Berserk God of War

33: Chapter 033 This is My Home 33: Chapter 033 This is My Home The courtyard was deathly quiet, and everyone was struck by sheer terror!

Sikong Jing’s eyes flickered with a cold light as he looked at the several dozen house servants who were already scared out of their wits.

His voice became frosty, “My family doesn’t owe you wages, yet you attempted to rob us of our belongings.

Therefore, you…

won’t have any funeral expenses.”

“Kill…”

Figures flashed, and the sound of screams filled the air.

By the time Sikong Jing landed, not a single one of the house servants in the courtyard had survived.

As for those house servants who previously couldn’t bring themselves to plunder and were outside the courtyard, they were so frightened that they wet themselves and fled as if flying.

In their eyes, Sikong Jing had transformed into a murderous demon.

Of course, Sikong Jing didn’t bother with them, as he only killed the guilty.

How could he recklessly kill the innocent?

His gaze returned to Su Yun.

Su Yun kept retreating, her fingers trembling as she said, “Criminal, you…

you actually killed so many house servants.”

Slap!

With a flash, Sikong Jing struck Su Yun to the ground with a slap and looked down at her, saying, “I dare to kill you too, but the time isn’t right.

It’s not too late to kill you after your elder brother Su Shan comes back and receives his punishment.”

With that said, bang…

Sikong Jing kicked out, sending Su Yun flying out of the courtyard.

In pain, Su Yun rolled frantically on the ground, and it took her a good while before she got up and shrieked, “Criminal, you are as good as dead.”

“Su Yuexi, you ugly freak, just wait…”

“Don’t think this criminal is helping you.

He was captured by the City Guards, and he might have run back after seeing things go south.

I’m going to report this to the officials now.”

“I’ll also report this to grandfather, you all wait for your death!”

As she hurled threats in a haphazard manner, Su Yun ran away in fright.

In the courtyard, only Sikong Jing and Su Yuexi and her mother remained among the corpses.

It was only now that they recovered from their shock.

Mei Xiaofang finally regained her composure and, with trembling lips, said, “Sikong Jing, how…

how could you kill so many house servants?”

She was terrified; the killing did not stop at Aunt Li and the others, but extended to dozens more.

This would indeed create an uproar.

Su Xuefeng wouldn’t sit idly by; he would soon come with people to kill them.

Mei Xiaofang couldn’t fathom why Sikong Jing would act so recklessly.

“My dear mother-in-law, you have endured for far too long, to the point where any mere house servant feels emboldened to bully you,” Sikong Jing said, his deep voice resonating and his eyes sharp.

It wasn’t just house servants; even their so-called friends from outside had the audacity to insult them.

Her own father-in-law, Su Zhenglong, was the patriarch of the Su Family!

These words made Mei Xiaofang tremble all over.

She thought of all the recent events and felt overwhelming sorrow, yet she still shook her head, “Even so, we must endure.”

Her husband, Su Zhenglong, was bedridden with serious illness.

If they didn’t endure, they would perish and have nothing to eat.

“I understand, but now that I am here, you no longer need to endure,” Sikong Jing said with finality in his voice.

Mei Xiaofang’s lips twitched, wanting to say what good is having you here, you’re just a minor martial artist at the Bright Realm Fourth Level.

She didn’t know that three days later, Sikong Jing had already reached the Bright Realm Seventh Level.

However, at least Sikong Jing had not fled, so she held back those harsh words and instead said, “So tell me what we do now.

You’ve killed so many house servants, so Su Xuefeng and Su Zhengtao’s Law Enforcement Hall will be here very soon.”

A gleam flashed in Sikong Jing’s eyes, as he was about to explain something…

Suddenly, a hoarse voice came from inside the hall, “Let the soldiers come, they shall be blocked.

When the waters rise, they will drown.”

All three quickly looked over, only to see Su Zhenglong leaning on the doorframe, appearing at the entrance.

“Master…”

“Father…”

Mei Xiaofang and Su Yuexi called out simultaneously and rushed over like they were flying.

Yesterday had truly terrified them; they thought they were going to be separated from Su Zhenglong forever, like separated by heaven and earth.

“I’m fine,” Su Zhenglong said with a smile, looking at the mother and daughter, and spoke in a low voice, “Ajing is right; we can’t keep tolerating this anymore, or even dogs will climb onto our heads and defecate.”

“Those evil servants, good riddance!”

Looking up, Su Zhenglong faced Sikong Jing, who was approaching, and said again, “Ajing, I owe you a lot this time.”

Sikong Jing shook his head and replied, “Father-in-law, it’s what I should do.”

Then, Su Zhenglong’s expression became serious: “Don’t worry about what comes next, and there’s no need for you to take action.

I will let Su Zhengtao and the others know, that the still living Su Zhenglong is still the once proud son of Yunye City!”

“Cough cough cough…”

As he said this, Su Zhenglong began to cough incessantly.

“Master, you should talk less,” Mei Xiaofang hastily patted his back and said with a pained expression.

In such a state, it was hard for anyone to believe what he could still do.

In the end, Su Zhenglong, who was once the pride of Yunye City, was coughing so badly that he had to be supported back to his room to rest.

And Sikong Jing did not follow him in but threw all the bodies out of the courtyard.

Once everything was taken care of, he saw Su Yuexi walking out of Su Zhenglong’s room alone, standing at the doorway of the hall as if isolated from the world.

She was staring stiffly at herself.

“Yuexi, what’s wrong with you?

You’ve been silent ever since I returned,” Sikong Jing walked over and asked with confusion.

Under the veil, Su Yuexi was biting her lips tightly and still did not speak.

Sikong Jing did not know what his wife was thinking at that moment.

Suddenly, he pulled out a hairpin from his embrace and smiled, “Yuexi, look what I brought back for you.”

Su Yuexi couldn’t help but cover her mouth with her hand as her eyes welled up with tears upon seeing the jade hairpin in Sikong Jing’s hand.

“Don’t cry, I said I would bring the jade hairpin back,” Sikong Jing said with a smile as he wiped away Su Yuexi’s tears.

However, the next instant…

Wow!

Su Yuexi suddenly burst into tears and threw herself into Sikong Jing’s arms.

“I thought that once you left the city, you would never come back.”

“I thought I would never see you again.”

“I thought I was so ugly that I finally scared you away, I was so scared!”

As Su Yuexi sobbed, Sikong Jing froze, finally realizing she had been afraid that he wouldn’t come back.

She took Su Yun’s words to heart, but of course, Sikong Jing could understand.

Su Yuexi was too insecure, and her ugly face made her continuously doubt herself.

Regarding this, Sikong Jing, who was also not good at expressing himself, just held Su Yuexi tightly and said, “This is…

my home!”

“Ah…”

A sigh softly emerged from Su Zhenglong’s room, it was Mei Xiaofang.

Through the window, she could clearly see the situation outside with her daughter and the criminal son-in-law.

She then turned her gaze to Su Zhenglong, who was half-reclining on the bed, and said, “Master, I still suspect that this criminal originally intended to flee, but just as Su Yun said, he was either captured and brought back or saw that the situation was bad and ran back.”

Upon hearing this, Su Zhenglong’s gaze flickered, but he did not respond.

He couldn’t figure out what there was about his ugly daughter that could make Sikong Jing care, even though he was just a criminal.

What man doesn’t wish for his woman to be beautiful?
