Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 1110 - 600: The Limits of Control, Relocating Into the World Tree! (Part 3)

”In your prophecy, all of us have already entered the World Tree, right?” Xu Xin suddenly asked Ji Chaoyang.

”That’s right,” Ji Chaoyang nodded, ”Even your sister showed no signs of dissent and seemed very satisfied with the world inside the World Tree.”

”Then... you all should enter it,” Xu Xin decided decisively, ”Go in now.”

Based on the previous experiment, he calculated something.

The time flow within the World Tree is not chaotic but rather very stable.

Its ratio to external time is steadily about 100:1.

The instability comes from himself.

He was influencing the time flow within the World Tree, and he didn’t know how to control it.

But now, he can no longer influence the World Tree. To put it simply, he needed mana to influence the World Tree, and he had run out of mana.

This means the time flow inside the World Tree is now very stable!

At least during the two hours he spent inside, there were no issues.

Coupled with Ji Chaoyang’s prophecy, he felt the safety inside the World Tree should be assured!

His idea made everyone excited.

Wen Guixin exclaimed excitedly, ”Is it really okay now? I’ve been ready for a long time, just waiting to see inside!”

”Exactly, you’ve talked so much, I’m super curious!” Wang Lei rubbed his hands, ”I want to go in and take a look!”

”They’re all ready.” Qi Xuefei looked towards the other survivors not far away and said, ”We’ve barely settled just after a big battle, and we haven’t really put down roots, so we can relocate at any time.”

”In that case, I agree to enter the World Tree,” Ji Chaoyang said.

A consensus was reached.

The explorers organized everyone, while Xu Xin did not move and instead looked up at the World Tree, contemplating the upcoming situation.

”At this stage, only you can lead us inside,” Ji Chaoyang also did not leave and said to Xu Xin.

”I just tried inside and didn’t know how to give power or partial control to you,” Xu Xin turned to Ji Chaoyang, ”Maybe... we’ll have to wait for Yingying to come.”

Ji Chaoyang nodded, ”Alright.”

”After I get you all in, I’ll come out and wait outside for Yingying and Wenxi to return.”

”... You’ll be waiting outside?”

”Yes, I don’t know when my ability to influence the World Tree will recover, so it’s best to stay outside, lest I subconsciously affect the time flow, causing it to become chaotic.”

It’s manageable if the flow speeds up, but if it slows down, causing a day inside the World Tree to be a year outside...

That would really be a death sentence.

If that happens, we might not even stay inside for a few minutes before the outside alien invaders have already attacked.

Although the World Tree is very strong now, who knows if the alien invaders have the means to destroy it.

They are a species capable of traversing the universe!

So before understanding how to safely control the time flow within the World Tree, it’s better for me, as a variable, not to stay inside.

Just in case.

I’ll wait outside for Yingying’s return.

It should be soon.

”My prophecy tells me that at least before your sister Xu Ying comes, we will be very safe. Perhaps there’s no need to worry so much,” Ji Chaoyang said.

Xu Xin smiled slightly, ”Aren’t you relying a bit too much on your prophecy? Perhaps it’s because of my decision that we’re safer? If I went inside... don’t forget, your prophecy can be changed.”

Ji Chaoyang was silent for a moment and then said, ”You’re right, perhaps I’ve relied too much on this prophecy ability recently.”

”This ability is so powerful, who wouldn’t rely on it, we’re all relying on your ability,” Xu Xin gently touched the roots of the World Tree, ”However, where caution is needed, we should be a bit cautious.”

Everything that followed went very smoothly.

Some survivors were still celebrating, while others thought the move would happen at daylight, so they had already gone to sleep.

But once they heard they were about to move into the World Tree immediately, they perked up instantly.

Xu Xin directly brought everyone into his bracelet and then led everyone in.

Seeing the world inside the World Tree, everyone cheered and rejoiced.

The land was very vast, and without any vegetation, everyone began discussing ardently.

”It’s so bare here! Let’s quickly plant something!”

”Yeah, it looks so desolate, it’s a bit depressing!”

”How deep is the soil inside this World Tree, I kind of want to dig down and see!”

”Do you think there are mineral resources inside the World Tree?”

”If not, we can go out and dig.”

”Inside and outside the tree are both dark! It’s always night!”

... Wait a moment.

Darkness.

Xu Xin frowned.

If the day-night cycle inside the World Tree is the same as outside...

”A situation where a day and night cycle is a hundred days might occur.”

Ji Chaoyang seemed to understand what Xu Xin was thinking and said, ”Don’t worry too much about this, it won’t greatly affect plant growth. I just tried it, and we each have a treehouse core. Of course, if we could build the buildings from Crystal City here, it would be even better.”

”Maybe it’s possible.”

Xu Xin didn’t stay inside for long.

After Ji Chaoyang and the others assured him, ”Don’t worry,” he left the World Tree and returned to his treehouse.

He was always counting down in his heart.

Every second outside equals almost two minutes inside the World Tree.

Half an hour outside is more than two days inside.

And it’s perpetual night.

How fascinating.

When he enters next time, it should be very organized inside, right?

He didn’t want to bother with these things anyway and decided to just enjoy the results.

Wenxi and Yingying are coming back soon.

One of his main reasons for not staying inside the World Tree was that he wanted to see the two women as soon as possible.

He didn’t want to wait inside for a few days, ten days, or even dozens of days.

”Come back soon...”

”Mmm...” Keke lay on his chest with her belly up, enjoying the petting, her big tail constantly wagging.
