Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 802: Chapter 598: The 1st Harvest

Hill had no interest in taking prisoners, not just because they all deserved it, but because what he really wanted was to silence them.

He truly had no interest in getting involved in this huge trouble on the surface. He absolutely didn’t want to know if there was some behind-the-scenes manipulator, whether it was the order of that Eternal Queen of the Githyanki star pirates or the will of some bigwig in Mark City.

Having stayed in Toril for so long, he knew one thing very clearly: with the favor shown by the Elf Deity System towards the Sorrowful Queen on Eternity Island, they would absolutely not fail to search for the traces of those missing Princesses and Princes.

Yet there was still no news at all.

The Elf Deity System has several deities with divinatory powers, although most can only prophesy about the different races of elves themselves.

But the Princes and Princesses of Eternity Island have very pure bloodlines, so logically, even if they couldn’t find the exact location, they should at least be able to determine life and death or a general direction.

The Queen, whom the deities had anticipated for many years, ultimately choosing to abandon all responsibilities and search on her own, was probably also completely despairing, as both the gods she believed in and the people she loved could no longer give her any sense of security.

Anyway, of her several children whose deaths have already been confirmed, they could all stay by the side of their father in The Avando Dominion, so she had no need to worry.

The royal family of the Queen on Eternity Island was indeed very unfortunate; if helping them was all it took, Hill would not refuse.

But Hill didn’t think he had the capability to uncover and stop this conspiracy that had been brewing for centuries.

He had always been a cold-hearted person, unwilling to pay such a large price for strangers.

Bringing back that letter and the elf spy to Prince Ramriel, the future king of the Moon Elves, was already the greatest kindness he could offer.

The puppets carrying storage boxes soon finished clearing out the fortress.

All the defensive measures there had already turned to ashes in the endless thunder, including some common-level and low-rank resources. What remained had some value; otherwise, Hill wouldn’t want it.

Actually, the most valuable thing here should have been the flesh and blood of the Star Giant Beast, but Hill couldn’t collect it. Killing a dragon beast and using or consuming it were two vastly different things.

As Terry’s close friend, there was no way he could do that, no matter how low this beast’s intelligence was.

As long as it’s an intelligent creature, any who consume the flesh and blood of their kind are from the Evil Faction, even if forced to, and the same goes for dragons.

Even though many dragons don’t care if low-rank dragon beasts are consumed by humans, they actually can perceive it.

And such people, no matter how friendly they appear in front of dragons, could never become close friends with them.

Even if dragons spread their seed everywhere, having all sorts of offspring with no intelligence, when you treat their bloodline as food, how could you possibly still be friends?

Even the most chaotic dragons understand that if you can eat their offspring, you can eat them.

Hill didn’t want to end the friendly relationship between himself and Terry, but he also wouldn’t do much more. Let destiny decide whether the dragon beast’s corpse becomes food for passing pirates or is dragged back by a magic ship to be turned into a large strange object!

Glancing once more at that metal fortress, Hill gently raised his hand. To him, refining metal products had become instinctual since the Goddess of the Earth fully awakened.

There were many things he couldn’t transform, not because he couldn’t, but because the formation of metal, including gemstone, requires many necessary conditions. For Hill to find all these conditions in time was not worth it compared to going out himself to search for the mineral veins.

Moreover, the consumption of magic power was much higher than that of pure stone materials, making it entirely not worth it.

Anyway, the Earth Bear, standing on the land, could smell what mineral veins were in a thousand-mile radius, and Hill could now do the same.

Thus, Hill understood why the God of Earth Elementals Gulanba was amiable towards him, as they indeed shared many similar traits.

The fortress appeared to shine with silver light, leading Hill to believe there was a considerable amount of mithril and silver within it! Surprisingly, most of it was iron.

No wonder the lightning effect was so strong.

Watching the Ship Spirit direct the puppets to retrieve all those metal blocks, Hill bowed his head to assess the quantity of fine iron blocks.

Except for that activated lightning, it seemed he might have made a bit of a loss this time!

With a sigh from Hill, the magic ship continued towards its destination.

Leaving a great surprise for those half-pirate ships that had followed from Dragon Rock Star.

These part-time pirate merchants, of course, didn’t believe they had the ability to take down this Archmage. To know, that half-succubus slave trader had been roaming rampantly in Mark City and Stellar Realm for many years.

Everyone understood how terrifying star realm pirates were, and even for a half-succubus, it only spurred more desires.

Half-succubus was a creature many human beings were willing to pay a high price to purchase.

Yet when countless tempted pirates ended up with no burial place, and even the Githyanki treated the half-succubus with respect, who still wouldn’t know that this was some bigwig’s forbidden possession in Mark City?

In the end, it was all gone in a single flame, although the fire was so large that even the asteroids near Dragon Rock Star saw it.

With such a significant figure, these merchants certainly dared not make a move, but many people were immensely curious about what he was seeking in the Stellar Realm.

A Mage capable of using that Radiant Orb was certainly of a Kind Alignment, and as long as they were not competing with the Archmage for it, picking up some leftovers shouldn’t cause any issues, right?

With a lucky mindset, the magical ship captains unanimously lined up behind.

Compared to Hill, who didn’t quite understand the rules of the star realm and who was barging around recklessly, they knew how to identify ships that had passed along the navigational route; Hill’s ship was quite special, and they could keep their distance while tracking it.

When Hill started the fight, they of course noticed and almost turned around to flee; after all, that was the strongest group of pirates among the Githyanki!

They had even seized Legendary Magic Ships, and even the infamous Bat Ghost Ship within the asteroid belt had been driven to flee in defeat by them!

However, no one expected the result to be like this...

The Magical Ship Captains were a bit hesitant to follow.

After all, wasn’t the best prey already right in front of them?

Although they didn’t understand why the Archmage wasn’t interested in the Dragon Beast, who cared? He didn’t even want the Dragon Blood!

Such a huge Star Beast body!

Just extracting a drop of Dragon Blood was enough to achieve either upgrading to a Legendary Body or earning enough money to retire comfortably!

Now was certainly not the time for the Magical Ship Captains to unite against Hill; this Dragon Beast was large, but extracting even a few drops was impressive. They now found themselves at odds, with each ship starting to drift apart, a significant battle imminent.

Although Hill wasn’t aware of what happened next, he could guess.

He truly didn’t understand the various Laws of the Stellar Realm, but placing a few warning markers along his path was something he knew how to do.

The Stellar Realm looked boundless, but the navigation lanes were just that wide, requiring hardly any effort from Hill.

Once Hill discovered so many ships following, he understood why; thus he was also well aware that not a whole carcass of the Red Dragon Bloodline Stellar Behemoth could be left behind.

But what did that have to do with him? He hadn’t lifted a finger.

Hill smiled, for he truly wasn’t some kind-hearted person.

At least now, those Magic Ships probably didn’t dare to follow him anymore.

After two days of lonely voyaging, Hill’s ship finally reached a chaotic battlefield.

One could even see the golden glow of The Avando Dominion here, but that was the Outer Planes, and he could see the flowing Milky Way at the edge of the Stellar Realm.

Hill had no plans to seek out Coron’s True form; he flew out of the Magic Ship and began his meticulous search.

Tampas’ fury...it was truly immense! Several small Stars that Hill swiftly flew past had been shattered, making it impossible even to form small Half-planes.

Hill pondered about the Red Knight’s Nation and the Country of War in Felunryel; he had found them far too distant to visit, but the battle priests of Tampas surely witnessed something remarkable.

Combining the Red Dragon’s self-indulgence to startle even AO with Bane’s underhandedness, one truly couldn’t predict the scene!

Hill suddenly recalled that the Undead Tribe hadn’t even reached those countries before Ferun’s forces arrived, and those two nations should have been recaptured by Tampas’ battle priests themselves.

Because of Bane’s presence, William hadn’t planned on competing with them.

Fortunately, otherwise, given Tampas’ pettiness, the Undead Tribe in Ferun would certainly have been harassed.

He flew over a few more Stars before spotting a slightly different trace.

This seemed to be someone interfering, blocking Bane’s escape for a moment, but without much entanglement.

Hill sensed the remaining Divine Power on the fractured Stars and was unsurprised to find it was Tom.

Be it due to the eternal feud with Bane or for the sake of that rumored lover, the Red Knight, Tom truly had reasons to intervene.

But at that time, AO still required Bane’s existence, and the overly loyal Tom couldn’t act as recklessly as Tampas.

Such intercepting was already a very rare move for this God of Loyalty.

Hill didn’t care how complex his heart might be; currently, he was brimming with energy!

Tom’s power directly derived from AO, closer to the Primordial Power compared to other Deities, otherwise, he wouldn’t have been that formidable, even able to create such a fearsome existence like the Wanderer.

If he made a move, creating something like a Half-plane was quite easy, as the Primordial Power readily induced space waves.

Hill couldn’t help but rub his hands, beginning his careful search in the area.

Hill quickly made a discovery, but it was a small Half-plane that had already transformed into an independent small space.

Hill solemnly took out a half-meter square box crafted from a whole piece of Space Crystal from his pendant, attempting to guide the Half-plane into the box.

Even for Hill, he only had a dozen or so such large Space Crystals, which he usually didn’t have the heart to use.

But this was a Half-plane!

Even if Hill didn’t use it, a portable space for gardening would undoubtedly interest William.

Perhaps this time, he might even trade it for one of those over 3-meter-tall Crystals known as the Throne of the God of Time and Space!
