Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 1109 - 600: The Limit of Control, Moving Inside the World Tree! (Part 2)

”That’s exactly what I mean.” Ji Chaoyang nodded, ”We can’t let that area of the underground world enjoy a much faster time than us.”

Once everyone figured everything out, they all agreed with this approach.

”Keep in touch with me,” Qin Fu, who had been somewhat absent-minded on the side, said, ”If I discover anything, I can tell you immediately.”

During this time, he had been exploring around the World Tree nonstop.

”Alright.”

Xu Xin immediately entered the World Tree, then tried waiting for three minutes before contacting Qin Fu.

As expected, only an instant had passed for the outside world.

It could be basically confirmed that at the moment Xu Xin initiated subjective contact with the outside world, the flow of time inside the World Tree could decelerate to match the speed of the outside world.

The survivors outside the World Tree also began to organize everyone, preparing to move in.

These people, still celebrating victory and having a blast, were thrilled to hear they could move into the World Tree by today.

Especially after hearing about the situation inside the World Tree, everyone started discussing it frantically.

”What? There’s land inside the World Tree? It’s as big as a prefecture-level city?!”

”No way, that’s crazy! The size of a prefecture-level city in our country can rival some small countries abroad!”

”This is outrageous, it’s too much!”

”Oh my god, I thought it would be built like a treehouse inside, but it’s actually a small world!”

”Do we have our own world now?!”

”I can’t believe it...”

”There’s even soil? Possibly sunlight! Does that mean we can transplant our treehouses into the World Tree?”

”We can even farm!”

”Treehouses don’t matter anymore, right? With such a large and safe space, we can build villas directly!”

”Hahaha, the future looks bright!”

”The explorers are practically like bugs in this world...”

Everyone was looking forward to a beautiful and stable life after entering the World Tree.

Some people’s treehouses were left outside as watchtowers and turrets, while they built houses inside; others planned to transplant their treehouses inside and continue living in them.

However, the explorers hadn’t told them about the time flow discrepancy yet.

After all, they hadn’t figured it out themselves, and telling other survivors could cause panic.

Everything was proceeding smoothly.

But another unexpected event occurred. Before Xu Xin could catch his breath, the situation changed again.

After about half an hour of continuous voice communication with Qin Fu, during which Qin Fu was still exploring and occasionally chatting with Xu Xin.

”So boss, what do you plan...”

Qin Fu’s voice suddenly cut off.

”...? What’s going on?” Xu Xin was startled and quickly sent another call request to Qin Fu.

The result was... unable to connect.

It was as if he was once again in an area where communication was blocked.

However, Xu Xin didn’t panic and waited for a few minutes.

The time inside was fast, so even after a few minutes, only an instant had passed outside.

But after a few minutes, he tried making the call again and still couldn’t connect.

Xu Xin felt something was wrong.

Could there be an issue with the time flow?

He quickly returned outside.

As soon as he got out, within two seconds, Qin Fu called back.

”Boss, why did you hang up?”

”...Did you call me back immediately after the call dropped?”

”Yes.”

Xu Xin breathed a sigh of relief.

Not a big problem.

”Hold on a second.”

Xu Xin kept the voice call going and entered the World Tree’s roots again.

The result was, the moment he entered, the call was immediately cut off.

”?”

Xu Xin looked at his watch.

In an instant, a possibility flashed through his mind.

He could indeed affect the time flow inside the World Tree, but...

This influence... is limited.

Earlier, through some unknown principle, he had forcibly controlled the internal flow of the World Tree to match the speed of the outside world for a full half-hour.

If Xu Xin hadn’t affected it, the time inside the World Tree would have passed much longer.

He had just calculated the time ratio; the internal time and external time speed ratio should be about... one hundred to one.

Similar to the size difference.

One hundred minutes pass inside, while only one minute passes outside.

A day outside means a hundred days inside.

Based on this ratio, if without Xu Xin’s influence, half an hour outside should have been about fifty hours inside, or more than two days.

But Xu Xin had forcibly shortened those two days into half an hour.

And then the problem occurred.

Perhaps that was the limit of his control.

For a short period, he probably wouldn’t be able to influence the time flow of the World Tree again.

To verify this hypothesis, he entered and exited the World Tree multiple times, even waiting two hours inside.

Of course, according to the time flow ratio, only a little over a minute passed outside.

The result was still ineffective.

Unable to do anything, Xu Xin had to gather the explorers again and inform them of the situation.

”You can no longer affect the flow speed...” Ji Chaoyang furrowed his brows.

They now understood the ratio of one to one hundred.

This flow speed ratio was indeed terrifying.

They couldn’t let that area of the underground world continue to move so fast.
