After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2109: Chapter 2113: Ninety Million

This time, the other party’s offer was incredibly high, but their demands of Xu Xia were quite low. This is why the contract was signed so smoothly. Li Qinglin had no idea about the intricacies involved; he simply signed the contract out of consideration for the company’s profit.

”Ninety million?!” Lan Zi’s expression also changed, ”Just to be an image spokesperson, and they’re willing to pay thirty million?”

”Yes, and all they ask is for Xu Xia to take some photos and shoot a promotional video. I estimated it would take at most two or three days to complete, so...” Li Qinglin’s tone had a hint of helplessness, ”Why is President Leng asking you to return to Beijing? Is there something special?”

Objectively speaking, Li Qinglin wasn’t wrong.

Such an easy job, such high remuneration, and the other party is a big enterprise Xu Xia has worked with before—it’s all normal business behavior.

The current status of Xu Xia is almost an annual endorsement of more than ten million. The offering of thirty million for two years isn’t an unreasonable price.

Before Lan Zi could say more, Li Qinglin had already received a notification from his subordinates that Las had already transferred half of the payment to EM’s account.

Lei Qingqing is a person who operates decisively. She had already decided last night to let Xu Xia deal with ROY for her. For them, even fifteen million, let alone thirty million, was merely pocket change. If Luo Ke’s businesses and industries were secured, they would be deals worth tens of billions—that little money meant nothing!

”They’ve already transferred a third of the initial payment.” Li Qinglin spoke with frustration.

If the other party hadn’t paid, there would still be room for negotiation. Now they have even paid the money; if they breach the contract, they’ll have to pay damages.

”This...” Lan Zi started to waver. If it was only the initial work, the loss would be at most a few million. Now, they could be compensating nearly a billion for the contract; how could she dare make the call? ”Let me discuss with Xu Xia before I give you a reply.”

She hung up the phone with a heavy heart, and both Xiao Jie and Xu Xia’s gazes landed on her.

They had heard bits and pieces while she was on the phone, realizing something significant was happening.

Lan Zi pressed her lips, ”The company has already signed a contract with Las for you to be their image spokesperson, thirty million for two years; if we breach the contract, we’ll have to pay three times the penalty.”

Xiao Jie immediately panicked, ”Isn’t that ninety million?”

Nearly a billion—that’s definitely not a small amount.

”Yes, so...” Lan Zi frowned, looking at Xu Xia, ”Xiao Xia, President Leng is not here now, so this matter should be decided by you.”

At EM, Xu Xia is considered a top-tier artist. Her management isn’t just something Lan Zi, the agent, can decide. With the current situation, Lan Zi dared not make any conclusion.

Ninety million—ninety million!

At this moment, Xu Xia’s expression was very calm.

Last night at the hotel, Lei Qingqing had mentioned the endorsement to her. She initially thought it was out of appreciation for her. Now it seems that Lei Qingqing had already prepared everything long ago—this entire situation was a scheme designed to trap her.

She couldn’t understand why Lei Qingqing was targeting her in this way.

Could this be ROY’s tactic?
