16: Chapter 016: Dark Realm Third Level?

No Big Deal!

Su Yang was stunned for quite a while before he realized he was lying on the ground with a sharp knife still at his neck.

But how had he lost?

Sikong Jing’s movements were simply too fast, grasping the knife, drawing it back, then chopping down all in the blink of an eye.

Even Su Zhenglong, once the pride of Yunye City, had not managed to respond in time.

“Criminal, what are you doing?” Su Yun’s voice broke the silence as she charged over.

Smack!

Without turning back, Sikong Jing slapped Su Yun across the face and replied, “What am I doing?

I’m merely giving him a taste of his own medicine.

Su Yang wanted to sever my limbs, so I will sever his.”

With that, Sikong Jing’s gaze fell upon Su Yang’s hands and feet.

“Stop, criminal!”

Su Yun, knocked to the ground, lifted her head and yelled furiously, “If you dare cripple my second brother, you’re as good as dead!”

At these words, even the shocked Su Zhenglong’s expression turned pale as he said, “Ajing, stop now and listen to me.”

Sikong Jing looked over and replied, “Father-in-law, rest assured, since they claimed this to be a duel among the younger generation, even the Patriarch of the Su Family wouldn’t dare to openly do anything to us if I cripple him.”

Sikong Jing was well aware of what Su Zhenglong was worried about.

But it was Su Yang who had challenged him first, and he was the one who had first voiced the desire to cripple him.

Now that he had lost, would Su Yuexi’s grandfather and Su Zhengtao shamelessly retaliate?

“If you cripple Su Yang, they might not punish you outright.”

“But Su Yang has an elder brother named Su Shan who is currently traveling abroad but will return in ten days.”

Su Zhenglong hurriedly explained, “Given his temperament, he will surely challenge you too.”

What he feared most was not Su Zhengtao and Su Xuefeng, but Su Zhengtao’s eldest son, the current heir of the Su Family.

Once he returns, he will also challenge Sikong Jing in the capacity of a younger family member!

It will be a fight to the death, with no mercy shown!

Su Yun also took a deep breath and sneered, “Exactly, my elder brother will be back in ten days.

If you dare cripple my second brother, both you and Su Yuexi will die, and Su Zhenglong won’t be able to protect you.”

Su Yun, full of confidence in her elder brother Su Shan, regained her cold composure.

Su Yuexi also ran up to Sikong Jing’s side, softly persuading him, “Sikong Jing, Su Shan is the treasure of the entire Su Family.

His grandfather would do anything for him; therefore, Su Yang must not be crippled.”

Including, if necessary, wiping out Su Zhenglong’s family.

After pondering for a moment, Sikong Jing asked, “What realm is Su Shan in?”

With a grave expression, Su Zhenglong replied, “When he left home a year ago, he had already entered the Dark Realm.

I’m not sure what realm he is in now, but with his talents, he could at least reach Dark Realm Third Level.”

The Dark Realm and the Bright Realm are two different concepts; even if Sikong Jing defeated Su Yang, he could not bridge the chasm of a Great Realm.

Thus, Su Yang, pinned to the ground, just laughed sinisterly, “Let me go, or my elder brother could crush you with a single finger.”

However, Sikong Jing ignored him and spoke calmly to Su Zhenglong and the others, “Dark Realm Third Level, that’s no problem.”

After finishing, he looked towards the swaggering Su Yang, stepped on the joint of his arm, and then came a clear cracking sound…

A scream shot to the heavens!

Then, with no change in expression, Sikong Jing stepped towards Su Yang’s remaining hand and feet, and in a blink of an eye, Su Yang was completely crippled.

The screams stopped abruptly as he passed out from the pain.

“Ajing, you, you…”

Su Zhenglong stared dumbfounded at the scene, realizing his recent effort to persuade was in vain.

The entire courtyard fell into eerie silence, everyone gaping at Sikong Jing.

Only after several gasps did Su Yun incredulously scream, “Second brother.”

She rushed to Su Yang’s side, only to see the latter’s twisted hands and feet.

Su Yun shouted angrily, “Criminals, Su Yue Xi, just wait to go to Hell.

I am going to tell Grandfather right now…”

After threatening fiercely for a while, Su Yun quickly called a house servant and left with the unconscious Su Yang.

Until the siblings Su Yun disappeared, the courtyard remained eerily silent.

Suddenly, the mother-in-law Mei Xiaofang screamed, “Criminal, are you out of your mind?

Everyone said that disabling Su Yang would have severe consequences.

Why did you still strike?”

She was so furious that her chest heaved up and down, yelling at Sikong Jing like an old mother cat.

However, Sikong Jing just smiled and replied, “Father-in-law, mother-in-law, rest assured, I know what I’m doing.”

He had just married that night; now, as the son-in-law of Su Zhenglong and Mei Xiaofang, he would, of course, consider their feelings.

If he were not certain, Sikong Jing would not have forced the issue.

But Su Shan would not be back until ten days later, and with only the Dark Realm Third Level, it is not to say what level he would reach in ten days, even now he was unafraid to take on a challenge, and could just as well kill.

Thus, for Sikong Jing, disabling Su Yang was really a trivial matter.

“Knowing what you’re doing, you dare say that?”

“Even a child knows how big the gap is between the Bright Realm and the Dark Realm.”

Unfortunately, Mei Xiaofang could not understand Sikong Jing’s confidence, trembling with anger, she said, “Do you think just because you can defeat Su Yang by jumping ranks, you can also beat Su Shan?

You can’t even get close to True Qi of the Dark Realm, how can you win?”

She had to admit that Sikong Jing’s ability to beat Su Yang across ranks was incredible, but it was not without precedent.

However, a Bright Realm defeating a Dark Realm had unheard of in Yunye City.

Even at the Bright Realm Ninth Layer, it was impossible!

“Mother-in-law, I can get close…”

Sikong Jing wanted to explain further, but Mei Xiaofang harshly interrupted, “Get close to what, do you think this is an assassination?

In ten days, it will be the old geezer Su Xuefeng’s birthday celebration, and he will oversee your fair fight.”

“He will also take the opportunity to annihilate us.”

“Our family is already miserable enough; why do you, a criminal, still have to harm us?”

After venting in one breath, Mei Xiaofang was breathless.

Su Yue Xi ran over and could only plead, “Mother, Sikong Jing was just standing up for me, please don’t blame him.”

Although Sikong Jing was impulsive, he indeed allowed them to vent a great deal of pent-up resentment.

“What’s the use of venting?

Before you vent, you should assess your strength; first, we need to stay alive,” Mei Xiaofang said as she flung away Su Yue Xi’s hand, adding despairingly, “Tonight, you are not allowed to share a room.”

“Ah?” Su Yue Xi involuntarily opened her mouth wide.

By then, Mei Xiaofang had already helped Su Zhenglong and turned back to reply, “This criminal will definitely be killed by Su Shan in ten days.

I don’t want my daughter’s pure body to be defiled by him.”

“If this weren’t a marriage granted by the Lord of Yunzhou, I’d drive him out right now.

He’s infuriating me to death.”

The marriage granted by the Lord of Yunzhou was like shackles, firmly locking Sikong Jing and Su Yue Xi together.

Unless Sikong Jing died, the Su Family could not escape this cage.

“Alas…”

Su Zhenglong also let out a sigh, ultimately remaining silent as he returned to his room.

His injuries were also like shackles; his days of glory were no longer.

The indifference of his father and the Su Residence, the ugliness of his daughter—all bore down on him.

He had thought his daughter had finally found a good husband…

but his impulsivity would eventually bring fatal disaster.

Disabling Su Yang’s limbs, indulging in a moment of satisfaction, would also provoke the towering anger of his father, Su Xuefeng.
