Chapter 1262: Chapter 542: Landuin Tomb Grand Battle (Part 1)

”Hahaha, I like what you said.” Bohemond laughed loudly and slapped Laine on the shoulder with enough force to kill a bull: ”Yes, life is a painful choice. Many times we can only choose one path among many. Of course, if I could, I would want to say one thing.”

”I want them all!” Laine smiled and extended his right hand, clenching it into a fist.

The group of people laughed together.

”I want them all?” heard their conversation, and his expression turned somewhat bleak. If he could, he wished he hadn’t become a Holy Grail Knight. He had lost too much along the way.

Parents, brothers, lovers, mentors, and sister, now he is alone. Although he now boasts honors and fame throughout the kingdom, he often reminisces about the beautiful old days, that happiness slipping through his fingers.

Calard vowed that every pain he endured would make him stronger, and his rage would burn upon the heads of the Goddess’s enemies!

Wherever the army passed, all the villages, including the Vampire castles, were left in ruins. All they could see was a wasteland.

Just fifteen kilometers from Landuin’s Tomb, the scouts reported that Tzeentch’s Demon Army was slowly approaching. The Blood Dragon Bloodline Vampire Lord there refused to surrender to Chaos, and a fierce attack and defense battle ensued.

The outcome was simple. Even the strongest castle couldn’t withstand the Chaos Demon Army’s assault. The flames spewing from the Tzeentch Fire Demons and the Tzeentch Fiery War Chariots melted the castle. The Vampire Lord’s desperate resistance cost the Tzeentch Demon Army dearly, but in the end, it just added a new medal to the Fate Weaver’s accolades. The Undead were burned into blackened charcoal, and the castle melted before the Witchcraft Flames. Tzeentch’s Demon Army didn’t expend much effort to capture this castle. The Vampire Lord was killed, and his soul was utterly destroyed by the Fate Weaver.

”Almost there.” Carlos, the Fate Weaver, spread his wings, feeling the infinite power flowing through him. Nothing could stop the Chaos Demon Army—not the living, the dead, nor anything else.

The trenches and moats of the Undead Castle were filled with Dead Bones. The melted ruins made it impossible for even those with the best eyesight to distinguish its past contours. When Carlos, the Fate Weaver, raised his head to look into the distance, he spotted Brittania’s grand army.

”Interesting.” Carlos opened his beak and let out a sharp cry: ”The resistance of mortals is merely futile. Now, let’s destroy this country and everything we see!”

Like an ocean, the Tzeentch Demons appeared in strange forms, from a blurry Fear Demon to Screamers, Tzeentch Fire Demons, Deceitful Spirits, Tzeentch Secretaries, and then Tzeentch Demon Mages, all letting out mad cries.

The Fate Weaver looked proudly at his legion. He possessed the most powerful army under Tzeentch. With the acquisition of the four Holy Artifacts, the connection between the Chaos Domain and the Prime Material World grew more stable. Under the intense Wind of Chaos, more Tzeentch Demons had already arrived in the Mortal World.

Without giving the Knightly Army a chance to complete their formation, amidst the last praise for Saint Tzeentch, the encounter battle began!

The left wing of the Knightly Army was composed of the Knights of Winford Duchy. The soldiers under Francois immediately prepared for battle. The father-in-law tightly gripped the Unicorn Sword, knowing this would be a tough fight.

The right wing of the Knightly Army consisted of the knights from Duke Boldro and Bastogne Duchy. Bohemond wielded a Giant Wolf Fang Club, often using this weapon to fight against Beastmen from the Arden Forest.

The central army was composed of the allied forces of Laine and Calard, the Imperial Army, and the Dwarf Army of the Angland Clan.

Nearly before the Order Alliance Army could steady themselves, the war erupted. Like a tide, the Tzeentch Demon Army charged at the Knightly Army.

”For the Lady! For Brittania!”

”For Grimnir! For Grimnir!”

”For Charlemagne! For the Empire! For Carl Franz! For the Lady!”

”For Kunos and Isa! For Aisloron!”

The alliance army hastily formed ranks to prepare for battle, and after the final prayer, the Knightly Army immediately engaged the enemy.

”Praise Saint Tzeentch, praise the Master of Destiny!”

Amidst the Chaos Demons, praise for Tzeentch was constant. The Dwarf Cannons and Imperial Heavy Artillery immediately began to fire. Howling shells covered the entire front of the Tzeentch Demon Army. Muskets spat fire, long halberds roared in the air, and solid shot tore open gap after gap in the ranks of the Chaos Demons, the exploding shrapnel consuming the Chaos Demons’ bodies.

At this moment, the Dwarf Musketeers, Bastogne Longbowmen, and Wood Elf Rangers set aside their grudges. They united tightly to fight for the Mortal World, and an arrow rain like a torrential downpour harvested the frail Tzeentch Demons. Dwarf infantry, human infantry, and Walking Knights united to resist the enemy. When demons approached the formation, ruthless melee battles erupted at the front lines. The few Tzeentch Demons that managed to reach the front quickly fell under multiple assaults, were banished, and returned to Subspace.

Under the command of Imperial General Dietrich, the Imperial Army fired their artillery with all their might. The Hellstorm Rocket Cannon launched all its rockets. Like fireworks, dozens of rockets soared into the sky and fell among the Tzeentch Demons, causing hundreds of Tzeentch Fire Demons to explode, with thousands of Tzeentch Demons being blown to pieces on the spot.
