Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 548: Chapter 294: Learned to Behave

”Huh? Second brother, you want to take advantage of the situation?” Ruby Sheldon covered her mouth with a smile, her eyes sparkling like stars, ”Then why is the man she likes marrying another woman? Is she not good enough?”

”...Uh, it’s not that she’s not good enough, it’s that her family background is not as good as that woman’s.” Ryan Sheldon sighed and patted Ruby Sheldon’s head, ”Betty, you wouldn’t understand, because you’d never have such worries. Any man who’s fond of our Betty will never leave her for such an absurd reason.”

”And no one has a better family background than ours.” Ryan Sheldon said with a cheeky grin.

”Second brother, why are we talking about me now?” Ruby Sheldon blushed, ”I don’t have a man I’m interested in. However, if you want to stand up for that poor girl, I think you could take her to that man’s wedding. Think about it, no matter how good the other woman’s family is, can it be better than ours?”

”Exactly!” Ryan Sheldon sat up straight all of a sudden and said happily, ”You’re right! How did I not think of that!”

He jumped up in excitement and went to ask the Sheldon family’s butler, ”...Is the wedding invitation from the Spencer Family still here? Have you declined it yet?”

The Sheldon Family had many butlers, but Ryan Sheldon asked the one specifically responsible for social etiquette between the elite families.

The butler quickly said, ”Not yet declined. In situations like this, Mr. Sheldon has to make the final decision. Mr. Sheldon has been busy and hasn’t been home recently, hasn’t had the chance to decide yet.”

”That’s great, I’ll attend on behalf of the Sheldon Family.” Ryan Sheldon said excitedly, ”Hurry, give me the invitation!”

”...But, shouldn’t you ask Mr. Sheldon?” The butler hesitated, ”Or ask Mrs. Sheldon?”

”I’ll ask my mom!” Ryan Sheldon grabbed the invitation from the butler and ran to Autumn Stetford’s room and knocked on the door.

Autumn Stetford, upon learning about the situation, waved her hand, ”Alright, I agree. You can represent our Sheldon Family. Your father never attends such events.”

Autumn Stetford had a decent relationship with the Spencer Family because Cameron Spencer’s second wife, Ava Harlow, was her cousin.

But this time, Ava Harlow specifically asked her not to attend personally, not wanting to give Summer Spencer too much face.

Autumn Stetford was just considering finding someone to represent the Sheldon Family casually.

Ryan Sheldon’s status was just right, so since he volunteered, Autumn Stetford agreed.

Ryan Sheldon, holding the invitation, immediately went to find Miss Three Billion.

...

Miss Three Billion sat in her office holding a cup of coffee, staring at a wedding invitation in a daze.

Blake Leaf sure had guts, going all out by even sending her a wedding invitation.

Miss Three Billion initially didn’t want to go, not wanting to see that scoundrel’s face again.

But she was not reconciled.

As a master of green tea tactics, she had been tripped up so badly by this man that she had to regain her ground somehow, or this would truly become a thorn, forever piercing her chest.

Just as she was hesitating, someone called her.

Miss Three Billion looked at her phone and saw it was Ryan Sheldon.

This guy was not an ordinary person.

Miss Three Billion narrowed her eyes, swiped her phone to pick up the call, and said with a smile, ”Mr. Second Sheldon, what’s the matter?”

Ryan Sheldon felt his heart pounding like a little rabbit was jumping around just hearing Miss Three Billion speak.

Clutching his chest, he said, ”I’m in your company’s parking lot. I want to ask you if you want to be my date to the Spencer Family for Blake Leaf and Summer Spencer’s wedding?”
