Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 1111 - 601: Earth-Shattering Changes Within the World Tree

Sat on the sofa for a few minutes, Xu Xin felt a hint of boredom, raised his watch, and started checking the situation on various channels.

The world channel still had no activity.

The regional channel and alliance channel, however, were constantly buzzing with discussions.

After the world tree matured, Ji Chaoyang announced the result on both channels, making the survivors from Area 188 and Area 1 even more restless.

They were all discussing now how to quickly get to the world tree.

”My location is about 300 kilometers west of the Transmission Array northwest of Area 188. Are there any other survivors nearby? If so, let’s group up and head to the Transmission Array together!”

Although the entire Area 188 no longer posed the danger of those mutated vines emerging from the ground when stepped on under the world tree’s influence, there were still beasts and various dangers on the ground.

If someone were to walk these hundreds of kilometers, it would take at least a few days and they would need to rest. It would be too risky moving alone, so someone had released a team invitation on the channel.

Soon, there were some responses.

”West? Due west! I’m there! I’m just to the west, feels like it’s around 300 kilometers too, about the same!”

”I’m slightly northwest of the Transmission Array! But not by much, feels like I can join you guys!”

”Do you have any notable landmarks there? Even if it’s close in terms of kilometers, the chance of just randomly meeting is basically zero without a place to gather!”

”Landmarks...”

”There’s a relatively tall mountain range here, about one or two hundred meters high, does that count?”

”Mountain range? Is it the one that gets taller the more east you go?”

”Yes, that’s right! The east is the highest, the middle is the lowest, and the west is slightly high!”

”Ah damn, I’m about twenty kilometers from that mountain range! If I hurry, I can get there in an hour or two!”

”Ah, I can see that mountain range too! It’s not very visible at night now, but during the day it’s clear!”

”Seriously! My treehouse is right by the mountain range! If you get here, you’ll definitely see it. The trees around here, my treehouse is the tallest and greenest!”

”Sounds good, mate! You stay put in your treehouse, I’m heading over now!”

”Alright, alright! Come quickly! Oh by the way, I’m a girl, don’t call me mate.”

”Cool, girl!”

”Damn, a rare lady!”

”I’m nearby too, feels like I’ll be there in two or three hours!”

”? What’s rare about a lady? I don’t feel there’s much fewer women than men now.”

”Yeah, I’m a girl.”

”Then start your journey quickly, we’re waiting for you!”

”I’m also a girl, plenty of women right?”

”I’ll pack up right away... Oh, this regional channel is too chaotic, let’s start a new group!”

”Hey, wait, add me too! I can see that mountain, and I’m only a few dozen kilometers away!”

The channel constantly played out this kind of drama.

Using the Transmission Array as a coordinate point, people were dividing into small areas oriented east, west, north, and south, preparing to collectively head in that direction!

Xu Xin did not intervene because he felt this was already the most suitable approach for them at this stage.

The explorers couldn’t provide any more help to these people now, they had to rely on themselves.

By the way, what’s the situation on Shi Wanyun’s side?

Xu Xin thought for a moment and made a voice call to Lou Fei’Er.

It only rang twice before the other side picked up.

”Why are you so slow? Aren’t you just getting something?”

Xu Xin instantly spoke with a slightly impatient tone.

Area 1 is not affected by the world tree, it’s highly possible they’d be monitoring someone as important as Shi Wanyun.

Hence, he called Lou Fei’Er, as her acting was least likely to be flawed.

”Well... I don’t know either.” Lou Fei’Er replied with a hint of grievance in her tone, ”Since we arrived, Shi Wanyun locked herself in the room, said she was looking for something, hasn’t come out till now.”

”Hasn’t come out till now?” Xu Xin continued to question, ”You don’t go in with her?”

Shi Wanyun entering the room alone clearly meant she was creating conditions to talk with the alien invaders.

If Lou Fei’Er was nearby, even if the alien invaders made contact, from whatever angle, Shi couldn’t speak in response, she could only silently listen, naturally impossible to extract information.

”She wouldn’t let us! Who knows what she’s doing inside!” Lou Fei’Er said, walking to the door, forcefully knocking, ”Hey, are you done yet?”

”Wait a moment,” Shi Wanyun’s voice came, ”almost done.”

”She’s still not coming out.” Lou Fei’Er said helplessly, then gritted her teeth and said, ”Were it not for you not letting me hurt her, and Jin Yue also stopping me, I would have burst in long ago.”

Then, her voice lowered slightly, as if whispering, ”I said long ago, this woman definitely has issues! You shouldn’t have allowed her to leave! She should have been locked up all along!”

This act really has a lot to it, Xu Xin almost couldn’t follow the rhythm.

”...I said I completely trust her now!” Xu Xin said fiercely, ”She’s my woman now, and it’s not for you to meddle! Your task is to protect her, not to doubt her. Do your job, otherwise I’ll lock you in the dark room when I get back!”
