After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2111: Chapter 2115: It Hurts...

She doesn’t even want to mention that person’s name now, just the thought of what he did to her makes her feel nauseated.

Xiao Jie watched her silhouette in the bathroom, slowly clenching his fingers.

”ROY!”

Although Xu Xia did not respond, her reaction was already proof that everything was indeed ROY’s doing.

He must kill him!

...

...

On the island.

In the dining room, Luo Xiaoqian sat by the table, looking at the exquisite breakfast the maid placed before her, and her mood naturally brightened.

Picking up the utensils, she immediately began to eat with relish.

All the signs from last night had already made Luo Xiaoqian more certain about her speculation regarding the chef’s identity.

”You seem to be in a good mood?” Luo Ke sat across from her, watching Luo Xiaoqian eat with a smile, slightly lifting his lips.

”Of course, is there something delicious!” Luo Xiaoqian replied with a smile.

Seeing her smiling face, Luo Ke’s mood also improved a bit, and he immediately picked up his coffee cup and started having breakfast.

Since the incident with the pepper and mustard last time, Luo Ke no longer insisted on having the same meal as Luo Xiaoqian, and continued eating western breakfast.

The two cooks were only worried about Leng Zimo not having enough time, so to allow them to have breakfast together, Luo Ke’s breakfast was handled by two cooks.

Leng Zimo was, of course, happy to be leisurely; he had no interest in serving Luo Ke, only focused on looking after his Luo Xiaoqian.

At the long dining table, the two sat at each end, one eating dumplings and drinking lean meat porridge, the other having bread and coffee, as if in two separate worlds.

”There’s not much work today, why don’t we go out to sea together?” Luo Ke suggested.

”I... don’t really want to go.” Luo Xiaoqian was disinterested.

She was not used to being alone with Luo Ke, particularly disliked being close to him, naturally unwilling to go to sea with him.

”Why?” Luo Ke’s tone carried a bit of disappointment.

He had worked overtime and made time to accompany her, yet she was unappreciative?

Luo Xiaoqian lowered her face, ”I’m worried about getting seasick.”

”Then... how about we go fishing at the pier, or swimming?” Luo Ke offered another suggestion.

Swimming?!

Her and him?!

Wearing only thin swimsuits?!

Just the thought made Luo Xiaoqian feel odd, ”Let’s go fishing then!”

The other party proposed three suggestions, if she didn’t choose any, perhaps Luo Ke might become suspicious. She didn’t want the situation to develop that way; if that were the case, her plans to escape would only become more difficult.

”Okay.”

Seeing her agree to go fishing with him, Luo Ke was satisfied, and immediately instructed the butler to prepare the necessary gear for them.

Slowly finishing her meal, Luo Xiaoqian thought of Leng Zimo just one wall away; she had already eaten enough, but still lifted her bowl and ordered the maid, ”Please serve me another half bowl of porridge!”

Without seeing him, at least she could eat the food he made; this counts as contact, right?

Thinking this, a strange feeling rose in her heart, very warm, very sweet.

After finishing the half bowl of porridge, Luo Xiaoqian finally got up, reluctantly going to the pier to fish with Luo Ke.

As Luo Ke prepared things, he tried his best to chat with her, while Luo Xiaoqian gave him half-hearted responses, her eyes occasionally sneaking a glance towards the villa, hoping to catch a glimpse of Leng Zimo.

She was originally threading the bait onto the hook but got distracted; the hook bent and pierced her finger.

”Ow, it hurts...” She instinctively exclaimed.
