Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 1886: Chapter 1887: You’re Not Allowed to Get Angry

Su Yi Jing also felt it was somewhat unreal.

Clearly, yesterday he was still having a cold war with her, clearly not long ago, he was still so rough with her, but now...

Unconsciously, Su Yi Jing asked, ”Qingqing, earlier I treated you like that, left you like this, do you really not blame me at all in your heart?”

Feng Feiyan raised her head in his arms, smiled shyly and said, ”I do blame you a little, but as long as you don’t say such harsh words to me in the future, and don’t bully me like that again, I won’t blame you.”

Su Yi Jing immediately said, ”Not bullying you like that won’t do, my parents are still hoping to hold a grandson and granddaughter in their lifetime, at most I will bully you gently.”

”Shut up, don’t say any more!” Feng Feiyan was extremely embarrassed, covering Su Yi Jing’s mouth, not allowing him to speak anymore.

Knowing that Feng Feiyan was very thin-skinned, Su Yi Jing didn’t say anything to make her shy, he just pulled down Feng Feiyan’s hand that was covering his mouth, kissed that hand, and then said, ”Do you know why I didn’t want you to give me the title of Your Majesty’s enfeoffment ceremony?”

”Why?”

”Because my plan is to marry you in the future, the two of us wearing the bright red wedding robes, bowing to each other as a couple.”

The title of Your Majesty after all is just a concubine, even if the enfeoffment ceremony permits wearing red, it is not the bright red. Only the main palace and the rightful wife can wear bright red.

”I also want to marry you, but now I am the Emperor, and besides, I still have three men in my harem.”

”I will take care of those three men, tomorrow I will go to them, didn’t I just tell you, don’t worry, I won’t act rashly, but now I want to tell you something, you must not get angry.”

”What is it?”

”The wedding robe you made back then, I burned it to ashes.”

”...”

”Angry?”

”No.” She hugged him back, burying her face in his chest, her voice muffled, ”I just feel that I hurt you so much back then, otherwise you wouldn’t have burned the wedding robe.”

”It’s good you know. Don’t say you’re not my Qingqing anymore.” That remark truly hurt him.

”Mhm.”

”When the day comes that you really want to marry me, I will personally select several pieces of bright red fabric and have you make the wedding robe for us.”

”Mhm.”

...

Having reconciled with Feng Feiyan, Su Yi Jing was now able to concentrate more on striving for a lifetime together with Feng Feiyan.

Su Yi Jing planned to first deal with Zou Qian, Liang Zhiyao, and Sheng Qingfeng, then think of a way to relieve Feng Feiyan from being the Empress.

So, the next day, Su Yi Jing invited Zou Qian, Liang Zhiyao, and Sheng Qingfeng to Jingchen Palace for a discussion.

Zou, Liang, and Sheng found it rather strange, not knowing what Su Yi Jing wanted to discuss with them, but they had always conducted themselves uprightly, with nothing to fear from Su Yi Jing. Moreover, they were quite bored in the harem, so as soon as Su Yi Jing invited them, they all went to Jingchen Palace.

On the round table, a set of purple clay teapots was laid out, brewing tea with a fragrant aroma, the four of them sat around the table.

Su Yi Jing didn’t speak, instead had all the servants in his palace withdraw, and Zou, Liang, and Sheng immediately understood, realizing that Su Yi Jing wanted to discuss matters alone with them, so they also had the slaves who came with them withdraw.

For a moment, only the four of them remained in the room.

Seeing the door closed by Ye Yi from the outside, Su Yi Jing picked up the teapot, and while pouring tea into the four teacups before him, he began to speak slowly, not beating around the bush at all.
