Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 1113 - 601: Earth-Shaking Changes Inside the World Tree (Part 3)

”...The interior of the World Tree is influenced by space-time forces, causing differences in space and time compared to the outside world; you should be aware of this, right?” Xu Xin said to Xu Ying, then he pulled the two women outside, ”Let’s enter the World Tree first.”

Explaining the situation clearly would take at least dozens of minutes.

It will take several days inside there!

Let’s go in and talk later!

”Space-time difference? Ah, there truly is.”

After Xu Xin brought Xu Ying down from the treehouse, Xu Ying nodded and said, ”We indeed enhanced the World Tree seed with space-time forces to expand the internal space of the World Tree. At the time, our idea was to use the internal space of the World Tree as a transit station for relocating underground humanity to the surface, so the space had to be large.”

”Is the inside of the World Tree big? How big?” Li Wenxi asked as she was pulled by Xu Xin, looking up at the lush and sky-covering World Tree.

”About a hundred times the area you see,” Xu Xin said, ”It’s as large as a large city.”

”A hundred times?!” Li Wenxi and Xu Ying both exclaimed.

”It’s actually that large!” Xu Ying’s mouth was slightly agape in astonishment, ”This is really unexpected... We originally thought that if the internal area of the World Tree could expand to a dozen times larger, it would be impressive...”

”At least a hundred times.” Xu Xin had already led the two women to the thick roots, explaining, ”This is merely a speculative estimation; in reality, there’s no visible end, so perhaps it is even larger.”

”This is truly a delightful surprise!” Xu Ying was excited, she immediately reached out to touch the roots.

Instantly, a door opened up in the roots.

Her technique was much more adept than Xu Xin’s.

She stepped inside, and Xu Xin also pulled Li Wenxi in.

The door behind them quickly shrank away, blocking out the light.

”It’s so dark!” Li Wenxi complained, ”Why is there no light inside?”

Then, she directly took out a flashlight from her backpack, turned it on with a click, and the surroundings were instantly illuminated.

It was actually a high-powered flashlight, making the inside as bright as day.

”Ah, is this the interior of the roots? It’s really a hundred times bigger than the outside.” Li Wenxi marveled.

”What about the time?” Xu Ying looked up at Xu Xin, ”How is the time? According to our calculations, the time flow inside the World Tree should be about three times as fast as outside, allowing us more time to develop ourselves. Is it indeed three times?”

Three times...

”...It has reached that.” Xu Xin nodded.

”Great!” Xu Ying suddenly became excited, clapped her hands, and jumped for joy, ”We really made a unique World Tree!”

”It has reached it, but there’s a problem.”

Xu Ying’s smile faded slightly, nervously asking, ”What problem?”

”The speed is a bit too fast. It’s as much as... over a hundred times.”

”...Huh? How many times?”

”Over a hundred times.”

”Fifteen times?”

”Over a hundred times!”

”...Huh?!”

”So now, inside the World Tree, from when they moved in until now, it’s already been half a month.”

”Oh? You... what are you talking about?” Li Wenxi was momentarily unable to accept such a large amount of information, ”I can understand different time flows, but moving a hundred times faster means...”

”Go up and see for yourself.”

Xu Xin immediately led the two women into the elevator.

The vines closed, then began to speed up.

”Over a hundred times... over a hundred times...” Xu Ying murmured, then her eyes grew brighter and she couldn’t help but exclaim with excitement, ”This is simply the greatest surprise! We have a hundred times more preparation time than others!”

”That might not be necessarily true.” Xu Xin shook his head.

They had arrived.

The vines unfolded, the wooden door opened.

What was before their eyes made all three of their eyes brighten.

Especially Xu Xin, his eyes widened directly.

”Isn’t this change a bit too much...”

He saw patches of low buildings, fields, and expansive orchards and forests.

The growth level was all above blue grade and some even had purple grade plants.

He also saw several generators generating electricity, and power cables even connected to various low buildings.

He even saw...

The creatures being kept in enclosures, are those... cattle and sheep?
