Warhammer Divine Throne

Chapter 1258: Chapter 540: Revealing the Truth_3

”Inheritance of heritage?” Laine finally voiced his surprise, and the Lake Fairy’s Divine Chosen Champion immediately realized a possibility: ”Could it be!?”

Mathew Bade’s original family crest, his incredibly handsome face, and his hatred for this country.

”That’s right, this is what I wanted to tell you.” Har Harris nodded heavily, the expression on the vampire’s face indescribably complex, containing hatred, intrigue, and a touch of inexplicable excitement: ”Mathew Bade is the illegitimate child of Lorne and a peasant maid!”

”The child was born in the Duke of Connet’s Family’s vacation villa, born to Lorne and a laundry maid named Aganay. But as the child grew, Lorne’s father, Louis the Righteous, discovered the illegitimate child. He ordered Lorne to cast this bastard out of the villa. Lorne and Louis had a fierce argument, with both sides accusing each other. Louis believed that Lorne failed to handle himself properly, disgracing the teachings of the Lady, while Lorne vehemently opposed abandoning the child.”

”In the end, Louis, then the Duke, won. The child was abandoned in the wilderness. After the child was taken away, the maid died of illness in sorrow and melancholy just two years later, cursing Lorne’s faithlessness until her last breath.”

”The Witch Demon King Akhan, who witnessed everything, adopted the child and named him Mathew Bade.” Har Harris sneered: ”This is a key part of Akhan’s plan to overthrow Brittania. Now I’ve told you everything, Lord Laine. Do you trust my sincerity? The evidence that Mathew Bade is Lorne’s illegitimate child is ironclad and undeniable.”

”Damn it! I want to expel Lorne from church membership!” Mogiana exclaimed in unparalleled anger after listening, unable to imagine that as one of the champions of the Lake Fairy, Lorne would create such a monstrous child who not only threatened to overthrow the Knight Kingdom but also nearly had Mogiana sacrificed to Nagash!

”Go on, Mr. Har Harris!” Laine gestured for Mogiana to calm down, his demeanor slightly changing: ”Please continue, Mr. Har Harris. What else do you know?”

”Landuin’s Cavalry Lance, the Unbreakable Lake Light, is placed in Landuin’s tomb.” Har Harris’s expression gradually became serious and frenzied: ”Your time is running out.”

”We must prevent the Great Demon of Tzeentch from obtaining it!”

......I am the dividing line of a loving father and dutiful son......

After sealing this Vampire Baron, and coming out of the tent, Mogiana was still furious, feeling the cold night wind, she said to Laine: ”How much truth do you think this vampire told?”

”Most of it.” Laine nodded: ”At least most of it is true because it aligns with our speculations and various indications, and the rest doesn’t matter anymore. The current focus is that we must prevent Chaos from obtaining the twelve Holy Artifacts!”

”We have no troops to deploy now.” Mogiana also felt very anxious about this: ”Francois and Bohemond’s reinforcements are on their way, but the north has been severely damaged and is almost impossible to mobilize, Paragon and Kakasong both need to guard their borders, and the Imperial Army is too far, they can’t make it.”

”No, there is still a reinforcement.” Laine suddenly shook his head, his blue eyes swirling with Spiritual Energy: ”In this country, we still have an army that can help us...”

Just as Mogiana was about to ask what reinforcements there were, the young Flame Sun Knight Juan came running from afar: ”Lord Laine! Her Highness Mogiana!”

”Count Kaled and the Imperial Army have reached the banks of the Grismore River and are preparing to cross the river to join us!”
