Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 803: Chapter 599 Going Home Satisfied

In such a small space, Hill had collected two, and he almost thought he had arrived too late. But fate had always been kind to him, and he finally found a medium-sized half-plane slowly forming among a pile hidden in a large accumulation of star dust.

Hill immediately perked up and directly linked his spiritual power to this half-plane, rushing in without hesitation.

The laws within the half-plane were still boiling; no wonder it was a space opened by Primordial Power. Though the laws were weak, they were very complete.

Hill happily marked the half-plane and released a large amount of materials from his pendant, letting them float in mid-air.

Although it couldn’t be called creation from nothing, this approach to crafting a half-plane indeed carried some significance.

Hill waved his hand and threw out a relatively large Sun Crystal Stone he had obtained from Gerns; his control of the fire element laws was relatively weak, so he could only skate by, utilizing the Power of the Sun to ignite the source of the fire element.

The Sun Crystal Stone rose higher and higher in the half-plane but never ignited. Hill hesitated for a while, then tossed in a feather from Lansendel’s tail.

As a result, the crystal stone quickly exploded into a ball of red light.

The fire element spring established in this way also confirmed that in Hill’s half-plane, the laws could not produce evil fire. Even if the elements were balanced, his half-plane would still repel the existence of negative energy.

The Evil Faction entering would likely be attacked by the Arrows of the Sun in the first moment.

For Hill, this wasn’t really a bad thing; in fact, it saved him some trouble.

Even without the Sunfire, Hill would still establish various arrays to expel evil.

Hill directed the Earth Crystal Stone and different minerals and metals to form a continent resembling a spherical dodecahedron; the earth system law within the half-plane was very obedient, and the continent quickly took shape.

The Ring of Winter on Hill’s hand flashed with light, and the Sea of Elements swiftly inverted.

The water element laws within the half-plane almost jubilantly rushed forward and quickly plunged into the sea. Upon forming, it sensed the purest ocean, and even thereafter, the half-plane’s water would never face pollution issues.

The entrance to the opened Sea of Elements by Hill was not large, with waterfall-like flows estimated to submerge most of the dodecahedron’s continent before the spell ended.

Hill planned to convert the more apparent facets on the upper levels into a structure resembling a continental shelf, which would appear very natural.

Hill touched the Silvermoon Shard in his hand, feeling a bit dazed. This wasn’t from Gerns’ world.

Though Teraxil Silvermoon never encountered any major events, her minor issues on the moon never ceased. Even the Moon Halo, the divine artifact, was lost, so although Teraxil Silvermoon shards were precious, there were still several pieces in Earth Bear’s warehouse.

These items weren’t generally useful for Earth Bear, and seeing Hill liked them, he gave them all to him.

But Hill had never been willing to use them.

The main reason is that he still envisioned future large-scale half-planes!

Hill sneaked out the smallest piece; although this half-plane had little negative energy, it wasn’t entirely absent. If not carefully controlled, letting these energies be scorched by the Power of the Sun could easily cause turmoil within the half-plane.

The best method was to transform this negative energy into shadow illusion power controlled by the Silvermoon.

Speaking of which, mist and illusions were Silvermoon’s innate divinity! Suren, having been missing this long, how could she watch a mysterious goddess occupy her place without intending to reclaim it?

That Mist Goddess actually knew that once Suren fully regained herself, even maintaining weak divine power would be thanks to Suren’s mercy. Therefore, she kept hiding, afraid that even if Suren didn’t mind, one of her allies might conveniently strike her.

Within Suren’s allies, there is the most threatening Lansendel, who might impulsively carry out any action.

But the one truly hostile to this Lady of the Mist is Shaer.

To Shaer, it was she who worked hard to eliminate Celene, turning her into the useless Suren she is now. Therefore, the divinity Celene lost should all belong to Shaer.

These gods, who took advantage of her shadow-related divine power to flee, once found, she would surely kill and devour them all!

Thus, now not only do All Gods, but those who know the matter, believe that eventually, the Lady of the Mist will be devoured by Shaer, becoming one of her aspects.

Well... even though Shaer didn’t succeed in the end, Suren, thanks to Shaer’s diligent help, reverted back to Celene and regained all her powers.

Hill considered these matters but didn’t stop his hands. He held up the magic book filled with Celene’s power and activated the Silvermoon Shard with spiritual power.

Sure enough, the magic book’s light quickly enlarged, and a silver-blue moonlight directly enveloped that shard, slowly rising to the air.

As the powerful power of the Silvermoon spread, the nearby Sun gradually slanted westward, directly sinking into the seawater.

Hill astonishingly used spiritual power to observe and finally discovered that the Sun with its light retracted was covered with a peculiar white shell, slowly moving eastward in the seawater.

Hill became very interested in that white shell but researched for a long time before confirming that it was ice.

The Sun formed thick ice when plunging into the sea with rapidly dropping temperatures!

Hill was utterly bewildered.

Although he summoned the Sun and Moon, he truly couldn’t figure out how to make them produce the alternation of day and night. Yet, the laws inherently knew how to operate.

But Hill completely couldn’t understand why the laws would form this logic.

Hill sighed, took out the crystal fan, and summoned twelve tornadoes, allowing them to move randomly across the entire demi-plane.

The wind element laws quickly integrated into these storms.

And Hill could feel the wind beginning to change in varying degrees.

No matter how intense the storms over the sea or the continent became, the place where he stood only had a gentle breeze.

His demi-plane had begun to take shape.

Then there was an important matter of opening a door.

Generally, such a demi-plane would develop several interdimensional portals.

Hill planned to fix this demi-plane inside an otherworldly whale, so it was best to place the portal at the center of the continent.

For safety, apart from the dimensional gate leading to the large demi-plane in the future, all other space fissures should be completely sealed.

Hill addressed it slightly, intending to seal it completely, which would require a lot of time and resources, to be dealt with later.

Now, he could do the final thing.

Hill left through the remaining space passage and returned to the stellar realm.

By this time, the magic ship flying slowly behind him had also arrived where Hill was, and once he sealed this demi-plane, he could head straight home.

As for large demi-planes, such rare treasures, once formed, would be particularly grand in scale, unlike the quieter, stealthy middle-to-small-sized ones, and they couldn’t be sealed within anything.

As soon as Hill arrived at this place, he realized it was impossible for them to exist.

He took out his only 1-meter-square space crystal box and consumed most of his spiritual power to seal the slowly growing demi-plane into it. In the future, the demi-plane could slowly alter its topography, even the ocean currents, on its own.

When Hill returned, he would still have to carve out several grand rivers traversing the continent, including underground dark rivers, after which he wouldn’t need to manage anything; the demi-plane would grow on its own.

And then, he just needed to wait for Purwell to sort itself out.

No, he’d also need to prepare a sufficiently large imitation leather; otherwise, if it’s all encased in metal, the otherworldly whale wouldn’t look so lively.

Hill gently patted his precious box, hoping that the next time he saw William, he would have more and better giant space crystals.

Hill, in a cheerful mood, returned to the magic ship. Although two days were spent on the road, there was plenty of time left, and he could easily make it roundabout to pick up that unfortunate group of slaves.

His pleasant mood lasted only until Dragon Rock Star.

His ship was easily recognizable, so when the white multi-mast sailboat was seen, the swarm of magic ships outside Dragon Rock Star instantly made way, which Hill didn’t find strange.

But when he saw his ship docked in the port, his face changed, and the trembling steward gave him a bad feeling.

Hill first thought about those elves getting into trouble.

So he didn’t move and simply demanded that the steward hand over the people he entrusted Dragon Rock Star with their custody.

The steward virtually took off running.

Hill frowned, finding his behavior somewhat abnormal, instead seemingly eager for Hill to find those slaves as soon as possible.

This meant that whatever happened, Dragon Rock Star bore no responsibility, but these merchants feared Hill’s wrath.

He relaxed back on the sofa, thinking the elves should be alright.

Hill quickly understood why.

Within the dozens of slaves gathered by his ship, only a dozen wished to return with him to Toril.

The remaining thirty-plus had found patrons over the past few days, kneeling on the port, pleading with Hill to grant them freedom.

Hill was nearly amused in anger.

These slaves, whether male or female, were young and beautiful enough; otherwise, the half-succubus would have no interest in them.

Although not much in Toril, in the stellar realm, they were indeed rare commodities.

Hill glanced over; the elves, including the three half-elves, stood by the ship, their faces full of disdain, having likely argued frequently with them and even fought their patrons over the past two days.

The magic suppression devices on the elves had long been removed by him.

There was nothing more to say; people willing to rely on beauty for survival exist in every world, and Hill had no intention of interfering in others’ ways of living, as these merchants on Dragon Rock Star merely enticed with profit, not coercion.

Hill waved his hand, and a section of the ship’s side quickly turned into a gangway connected to the port: ”This is your life, it has nothing to do with me, choose as you will. For those wanting to return, board the ship!”
