While defending against the house servants who were assaulting Su Zhenglong’s room, Su Yuexi stood frozen, as if struck by lightning.

She heard Sikong Jing’s voice in the courtyard.

Was it an illusion?

It must be an illusion, she just missed him too much.

“You’re looking for death!”

Just as Su Yuexi was in distress, Sikong Jing’s voice echoed again.

This time it was real and loud, like thunder!

Boom!

A furious figure smashed into the hall and flickered in front of Su Zhenglong’s room door, with a flurry of kicks lashing out at the house servants attacking Mei Xiaofang and Su Yuexi.

Scream after scream arose as one servant after another was sent flying, quickly clearing all the house servants from the scene.

Sikong Jing then looked toward the disheveled mother and daughter at the door and asked, “Yue Xi, Mother-in-law, are you all right?”

The mother and daughter stared dumbly at the imposing figure filled with rage.

In Mei Xiaofang’s eyes appeared disbelief.

He had actually come back, he hadn’t run away.

And Su Yuexi was so overwhelmed she couldn’t speak, her body rigid with fear that this might just be a dream.

At that moment, Sikong Jing heard noises of movement from other rooms in the courtyard and said, “Don’t worry, I’m going to drive everyone out now, and I’m going to make them pay.”

Turning around, Sikong Jing exploded into action, his killing intent swirling like a storm.

Bang, bang, bang…

With more rumbling and screams, Sikong Jing swept through each room, blasting all the house servants out.

Hearing these sounds, Su Yuexi finally reacted, stammering as she asked, “Mother, we aren’t dreaming, right?

Sikong Jing really came back, he really didn’t abandon me, right?”

Looking at her daughter whose entire face was wet with tears, Mei Xiaofang uncertainly replied, “Maybe he was captured and brought back.”

Her mind trembling, Su Yuexi became dazed once again.

Having seen too much cruelty, the mother and daughter found it hard to imagine that someone could truly have good intentions toward them, especially someone accused of a crime.

A criminal, can there really be a good person?

By this time, Sikong Jing had cleared all the house servants out, throwing them all onto the open ground in the courtyard.

Mei Xiaofang tightly held Su Yuexi’s hand, comforting her, “Maybe he truly couldn’t bear to leave you, and that’s why he came back.”

Looking at her daughter’s pained expression, Mei Xiaofang couldn’t bear to disillusion her further.

Then, Mei Xiaofang led Su Yuexi out of the hall, silently praying that Sikong Jing hadn’t been captured and forced to return to this home.

Otherwise, her fragile daughter wouldn’t be able to withstand it.

“Criminal, weren’t you supposed to have escaped the city?

Why did you come back?” Su Yun asked, staring.

Sikong Jing stood before the hall, his gaze coldly sweeping over the screaming, writhing servants, then fiercely lifted his head and said, “Who told you I escaped the city?

This is my home, Sikong Jing’s home, why would I flee?”

As soon as he finished speaking, the mother and daughter shuddered.

Su Yun paused, then scornfully said, “Nice words, but I think you were captured by the City Guards and brought back, weren’t you?”

She simply couldn’t believe Sikong Jing truly considered this his home, who in their right mind would care for Su Yuexi?

He must have been arrested and brought back after leaving the city.

Su Yuexi and her mother couldn’t help but look at Sikong Jing, wanting to hear his explanation.

But Sikong Jing just sneered coldly, “I don’t have time for your nonsense.

After I deal with these house servants, I’ll teach you a lesson.”

After that, Sikong Jing looked toward Aunt Li and others, and bellowed, “How do you want to die?”

He was truly enraged.

If he had arrived any later, who knows how Su Yuexi would have been treated, who knows whether her father-in-law Su Zhenglong would have died of rage in his bed.

At this moment his bloodlust surged, he wanted to kill.

Aunt Li finally endured her pain, and viciously replied, “Criminal, you owe money and still want to kill us?”

“Yeah, if he hasn’t paid his debts, we’re naturally going to take things.”

The other house servants sneered as well, bolstered by the fact that they had Miss Su Yun there to back them up.

Ding ding ding…

Amidst the incessant noise of the house servants, gold crystal coins began to appear in Sikong Jing’s hands.

One after another, they scattered onto the ground, producing crisp sounds.

In a flash, all the house servants, including Aunt Li, widened their eyes.

They had never seen so many gold crystal coins before; the whole place immediately quieted down.

“I said I would repay it tenfold, and I definitely will repay it.

Who told you to mess with my family’s belongings?” As the coins hit the floor, Sikong Jing’s tone was icy cold.

Frightened by his terrifying killing intent, Aunt Li and the others suddenly panicked.

A house servant replied with a trembling voice, “You had fled the city, how were we supposed to know you would come back?”

“I said I would repay it today.

If I really hadn’t come back today, you could have robbed us tomorrow.”

“Who told you to start robbing now?”

Sikong Jing’s last sentence was filled with boundless rage, like a divine general descending from the heavens, or a wild beast roaring.

Puff…

The house servants close to Sikong Jing suddenly spat blood, having been injured by the shock.

Suddenly, Sikong Jing reached out and sucked Aunt Li directly into his hand, grasping her neck tightly.

Aunt Li’s body hung in mid-air, struggling desperately.

“Let me go, what are you going to do?

It’s your own fault for not coming back earlier.”

“Release me now and pay ten times the wages, and we’ll consider this settled.”

Hearing this, other house servants gathered around and verbally attacked, all blaming Sikong Jing for coming back too late.

Some even said, “Even if we did rob, what does it matter?

You owed us wages after all.”

Ignoring all the noise, Sikong Jing swept his cold gaze over everyone and said coolly and heartlessly, “Ten times?

No, this time it’s twenty times the wages…

To be exact, I will give each of you two gold crystal coins.”

At that statement, all murmuring in the room ceased instantly, everyone’s eyes widened.

Aunt Li also stopped struggling, her eyes brightening as she asked, “Really?”

This criminal really had no pride, filled with rage yet still offering two gold crystal coins per person, too funny and thrilling.

But then again, what else could a criminal do?

“Of course it’s true.”

Crack…

As Sikong Jing’s voice fell, a crisp sound came from Aunt Li’s neck, which was then twisted and broken.

All the house servants who were still hopeful took frightened steps back, their eyes bulging.

The scene was as quiet as if one could hear a pin drop.

At that moment, Sikong Jing casually threw Aunt Li’s body on the ground.

He then picked up two gold crystal coins and placed them on Aunt Li’s corpse, straightened up, and looked towards the terrified servants with a chilling voice, “Twenty times the wages, the rest is for your funeral expenses.”

Thump…

One by one, the house servants trembled on their feet and heavily sat down on the ground, until someone finally screamed, “You…

you killed Aunt Li!”

The speaker was a middle-aged male house servant who had stolen Mei Xiaofang’s satin fabric three days ago.

“Not just her, I’m going to kill you too.”

With that, Sikong Jing violently lashed out, and the middle-aged male house servant was killed instantly.

Sikong Jing then threw two gold crystal coins onto his corpse.

Flashing and killing, in the blink of an eye, all seven house servants belonging to Su Yuexi’s household were dead!
