Chapter 1856: Chapter 1857: We’ll Teach Her a Lesson for You!

Feng Feiyan had not yet spoken when An Yiqing said, ”Royal Uncle, for the next few days, I have already promised my three beautiful younger brothers to teach them archery. I won’t have time to take Emperor Feng around. I hope Royal Uncle will allow it and Emperor Feng will excuse me.”

Although An Yiqing had just accepted Feng Feiyan’s apology, that was only on the surface. In his heart, he was particularly resentful of Feng Feiyan’s idea of making him a concubine, dreaming of him accompanying Feng Feiyan.

Clearly, he did not need to take the three little beauties for archery in the coming days. Making them practice archery was just an excuse.

Feng Feiyan wasn’t a fool. Seeing An Yiqing say this, she naturally understood that An Yiqing was still particularly uncomfortable in his heart, so she smiled and said, ”Since the Third Prince has matters to attend to, naturally we shouldn’t trouble him.”

Su Chengyu also knew An Yiqing was still angry, so he followed Feng Feiyan’s words and said, ”Why not let the Second Princess and Third Princess show Emperor Feng around the Imperial City?”

Feng Feiyan immediately smiled and said, ”Wonderful.”

She wasn’t someone who would force others. Besides, she was in the wrong at first, so naturally, she wouldn’t let An Yiqing accompany her around.

In fact, she intended to return to Wufeng the next day, but the Emperor of Xiyun had kindly wished for her to take a good tour of the Imperial City. She couldn’t refuse.

...

As soon as An Yiqing left the Imperial Palace, he went nowhere else, scowling, and returned directly to the Royal Palace.

Upon returning to the Royal Palace, he saw Su Yi Jing teaching the three little beauties to practice sword fighting. This made him unable to contain his anger, furiously saying, ”Elder Brother, that Feng Feiyan is utterly insulting! She actually wants me to marry into her family as a concubine! Damn it, I am a dignified man of seven feet. Even if I have to beg, I would never become someone’s concubine!”

Su Yi Jing was taken aback for a moment, then frowned and said, ”She is slightly overboard.” After a pause, ”What did you do to her? She actually wants you to marry into her family as a concubine?”

An Yiqing felt wronged and said, ”I did nothing to her! Seeing she is a ruler of Wufeng Kingdom, I treated and spoke with her according to our Xiyun imperial family manners. What could I possibly do to her?! It’s her outrageous insult, wanting me to marry into Wufeng and become her concubine.”

When the three little beauties saw An Yiqing so angry, they stopped practicing sword fighting and came over, saying, ”Third Brother, where is that Feng Feiyan? We’ll go and teach her a lesson! Bullying our Third Brother! Humph!”

An Yiqing felt particularly gratified upon seeing this and instantly felt much better, ”You all know how to stand up for Third Brother now, which makes me very happy. But Qi child, Lin child, Zhi child, you cannot go to teach her a lesson. She is the ruler of Wufeng, and she has apologized to me, saying it was for the betterment of diplomatic relations between our two countries. Still, Third Brother is feeling uncomfortable. How could she choose me, a dignified man, to marry into her family as a concubine?”

Before the three little beauties could speak, Su Yi Jing asked, ”You agreed?”

”How could I agree?!” An Yiqing immediately erupted again, ”If I agreed, I wouldn’t be so angry! Second Uncle doesn’t agree either. I am a dignified Prince of Western Cloud. If I married her as a concubine, wouldn’t other countries laugh at us Xiyun? No way could I ever agree!”

It was only then that Su Yi Jing comforted him, saying, ”Since Second Uncle doesn’t agree either, there’s no need to be angry. You mentioned it’s for the friendlier relations between the two countries.”

”But I’m still uncomfortable in my heart.” An Yiqing still couldn’t calm down, ”Enough, Elder Brother, I won’t talk to you anymore. I’m going to my room to calm down. Don’t disturb me.”
