After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2124: Chapter 2128: Where Did You Find It?

Xu Xia and Xiao Jie were taken to different rooms.

Xu Xia entered one of the rooms, besides the staff who escorted her, there was also a white middle-aged man sitting inside, dressed in airport security uniform. Her luggage was opened and placed on the table, the clothes inside appeared very disorganized. A small bag was placed on the table next to it, containing some tablet-like items.

”What exactly is wrong with my passport?” Xu Xia asked.

”There is nothing wrong with your passport, but... we now suspect you are carrying illegal drugs out of the country,” the middle-aged man extended his finger, picked up the small plastic bag on the table, and waved it at her.

”That’s not mine at all, where did you find it?”

This time, she packed the luggage herself; the large luggage had already been checked in by Lan Zi and the others. This small suitcase contained only two sets of clothes, some cosmetics, and her laptop along with other potentially needed items. How could there be any illegal drugs?

”Of course, in your suitcase.” The middle-aged man sneered.

”That’s impossible, you must have made a mistake.” Xu Xia stood up, speaking urgently, ”My flight is about to take off, please let me pass the security immediately, I must leave here today.”

”Made a mistake?” The middle-aged man leaned against the chair back, ”We have already notified the police, you can explain it to them then!”

”I want to make a phone call.” Xu Xia said, and was about to reach into her pocket for her phone.

The middle-aged man waved his hand lightly, and a staff member immediately snatched her phone away.

”You... on what grounds?” Xu Xia’s face showed displeasure, ”Those things are not mine, you are framing me...”

Two staff rushed over and forcibly pushed her back into the chair.

The middle-aged man stood up with a sinister smile and walked over to her.

”Miss Xu, please explain slowly at the police station.”

The door was pushed open, several police officers walked in. Xu Xia got up trying to explain, but the staff firmly held her down, not giving her a chance to get up. The middle-aged man whispered a few words to the officers, handed over the bag of tablets to them, and they looked at Xu Xia, the one who seemed to be the inspector gently waved his hand.

The officer collected Xu Xia’s luggage, walked over to grab Xu Xia’s arm, and dragged her out of the security room.

”Where is Xiao Jie, my partner?”

Xu Xia asked urgently.

No one paid attention to her question, either they didn’t understand, or they deliberately ignored it.

Soon, she was dragged out and stuffed into the police car parked outside.

A moment later, Xiao Jie was also stuffed into the police car, and compared to Xu Xia, Xiao Jie was a lot more miserable; there were obvious scars on his face.

”Xiao Jie?!” Xu Xia looked at his bleeding face with a frown, ”Did they hit you?”

”Those bastards, one day I will kill them all, they insist I was carrying drugs, damn it... I have never touched those things,” Xiao Jie cursed in Chinese.

Leng Zimo had his principles, although he was involved in shady business, it never included drugs or despicable acts like human trafficking.

He required the same for his subordinates, absolutely forbidding them from touching those things.

”Shut up!” One male officer escorting the two suddenly raised his hand and knocked Xiao Jie to the ground, further pointing a gun at his temple, ”Yellow-skinned pig, be honest...”

Although Xu Xia couldn’t understand Italian, she could sense from his tone that it was definitely not anything good. Worried about Xiao Jie, in her anxiousness, she raised her leg and delivered a kick right to the officer’s face.
