Chapter 1110: Chapter 481: Taking on the Rhino Barehanded! (Part 3)

Laine took a deep breath, gripping the massive rhinoceros horns with both hands. At this point, the fur-wearing rhinoceros was somewhat at a loss, but as a trapped beast, it became even more frantic, and Laine found it hard to hold onto its horns.

”Laine! Laine! Laine!”

The pure wrestling match drove the entire arena into madness. Duke Bilibali Silva even stood up, striding to the edge of the viewing platform, leaning against the railing. He wanted to witness this miracle with his own eyes.

Veronica was covering her mouth with tears in her eyes, knowing how powerful her man was. Meanwhile, Jialan Witch’s face was full of excitement and pride; her thoughts drifted back to the bloody arena of Nagrand and Har-Gangxi. This was her master, both handsome and strong.

But this was not the end of the story. The Grey Knight Primarch held the giant beast’s horns firmly. He gritted his teeth, the corners of his mouth turned up. Even in such extreme circumstances, Laine still increased his exertion.

He began to push back.

The fur-wearing rhinoceros, over two meters tall and more than four meters long including its giant horns, was retreating. The giant beast cried out in panic, its four legs struggling desperately, trying to escape its predicament.

Clearly, Laine was not going to give it a chance.

The Grey Knight Primarch roared, unleashing a beast-like howl. His legs sank into the ground as he suddenly lifted!

The scene that followed took everyone’s breath away.

Dust and sand were swept up, sunlight pressed over the darkness.

”Boom!” The over-two-ton giant beast was flipped on the spot by Laine and fell to the ground, wailing incessantly.

”Laine! Laine! Laine!”

Skilled guards immediately stepped forward, stabbing long spears into several vital points of the fur-wearing rhinoceros to prevent it from rising again.

”Laine! Laine! Laine!”

The loud bullfighting tune once again filled the arena. Such a brilliant and thrilling duel drove all the spectators in the Bilibali Duchy wild. Thunderous applause and cheers erupted from the entire stand, with armfuls of flowers falling from above as the audience chanted Laine’s name, showering him with praise. The event’s master of ceremonies exclaimed, ”It seems today’s duel victor has emerged. Although unexpected, let’s say his name, he is the outsider from Brittania! The Divine Chosen Champion of the Lady of the Lake, Lord Laine Macado!!!”

Laine grimaced a smile, raising his arms despite the soreness to welcome the cheers of all the spectators.

”Rewards! Rewards! Rewards!”

The city was boiling over.

The arena door opened, and Duke Bilibali Silva descended from the platform with his entourage, meeting Laine and others who approached him. He proactively extended his hand to Laine: ”What a surprise that the Divine Chosen Champion of the Lady of the Lake would appear in Estalia. Hello, Lord Laine, I’ve heard of your glorious deeds.”

”What’s this? Is Estalia not welcoming to tourists?” Laine extended his hand to shake hands with Duke Silva, after which the Duke’s attendant presented a pair of rhinoceros ears and a tail, as well as the five hundred Exelants (Estalian Cast Gold Coins) as the victor’s prize.

Laine accepted without hesitation. This was his due, worthy of the highest reward for a bullfighter.

”Tourist? Oh, no, I certainly welcome tourists, but my concern is that you are not merely a tourist. So, tell me, what brings the Divine Chosen Champion of the Lady of the Lake here?” Duke Bilibali nodded calmly.

”There’s something I need your help with...” Laine briefly explained, omitting the fact that the stolen item was the Sea God Trident, only mentioning that a group of rogue knights stole some important artifacts.

After listening to Laine’s account, Duke Bilibali furrowed his brows. He pondered for a moment and then said, ”If I could, I would very much like to refuse your request, Divine Chosen Champion of the Lady of the Lake, this is my territory!”

Laine raised an eyebrow.

”But... I cannot refuse someone who won the bullfighting championship and captured the cheers of the entire city’s citizens.” After pausing for a moment — just when Alfred and Fidmund began to show impatience — Duke Bilibali deliberately turned: ”Follow me.”

”My secretary will help you check the entry records.”
