Berserk God of War

3: Chapter 003: Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison 3: Chapter 003: Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison As once the Invincible God General of the Great Shang Dynasty, Sikong Jing could freely browse through the books in the Emperor’s Vault.

During the chaos among the Seven Countries, he specifically studied various poisons to defeat the Wandu Country.

Among them was a record of the Crimson Spider Poison, which matched exactly the symptoms Su Yuexi was currently experiencing.

That is to say, Su Yuexi was not born ugly, but someone had poisoned her.

Sikong Jing’s dominance made Su Yuexi cry and plead, “Don’t look, please don’t look anymore.”

Releasing his hold, Sikong Jing realized he had been too reckless and apologetically said, “I’m sorry, I will find a way for your face…”

Before he could finish, Su Yuexi, crying, interrupted him, “The person who should be saying sorry is me, for frightening you.”

With those words, Su Yuexi retied her veil and ran out crying.

She thought the dumbstruck expression on Sikong Jing’s face when he recalled the Crimson Spider Poison was because her face had terrified him.

The bitterness in her heart was imaginable!

Sikong Jing extended his hand, what he was about to say was that he would find a cure for the Crimson Spider Poison, but he suddenly realized that, in his current state, obtaining the antidote from Wandu Country would be no easy feat.

For the time being, he should not give Su Yuexi any hope.

Returning to the front of the thatched hut, Sikong Jing muttered to himself, “Blood of Ten Thousand Beasts, the Beast Blood boils?”

His gaze suddenly intense, he forcefully lifted the thatch.

Beneath the thatch, on the ground covered with dirt, a monstrous skull constructed by intricate strokes became visible, each line drawn in crimson, emitting a faint scent of blood.

Sikong Jing crouched down, gently touched the monstrous skull, and determined, “This is my blood.

The blood I spat out awakened this mysterious monster’s skull, coalescing the Ten Thousand Beast Blood Pearl, granting me a new life.”

Hum!

Suddenly, the monster’s skull drawn with his fresh blood opened its eyes, staring right into Sikong Jing’s.

They were a pair of tyrannical pupils!

Once again, a profound and deep voice reached Sikong Jing’s ears, “Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, from now on, you shall guard the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison.”

As the voice dissipated into the ether,

The blood lines forming the monster’s skull also began to drift and rise, wispy like smoke…

Eventually, the blood lines congealed into a tiny monster skull badge, which with a peep, burrowed into Sikong Jing’s forehead.

Boom!

Another explosion rang in Sikong Jing’s head; the thatched hut vanished, and his consciousness arrived at a strange place.

The world was dark and desolate, the land parched, stretching endlessly.

Sikong Jing seemed to be floating in Yun Chuan, overlooking this lifeless world, wondering why it was called the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison.

It was utterly devoid of any demon beasts.

“He has arrived, the new Master of Ten Thousand Beasts has appeared.”

A deep voice suddenly resounded, and the dark land seemed to roll up like surging waves, accompanied by excited roars.

“We are saved, at last, we are saved.”

“Haha, ten thousand years, I have been imprisoned in the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison for a full ten thousand years, but finally, the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts has arrived.”

The excited voices shook the ground, breaking through the sky, making it appear as if the land itself was boiling.

But in the next second, the excited voices abruptly stopped.

A voice full of boundless fury shook the heavens and the earth, “Why, why is the new Master of Ten Thousand Beasts a human?”

Suddenly, the mood of the ground shifted dramatically, from excitement to turmoil, then to furious agitation!

“This must be a conspiracy by the Five Heavenly Emperors, sending a human to be the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, planning to slaughter us all.”

“I will not accept this!

Five Heavenly Emperors, shameless scoundrels.”

“Kill him, kill this human.”

As waves of angry voices swelled, the dark land erupted like a landslide and a tsunami.

A brilliant light soared upward, a Golden Divine Dragon burst forth from the ground, breaking through the sky, aiming to tear Sikong Jing, who was between the clouds, into pieces.

But the next second, a rushing sound emerged, and the Golden Divine Dragon’s charge halted abruptly, harshly pulled midair.

Even with his courageous heart, Sikong Jing was still shocked by the scene before him.

He saw huge chains binding the Golden Divine Dragon, nine of them connected to the ground.

No matter how the dragon struggled, it couldn’t break free, and the sound of chains echoed through the heavens and the earth!

“Human, I will devour you.”

A second colossal beast broke through the ground, a pitch-black giant tiger with a gaping mouth seemed capable of swallowing the sky and earth.

Sikong Jing shuddered again, uttering in a low voice, “Black Prison Swallowing Sky Tiger.”

He had seen its totem in the Great Shang Imperial Library, but it was also firmly bound by chains, unable to advance an inch.

“Roar, roar, roar…”

Then, beast after beast surged into the sky, in an instant the sky was filled with colossal beasts, countless, some Sikong Jing recognized from totems, but ninety-nine percent were demon beasts he had never even heard of.

At this moment, Sikong Jing finally understood.

Why this place was called the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison, because it imprisoned the most terrifying demon beasts in the world.

And he, a human, had inexplicably become the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts.
