Chapter 1875: Chapter 1876: Her Indulgence

”Yes, young master.” Ye Yi immediately accepted the order and went to keep an eye on Feng Feiyan.

...

As soon as Feng Feiyan left the Assembly Hall after the morning court, she saw Ye Yi watching her from not far away.

After that, no matter where she went, Ye Yi would always be there not far away, keeping an eye on her.

”Emperor, Xiao Guijun has gone too far by actually sending someone to watch you!” Chief Guard Shen Feifan was very annoyed. ”And so openly too, without showing any respect for you! Emperor, you cannot let this go unpunished!”

”All he wants is to know my whereabouts, so just let him know,” Feng Feiyan remained calm.

”Emperor...” Shen Feifan could not believe that Feng Feiyan was willing to let this matter go so easily.

Feng Feiyan was looking at the memorials, not sparing Shen Feifan a glance. She only looked at him after closing the book in her hands, ”Go and bring Ye Yi over.”

”Yes.” Although Shen Feifan was unwilling, he went to call Ye Yi, who was standing not far away, watching Feng Feiyan.

The moment Feng Feiyan saw Ye Yi approach, she said indifferently, ”Since he wants you to watch me, then go ahead and watch.”

Ye Yi was stunned for a moment, seemingly not expecting Feng Feiyan to say this.

Shen Feifan was even more incredulous. Emperor, must you indulge Xiao Guijun like this? You are the Emperor!

”It’s just that,” Feng Feiyan continued, ”keeping an eye on me like this will cause trouble for your young master.”

After contemplating for a moment, Feng Feiyan added, ”How about this, you follow me like Shen Guard and the others do. Wherever I go, you follow, that way, everyone will think you’re also one of my guards. There won’t be any negative rumors, and it will also be better for your young master.”

Ye Yi said, ”I need to ask our young master for instructions.”

Feng Feiyan chuckled softly, ”So your young master really does want you to blatantly keep an eye on me.”

Ye Yi said nothing.

Feng Feiyan could only smile helplessly and shake her head without saying anything further.

...

Upon returning to Jingchen Palace, Ye Yi went to report to Su Yijing.

Su Yijing learned that Feng Feiyan was not angry at all and even considered his position, suggesting that Ye Yi pretend to be her guard to keep close surveillance on her. This lightened his mood a bit.

He had Ye Yi watch her to know her movements. He had him watch her so blatantly to see her reaction. Now knowing she was so lenient, he naturally would not have Ye Yi watch her so openly anymore, so he agreed to have Ye Yi pretend to be her guard to keep close surveillance on her.

However, ever since Ye Yi began keeping an eye on Feng Feiyan, she never visited Jingchen Palace again.

Of course, Feng Feiyan also did not visit Empress Zou and the others in their quarters.

Since Feng Feiyan didn’t come to Jingchen Palace, Su Yijing was not in a hurry to find her. He had five years to spend with her. His urgent task now was to figure out how to deal with Zou Qian, Liang Zhiyao, and Sheng Qingfeng.

He didn’t want three men coming between him and Feng Feiyan.

Thinking about what Su Yixing told him before he came to Wufeng, Su Yijing decided to leave the palace once. He would have Slayer Tower look into Zou Qian, Liang Zhiyao, and Sheng Qingfeng thoroughly.

However, before leaving the palace, he had to meet Feng Feiyan’s father and mother.

He had heard that Feng Feiyan’s father had been unwell for a long time, so he wanted to see what illness Feng Feiyan’s father had so that he could ask his second brother if it could be treated.

Upon arriving at Longevity Palace, Su Yijing saw Empress Zou Qian, along with the two noblemen Liang Zhiyao and Sheng Qingfeng, were also there.
