After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2105: Chapter 2109: I’ve Fallen in Love with Her

The car quickly drove away from the hotel entrance. Xiao Jie glanced at Xu Xia beside him, pressed his lips, and then asked cautiously.

”Miss Xu, should we go to the photography studio, or return to the hotel first?”

”Hotel.”

Xu Xia uttered the word softly.

Earlier, in front of Lei Qingqing, she held her ground despite losing face; now, with only Xiao Jie and the others around, her mood sank once again.

”Okay.” Xiao Jie nodded gently, ”We’ll head back to the hotel first.”

In the café diagonally across from the hotel, Leng Zirui lazily stirred the coffee in his cup with a spoon. He didn’t let go until he saw Xu Xia and the others’ car leave. Then he took out his phone from his pocket and dialed Ah Jiu’s number.

”It’s ROY.”

”Mr. Leng, do you have any instructions?”

”No matter what method you use, get Xu Xia out of Rome as soon as possible, the sooner the better... also, keep a close eye on her. Don’t let her get into any trouble.”

Although Leng Zirui thought that Xu Xia’s character wouldn’t lead her to do something as foolish as suicide, he still felt uneasy.

”Understood.”

”Any news from Dr. Yin?”

”There’s no news so far. The police haven’t made any progress either.”

”Alright.”

Hanging up the phone, Leng Zirui picked up the cup and drank the coffee in one gulp.

The coffee was completely cold, without a trace of sugar or milk, tasting distinctly bitter. Thinking of Xu Xia’s current state, Leng Zirui felt a deep pang of distress.

To ensure the smooth progress of the mission, he had no choice. Once he confirmed she was back in Beijing, he would tell her the truth!

For now, she could only endure the pain for a few days.

Ah Ke pushed open the café door, walked in, and sat down beside him.

”How did it go?”

”Nothing much, except that Lei Qingqing got slapped by Xu Xia.” Ah Ke smiled, ”ROY, your little wildcat sure has sharp claws.”

Leng Zirui raised the corners of his lips, ”I think I’ve already fallen for her.”

He was smiling on the outside, but inside, he grew increasingly worried.

This stubborn girl, in the end, couldn’t hold back, and Lei Qingqing, having taken her hit, wouldn’t let it go easily?

Ah Ke wasn’t surprised to hear him say this. He understood ROY well; falling in love was an easy thing for him, especially since a little wildcat like Xu Xia fit ROY’s tastes perfectly.

That’s because ROY used to be a man who loved the hunt. He enjoyed capturing and conquering, but once the opposite party was truly conquered, he would lose interest.

”Last night, how was it? The little wildcat quite wild, huh?” Ah Ke narrowed his blue eyes slightly, showing a distinct longing, ”Her long legs are indeed tempting...”

Leng Zirui glanced sideways at him, feeling the coldness in his gaze, causing a shiver down Ah Ke’s spine.

”Don’t get any ideas about her. She’s mine!”

How dare he comment on his woman? Does he have a death wish?!

”I... I was just joking.” Ah Ke quickly managed to wipe a smile on his face.

He had done such things many times before; every time ROY settled on a woman, they’d discuss it.

It seems this time, ROY truly cared about this woman?

Ah Ke secretly pursed his lips.

Lately, what’s been happening to these men? First, Luo Ke invested so much effort over someone named SISSI, and now even ROY got infected?

Love?

Love is bullshit!

Amid his scoffing, Ah Ke unconsciously thought of a face.

It was a young face, about sixteen or seventeen years old, reminiscent of his first love.
