After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2112: Chapter 2116: Are You Trying to Reel Me In?

”Sissi?” Hearing Luo Xiaoqian’s voice, Luo Ke quickly put down his fishing rod and got up to walk towards her, ”What’s wrong?”

Seeing her holding her finger, he raised his hand to grab her wrist, and immediately saw the wound on her fingertip, a half-centimeter-long cut, at this moment oozing fresh blood. The red blood contrasted starkly with her alabaster finger.

Luo Ke frowned and immediately took out a handkerchief from his pocket to wrap her hand.

”Quick, bring the first aid kit.”

The subordinate standing on the nearby pier heard the voice and immediately turned around and ran towards the villa.

”I can do it myself!”

Luo Xiaoqian tried to pull her finger out of Luo Ke’s hand, but he held her tightly, and she couldn’t pull it out at all.

”I told you, no need to be polite with me.” Luo Ke looked up from her finger and gazed at her tenderly, ”I like taking care of you.”

His life had been more about plundering and conquering, but this time, he seemed to genuinely enjoy this feeling.

Looking at the faint flames flickering in his dark green eyes, Luo Xiaoqian merely looked down at her finger.

She didn’t really know what Luo Ke had done, but honestly, this man wasn’t too bad to her, it’s just that she didn’t have that kind of feeling for him at all.

The subordinate quickly brought out the first aid kit. Luo Ke picked up a cotton swab, carefully cleaned her wound, then took out an adhesive bandage and cautiously wrapped her finger, guiding her to sit down on a cool chair. Luo Ke picked up her fish hook, helped her thread the bait, and then handed it back to her.

”Now... we can start!”

The nearby subordinate was completely dumbfounded.

In his impression, Luo Ke had always been the one to be taken care of, never the one to take care of others like this.

Luo Xiaoqian thanked him and raised her hand to throw the hook, but the hook went out and directly caught on Luo Ke’s shirt. She was startled and tugged on the rod, realizing something was wrong, she turned to see Luo Ke’s shirt being hooked by her. She froze, then burst out laughing.

Luo Ke looked at her bright and vivid smile and also laughed.

”Are you trying to reel me in?”

”No, no, I’m really sorry, I... didn’t mean to.”

Luo Xiaoqian quickly stood up, wanting to take the hook off his shirt.

She stood right in front of him, her porcelain-like face shimmering in the sun, almost translucent, her lips bare of any lipstick, pale pink like cherry blossoms, with a hint of a smile lingering on the corners.

Luo Ke, looking at Luo Xiaoqian standing so close, couldn’t hold back. He lifted his hand to cradle her face, leaning down to kiss her.

Luo Xiaoqian had just grasped the hook, about to take it off him, but as she felt him come closer, she turned her face aside, dodging his kiss and hand.

With the kiss dodged, Luo Ke watched her trying to leave, and suddenly reached out his arm, pulling her into his embrace, then domineeringly moved in to kiss her.

Luo Xiaoqian, seeing his face magnified before her, suddenly raised her hand and pushed him away.

Luo Ke, caught off guard, stumbled back uncontrollably, tripped over the toolbox, and landed heavily on the ground.

The hook still hanging on him pulled the fishing rod, and the rod fell with a sharp clatter.

The bodyguard standing not far away had been laughing at first, but seeing this unfold, quickly stepped back a few steps, lowered his face, focused on his nose, and then on his mind.

”Why?”

Luo Ke frowned and shouted angrily.
