Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 1244 - 645: Withering the World Tree? (Part 3)

The special aspect of the World Tree is that the internal time flows a hundred times faster.

Observing the outside world from the internal console, everything outside seems almost stagnant.

In this situation, trying to monitor changes in the outside world is as easy as pie. It’s practically impossible for the other party to send someone to secretly approach and harm the World Tree.

”What if they shoot a missile with a needle over here and it directly ’clicks’ into the World Tree, then injects the internal solution into it...” Qin Yunlong proposed a somewhat exaggerated idea.

Although it’s a bit exaggerated, it’s not impossible.

”Even if they could do that, there’s no need to worry; we’ve already installed an anti-missile system outside.” Xu Ying lay down beside Li Wenxi and said, ”Our initial layout inside and outside the World Tree is complete. But for now, there should be nothing to worry about since it seems the other side doesn’t even consider us a threat.”

On the other side of Earth, in the midst of vast land, there’s a house crawling with bugs.

Should they just let them crawl away?

Is it worth mobilizing efforts from half a planet away to deal with bugs?

It’s not worth it.

This should be the current thinking of the alien invaders.

”Do they really have no intention of attacking us?” Ji Chaoyang looked at Xu Xin, ”You guys, have you already figured out what those stone creatures are? They’re not sent by the alien invaders.”

”Hmm, no, they’re not. They came along with that monster.”

Xu Xin nodded.

”Huh?”

”Those stone creatures were brought by that monster?”

The explorers were somewhat surprised.

Then they all felt it made sense.

Ji Chaoyang nodded lightly, ”Indeed. For survivors, especially those in Area 188, it should be very concerned, after all, we exist here. The experiments underground in Area 188 should have been conducted by it.”

That’s correct.

The giant beasts of the underground world were experiments conducted by the alien invaders, flooding a large area of the underground world with these massive creatures.

But the method of petrification to control the underground giants was done by the monster.

”It was it?” Li Wenxi was somewhat surprised, ”Why would it... Ah, to strengthen its own forces?”

”Yes.” Xu Xin nodded, ”After all, it wasn’t fully accepted by the alien invaders. For its own sake, it wants to possess its own strength.”

Thinking about it now, it’s quite possible that Changyin was controlled by some means it used.

”So those groups of stone creatures, including Changyin, are here to...”

”They’re here to seek alliance with us,” Xu Xin said, ”Although it sent them over first, the stone creatures are limited by the World Tree and can’t be directly transported to its side, they can only be teleported to the closest location and then walk over.”

”So that’s how it is...”

The people present roughly understood the current situation.

”So what should we do next?” Wang Lei stood up, stretching his strong body, ”I’ve been cooped up inside the World Tree for so long that my body is getting rusty! Time to move around a bit!”

”For now, nothing. Continue doing what we previously did,” Ji Chaoyang said, looking at Xu Xin, ”You probably think the same, right.”

”Yes.” Xu Xin nodded, ”At this moment, we’re not even qualified to show our strength to attract them. What we need to do now is develop as quickly as possible. Before that, any plans to launch an attack are meaningless. At the very least, we need to be able to protect our World Tree first!”

Fortunately, the World Tree provides abundant time internally.

Just give us a few days of external time, and internally we can probably develop well!

A few days of time... should be possible, right?
