Chapter 1297: Chapter 555: The Curtain Falls on the Warlord (Part 3)

”Damn!” Mathew Bade could feel the pure power of the Unbreakable Lake Light purifying his body. The vampire kicked Laine away, then reversed and pulled the cavalry lance out of his own chest.

Laine stumbled backward and was forced to kneel on the ground, clutching his chest with one hand and gripping the Goddess of Revenge with the other to support himself from falling.

”So strong! Is this the power of a Holy Sanctuary powerhouse turned vampire? Ugh~” Laine gasped heavily, his blood flowing from his chest and soaking his armor: ”Apart from His Highness the Green Knight, I’m afraid no one in this country can resist.”

”Damn it! This bit of divine power, this bit of divine power...can’t stop me!” Mathew Bade was screaming incessantly as he struggled against the purification from the Unbreakable Lake Light. He pulled out the cavalry lance and resisted the Lake Fairy’s power of purification with the power of blood.

If Laine could attack again at this moment, adding the power of the Goddess of Revenge, he might still have a chance of victory, but he couldn’t do it now; his body was invaded by toxins which he had to disperse, just as Mathew Bade had to dispel the Lake Fairy’s power of purification.

Wait...toxin? Suddenly, Laine thought of something.

The champion duel was still ongoing. Mathew Bade took more than ten seconds to break free from the Lake Fairy’s divine power, and the vampire’s power recovered quickly. He roared and charged towards Laine: ”This is your curtain call performance, Divine Chosen Champion of the Bitch!”

A blood-red shadow rushed towards Laine at lightning speed.

At this time, Laine had not expelled the toxins, and the Viper immediately came before Laine, raising the Viper Sword high, ready to deliver the final blow to Laine!

”Hah!” Laine raised the Goddess of Revenge to block. He seemed to have reached his limit, and amidst his imperfect movements, much of the blood flowing from his chest was flung outward with the motion of his hand.

This blood landed on Mathew Bade’s face.

The fresh smell of blood sparked Mathew Bade’s appetite; the vampire had exhausted much power in the battle and urgently needed a blood replenishment. Smelling the scent of blood, the newborn vampire instinctively stuck out his tongue, licking the edge of his lips, swallowing Laine’s blood.

Ah, very fresh, very delicious...

The next second, Mathew Bade’s eyes widened; he dropped his sword and clutched his throat with both hands: ”What?! What is this???”

”Drinking my blood?” Laine loudly mocked Mathew Bade’s foolishness. Now, several silver lines started appearing on the vampire’s neck and gradually spread across his entire body: ”Tasty? Want to drink a little more?”

”Ugh! Ugh ugh ugh!” Mathew Bade desperately clutched his throat, retreating madly, vomiting repeatedly. Black blood of the damned and yellow-green bile sprayed from his mouth: ”You, what are you really...”

”I am a pure human!” At this moment, Laine had expelled the toxins, bearing the pain to stand up, his lips curling into a sinister smile.

”You...” The young vampire frantically shook his head, suddenly realizing that Laine’s blood contained something, something condensed from pure Subspace Spiritual Energy, a primal power of purification. Now, this power of purification was surpassing his body’s defenses, rampaging within him, destroying everything.

”Ahhhh!” Mathew Bade screamed in agony, rolling on the ground, trying to resist this force.

”It’s over, Viper.” Laine gasped, raising the Goddess of Revenge to aim at the target: ”Bring your ambition, your schemes, your absurd ideals, and your persistence, and disappear from this world!”

”Uhh uhh!” Mathew Bade’s eyes widened; he suddenly shouted loudly: ”The Lake Fairy’s true...”

”Die!” Laine didn’t give him a chance to finish, and the Goddess of Revenge came crashing down.

Black blood splattered.

Three seconds later, a stumbling, unsteady Laine stubbornly stood from the banks of the Sannes River, raising the head in his hand high, roaring with anger.

”In the name of the Lady! Viper Matthew Bard of Musillon has been beheaded!!!”
