Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

What is a time management master! No one had bought the venomous snake Lin Feng had listed on the Exchange yet, but he wasn’t anxious. He believed that even without fire, someone would choose to eat it raw.

At this point, Lin Feng was still short 12 kilograms of wood and 98 kilograms of iron to upgrade.

Lin Feng swallowed, looking at the sandwich chocolate tightly clutched in his hand.

He was already feeling a bit hungry.

Dismantling tables in the classroom earlier had consumed a lot of his stamina, and he hadn’t eaten anything for a long time since then.

”Let’s drink some water first.”

Lin Feng chugged several mouthfuls of mineral water, and his stomach finally felt something.

At this moment, the Elevator door also closed automatically.

...............

The next day, Lin Feng was awakened by hunger, accompanied by an urge to urinate that felt like his bladder was about to burst.

”Damn it, I wish I hadn’t drunk those few sips of water yesterday.”

Lin Feng was anxious, he couldn’t possibly just urinate in the Elevator, he was still going to live here.

Fortunately, it was currently 10 AM, only two hours away from 12 PM.

”Ding, there are 5 weakling zombies on the floor the Host is about to enter. If you have a weapon, you can try to kill them. There is a food supply box in the center of the floor. Upon opening it, you will receive three bottles of clean water, two cans of beef stew, and one special antibiotic (can cure most common illnesses). One of the zombies has a usable lighter in its pocket.”

”Ding! A selection quest has been triggered. Please make your choice, Host.”

[Option One: Enter the floor and kill 5 zombies. Reward: One P229 handgun and 3 spare magazines.]

[Option Two: Hide in the Elevator and do not enter the floor. Reward: One sharp fruit knife.]

Lin Feng took a deep breath. He didn’t expect there to be a selection quest. Option One was definitely the best, but could he really defeat five zombies?

Lin Feng looked at the sharp machete in his hand.

”To hell with it! The bold thrive, the timid starve. I’m going for it! Option One!”

Lin Feng cheered himself on, then quietly waited for 12 PM to arrive.

That food supply box was very important to him, not to mention the quest reward from the system—a handgun. He believed it would be invincible at this stage, right?

”One left front kick, one right side kick, then two hacks!”

Lin Feng said, while warming up.

[Ding dong! Elevator descending. Please hold on tight!]

As the Elevator announcement sounded, Lin Feng’s heart pounded rapidly.

It was false to say he wasn’t nervous; after all, he had never fought in his life, and now he had to face 5 bloodthirsty zombies.

”What if I don’t go out?”

A voice echoed in Lin Feng’s mind, but he quickly dismissed it.

He had already bound with the system, was he going to continue being a coward??

”Let’s do this!”

After the sensation of weightlessness disappeared, Lin Feng pressed the open button.

”Where are the zombies?”

Lin Feng looked at the empty room in front of him, puzzled.

Could it be that this floor had more than one room?

Lin Feng continued to walk forward. The smell in the air was also unpleasant. Soon, he saw a deformed iron door.

Gulp....

Lin Feng swallowed, then reached out and pushed open the iron door.

”Roar!!!!”

As soon as the door opened, a zombie rushed over.

”Holy crap!”

Lin Feng was startled, and his hand instinctively swung forward. With a squelch, the knife in Lin Feng’s hand had already struck the zombie’s head.

Black blood slowly flowed down the machete onto Lin Feng’s hand.

”This, this simple?”

Lin Feng looked at the zombie he had already killed, still somewhat disbelieving.

However, the other four zombies wouldn’t give Lin Feng such an easy chance. They roared and rushed towards Lin Feng.

Can’t fight them, absolutely can’t fight them!

Lin Feng immediately ran back to the Elevator. After the four zombies entered the iron door, they foolishly stood still, as if they truly couldn’t see the Elevator’s existence.

”Hmm?”

Lin Feng’s eyes darted around. He suddenly had a good idea.

Lin Feng stepped one leg out of the Elevator.

The zombies were instantly attracted.

”Roar!”

When Lin Feng put his leg back into the Elevator, the zombies stopped again.

”Heh heh! Is this a bug?”

Then Lin Feng began his top-tier aggro management.

In and out, in and out, in and out, in and out, in and out.....

Finally! After a few minutes, all four zombies stood neatly at the Elevator entrance. Now, Lin Feng only needed to extend his arm slightly to headshot these zombies.

Bang!

One zombie was immediately decapitated, and the other three instantly roared. Just as they were about to bite Lin Feng’s arm, he pulled it back.

”Roar!”

”Shut your sister!”

Bang!

Another zombie was decapitated.

The remaining two zombies were also headshotted by Lin Feng using this trick. This machete was truly amazing; it remained incredibly sharp even after decapitating five heads.

If this were outside, it could definitely get into a ten-yuan store.

”Ding, Host has completed the quest. Rewards are being issued.....”

After the system finished speaking, a small P229 handgun and three magazines appeared in Lin Feng’s hand. Lin Feng counted; each magazine had 13 bullets. The gun didn’t even come with a magazine of its own; it was simply too inconsiderate!

There was still half an hour left. Lin Feng quickly ran to the center of the floor and found the food supply box.

”It’s still iron?”

Lin Feng’s heart lit up. He immediately hugged the box and ran back to the Elevator, then searched the bodies of the few zombies. He had to admit, the smell was indeed somewhat disgusting, but for survival, he could only do this.

The lighter would definitely be useful. If he ever obtained any raw food in the future, Lin Feng could roast it over a fire on the floor. As for rubbing sticks together like that big brother, Lin Feng was sorry, but he couldn’t do it.

”Finally found it, and it’s even windproof!”

Lin Feng put the lighter in his pocket, then a terrifying urge to urinate struck him!

Earlier, his adrenaline had surged, and the urge to urinate had completely disappeared. Now that he had calmed down, Lin Feng almost couldn’t hold it in.

”I can’t take it anymore!”

Lin Feng looked at the time, still ten minutes left, and breathed a sigh of relief. He then quickly found a corner and took care of business.

.........

Comfortable~

Just as Lin Feng was about to return to the Elevator, he suddenly remembered that the door also seemed to be made of iron! No, he couldn’t waste it!

To level up quickly, Lin Feng decisively picked up the machete and walked towards the iron door.

Bang bang bang!

Bang bang bang!

Fortunately, this iron door was not very sturdy to begin with. After a few swings with the machete at the rusty connections, Lin Feng successfully detached the iron door.

At this moment, the Elevator door was still one minute away from closing.

”Heh heh, this is what you call a master of time management!”

Lin Feng wiped the zombie blood from his hands, saying smugly.

However, it would be best to clean the zombie blood quickly, in case he accidentally got infected, that would be awkward.
