Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 505: Chapter 273: The Triumphant Meeting of Two Leading Men (Second Update)

Cameron Spencer took Brooke Osborne and her entire family back to the Southern Region from the Capital City, as if they had never been there.

By the time Summer Spencer heard the news, they had already returned for several days.

No one thought about the real reason Cameron Spencer went to the Capital City; everyone assumed it was for Brooke Osborne to visit Kenneth Osborne.

Summer Spencer mentioned this when she called her mother, Hazel Winchester.

”Mom, Dad is really attentive to that Brooke Osborne now. He even specifically took her entire family to the Capital City so they could reunite with Brooke Osborne’s brother.”

Hazel Winchester, who was now living with Ruby Rayner in the Spencer Family’s ancestral temple, had gradually adapted to it.

She said lightly, ”A new official has three fires to set, and even more so for a young woman who gave him a son. He still has to do the surface work. But don’t dream thinking your dad is softhearted and sentimental.”

”How could I?” Summer Spencer said awkwardly, ”Would I not know that?”

Her mother, Hazel Winchester, had almost been driven to death by her father for a small mistake and even now could only hide in the ancestral temple for safety.

”As long as you know,” Hazel Winchester sighed, ”I can’t help you much. Be careful with everything yourself, and don’t be reckless anymore.”

”Got it.” Summer Spencer told her a few more words before hanging up the phone.

...

Spring Spencer learned about this from Blake Leaf.

Blake Leaf had not been in close contact with her recently, and she hadn’t reached out to him either.

He couldn’t help but call her to ask her out for a movie.

Spring Spencer wasn’t actually interested in movies, but Blake Leaf was so enthusiastic that she couldn’t refuse and went along.

Before entering the cinema, Blake Leaf told her, ”Your dad recently brought his new wife, youngest son, and the new wife’s parents to the Capital City to see our President Osborne.”

Spring Spencer was taken aback, ”Your President Osborne? Kenneth Osborne?”

”Yes, indeed. Who would’ve thought, Spencer Senior, at his age, is still quite the charmer with women,” Blake Leaf squinted and smiled, ”Having a son makes a difference after all...”

”That’s his only son, how could he not care?” Spring Spencer was indifferent, walking side by side with Blake Leaf towards the cinema ahead.

This was a famous cinema in the Capital City, often hosting premiere events.

Spring Spencer wasn’t interested in entertainment celebrities, but Blake Leaf knew them inside out.

So when she saw the crowded entrance and the queue winding several times on the cinema square, she asked in surprise, ”... Is today’s movie that good?”

”I don’t know if it’s good or not, but I know it features big stars. Ah, and a newly rising star, what’s their name again?” Blake Leaf checked the invitation in his hand.

Spring Spencer glanced and was a bit surprised, ”... There’s even a premiere? Where did you get the premiere invitation?”

”Summer gave it to me.” Blake Leaf acted familiarly, ”Too bad she can’t come today, so I invited you.”

Spring Spencer felt a wave of nausea.

But she didn’t show it and just smiled faintly, ”Really, been very busy lately?”

”Extremely busy.” Blake Leaf sighed, ”She has to manage the operation of an entire film company alone, manage so many people, and so much money passes through her hands. She’s undoubtedly a powerful woman.”

”Yes, Summer is just a bit hot-tempered, but she’s capable. If she could get rid of her rash demeanor, the future would be limitless.” Spring Spencer tried to praise objectively.

Blake Leaf agreed with enthusiasm, ”I think she’s amazing too! Spring, you’re actually even more amazing than her. Why give up the Spencer Family’s inheritance? Besides, you’re Spencer Senior’s biological daughter. It’s only right for you to have inheritance rights.”

Spring Spencer frowned, changing the topic, ”Who are those people coming over there? They seem quite important?”

Blake Leaf looked up and saw that all the top stars were shoved aside as a limousine silently drove up.

The popular car gleamed under the night lights of the cinema entrance.

Many reporters glanced at the license plate and immediately abandoned the celebrities, directors, and agents, and flocked to take pictures of the car.

”Who is this? Such a big spectacle...” Blake Leaf was even more curious, pulling Spring Spencer forward to see who was in the car.

Spring Spencer didn’t like squeezing into crowds either, but her hand was tightly held by Blake Leaf, and she couldn’t break free for the moment.

She had no choice but to cover her nose with her other hand, stumbling forward as she was dragged along.
