Chapter 1118: Chapter 485: Hesitation Leads to Defeat

”Hey ah ah!” The Undead Bone Sword of the Female Vampire struck the golden ring and bounced off. She opened her bloody mouth, her other hand’s claws grabbing onto the Holy Shield’s protection and forcefully squeezing down.

”Crack crack~” The golden ring twisted under the Female Vampire’s strength, emitting cracking sounds. She lifted Alfred through the Holy Shield’s protection and hurled him away.

The Female Vampire watched Alfred’s body fly like a cannonball, smashing through a wall, and landing among a row of bottles and jars. Without turning her head, she placed the Undead Bone Sword behind her. In that spot, the sword blade of the Holy Grail Knight just reached, sparks flew between the Bone Sword and the Knight’s Sword. Fidmund missed the strike and immediately retreated to fight again. The Female Vampire spat out a cloud of black smoke from her bloody mouth, and the silhouette of a Dark Elf approached, with Butterfly Double Daggers aimed directly at the Vampire’s heart and throat. The Midnight Noble raised an arm, using fleshly strength to fight back against the Dark Elf’s attack. Ollica’s Butterfly Double Daggers could not advance, and after several rounds of intense fighting, a slap landed directly on her left cheek.

”Ugh~” Ollica was slapped flying, landing in a pile of straw. Her left cheek swelled immediately, with three scratch marks on her smooth face. The Dark Elf let out a few painful groans, and her amber eyes revealed a bloodthirsty killing intent.

The Female Vampire immediately turned to confront the Holy Grail Knight’s attack. Fidmund pivoted on the spot, gathering his full body strength in his arm, with golden sword oil and flames on his Knight’s Sword. Blessed by the Lake God, the sword’s terrible power caused even a High-Rank Vampire to hesitate. The Midnight Noble bent her knees backward to avoid the sweeping sword edge, watching the air being torn in half by the golden flames.

”For the Lady! Die!” The Holy Grail Knight’s body exceeded mortal limits. Missing the sweep, he immediately switched to a vertical chop. The Female Vampire struck with her Undead Bone Sword to meet the attack head-on, and the High-Rank Vampire and Holy Grail Knight engaged quickly for five to six rounds. Their movements so fast they were unseen by the naked eye. Fidmund chanted high the names of the Lake Fairy and Manannan, and the scent of the Great Sea emanated from his Knight’s Sword. This time, he achieved some success, as the upward slash left a fine wound on the Female Vampire’s chest accompanied by her scream.

But this insignificant achievement left him vulnerable. The Holy Grail Knight’s shield blocked the Undead Bone Sword, but not the Female Vampire’s other hand. Her sharp claws penetrated Fidmund’s Brittania Secret Silver Plate Armor, stabbing into his chest, drenching his inner shirt in blood.

Pain could not stop the unwavering faith of the Holy Grail Knight. Fidmund roared in defiance and used his sword to slice the muscle of the Female Vampire’s left leg, causing the Midnight Noble to lose her balance.

The Female Vampire withdrew her claws, retreating shakily a few steps. She instinctively looked up at the collapsed ceiling, where the cold moonlight streamed through the opening. She chuckled sinisterly and madly, and her figure transformed into a blood mist.

She planned to escape.

”Holy Light Skill!” A golden beam of light shot from the other side of the collapsed wall. A bloodied Alfred stretched out his hand, Holy Light Skill from the Temple Knight’s forehead. The Holy Light struck the blood mist from the side, forcing the Female Vampire to reveal her true form again, enveloped in golden Holy Light. Alfred wiped the blood off his forehead, chanting another Holy Light Skill: ”Again! Holy Light Skill!”

The consecutive Holy Light Skills finally inflicted some damage on the High-Rank Vampire. Under the bathing of the Holy Light, the Midnight Noble’s body turned charred black, yet her movements went unhindered. She swung the Undead Bone Sword and charged again to engage Fidmund, and within the blurry flashes of blade and sword, the Female Vampire clashed three more rounds with the Holy Grail Knight. Her claws struck the Holy Grail Knight’s shield, the sharp talons digging deep grooves along the shield engraved with the Sea God Trident and Golden Chalice patterns. Then she swiftly kicked Fidmund, sending him flying.

”Hey ah ah ah!” The Female Vampire stood her ground, shrieking continuously, the light of the Holy Light Skill beginning to fade.

”Blade Fury!” Ollica’s magic arrived. The Dark Elf recited another Dark Magic, and dozens of blades formed in a purple-black magic power whirlwind directly charging at the Midnight Noble.

”What makes you stand on the Holy Grail’s side, Dark Elf?” The Female Vampire swung her sword, deflecting the blades in full speed. She opened her mouth wide, the muscles on her face twisted into tumor-like masses, making her look like a crazed Vampire Beast: ”Let me...”

Before she finished speaking, the Knight’s Sword of the Holy Grail Knight reappeared before the Female Vampire. Fidmund was gasping heavily, yet his movements showed no interruption. The Female Vampire had to engage with the Holy Grail Knight again. Fidmund fiercely slashed twice, the sword edge slicing through the musty air of the cellar, forming a ”cross” and batting away the Female Vampire’s sword. The Holy Grail Knight raised his shield, smashing it on the Female Vampire’s forehead: ”Shield Bash!”

”Ah!” The Female Vampire was struck into a moment of rigidity.

”Taste this!” A bottle of Holy Water was thrown, shattering on the ceiling. Kneeling on one knee, Alfred seized the moment to toss the only small bottle of Holy Water. The Holy Grail Knight and Female Vampire both bathed in the Holy Water’s cleansing. The sacred power soothed Fidmund’s wound pain, while the Female Vampire screamed heavily from its scorching. She retreated with a burst of speed, her figure phasing out of battle and charged towards the Temple Knight!

This Temple Knight was too bothersome! First, kill him!

”Alfred! Watch out!” Fidmund shouted, the Holy Grail Knight wanted to rush over, but he couldn’t match the Vampire’s speed! In the blink of an eye, the Female Vampire stood before Alfred!

”Hey! Undead! Try this!” Alfred pulled out another small bottle, tossing it directly at the Female Vampire. The Female Vampire instantly thought the small bottle contained Holy Water. In the choice between self-destruction or dodging, the Midnight Noble hesitated for a moment and chose to dodge away.

”Pop~” The small bottle shattered on the cellar floor, releasing the scent of white grape wine.

It was the famous wine from the Bilibali Duchy, Sherry.

”???!!!” The Female Vampire immediately realized she was deceived. She screamed: ”Damn! Despicable bastard!”

Too late, as she dodged, the Temple Knight had already pulled out a Dwarf Rune Four-shot Fire Cannon from behind.

At point-blank range, the Temple Knight pulled the trigger.

”Bang~” The first bullet struck the Female Vampire’s forehead, spraying a mist of blood.

”Bang~” The second bullet hit the Female Vampire’s left cheek, shattering her skull.

”Bang bang~” The third and fourth bullets shot into the Female Vampire’s chest.

The Magic Bursting Bullets from the Veronica Wizard Tower exploded rapidly within the Midnight Noble’s body.

The Female Vampire finally suffered severe damage. Under the firearm’s power, she staggered back a step. Two Butterfly Daggers pierced through her chest from behind. The Dark Elf deftly twisted the daggers, and Ollica scooped out the black heart, crushing it into pieces.

”For the Lady’s love! Die like this, Undead!” Fidmund’s Knight’s Sword reached and chopped off the Female Vampire’s head.

Alfred held the empty Dwarf Rune Four-shot Fire Cannon and let out a long breath, the Temple Knight smiled.

”Hesitation leads to defeat!”
