg, which was about the size of Lin Feng’s head.

Around the dragon’s nest were many animal carcasses, though most were small animals. The most common was the Dodo that Lin Feng had just killed.

There were also some scraps of meat bitten off from unknown sources.

“Small carnivorous dinosaurs, huh?”

There was indeed no large dragon guarding the nest, but those two small dragons looked like trouble.

Upon seeing Lin Feng, this unfamiliar creature, enter their territory, the two small dinosaurs immediately adopted a fighting stance, continuously hissing to intimidate Lin Feng.

Lin Feng, in order to steal the egg, didn’t indulge them. After emptying the remaining bullets in his magazine, he quickly ran over and put all the intact Dodo carcasses and dinosaur carcasses into his cowhide backpack.

He collected the Dodo carcasses mainly to feed the little dinosaur inside the egg.

And he could also roast some dinosaur meat on other floors to try, though he wasn’t sure if it was edible.

“Roar!!”

“Holy crap! It’s over! The parents are here!!”

Lin Feng was startled when he heard a roar very close to him. He quickly put the dinosaur egg into his cowhide backpack and ran backward without looking back.

It was only 50 meters! He just needed a few seconds!

“Roar!!!”

The pursuing Velociraptor, seeing its babies killed, roared in grief and anger at Lin Feng, the strange creature.

“Oh my god, isn’t that a Velociraptor?”

Lin Feng’s pupils constricted in fear as he watched the Velociraptor run faster than a cheetah.

At this rate, he would be caught very soon. No, he had to fight back!

Lin Feng instantly stopped, then emptied his magazine. He no longer hoped for accuracy; as long as he could hit a few shots and slow down the Velociraptor, he could escape alive!

“Roar!”

Only 4 of the 13 bullets hit, but those four happened to strike the Velociraptor’s reliant hind legs.

The Velociraptor let out a painful hiss, then fell to the ground with a thud.

Clearly, the pain in its hind legs prevented it from running normally, and Lin Feng ultimately made it back to the Elevator alive.

Back in the Elevator, Lin Feng leaned against the wall, panting heavily. When he touched his back, he realized it was drenched in cold sweat.

It had been truly dangerous just now.

Thankfully, he had his pistol.

Although the Elevator still had twenty minutes before closing, Lin Feng was not going to go out again.

After taking out the dragon egg and placing it on his bed, Lin Feng loaded the last magazine into his pistol.

Just then, heavy footsteps approached.

The Velociraptor from earlier was actually limping over.

Due to its leg injury, its running speed was not fast, but it still tracked Lin Feng by his escape direction.

Fortunately, Lin Feng was now in the Elevator, and the Velociraptor couldn’t find him.

Watching the Velociraptor constantly hissing, Lin Feng felt a pang of guilt.

After all, he had killed two of its children and stolen the last one. He would be furious if it happened to him.

Just then, a pterosaur suddenly flew down from the sky and snatched the injured Velociraptor away.

This was the cruel prehistoric world.

Watching the pterosaur gradually disappear from his sight, he looked at the dragon egg with complex emotions.
