Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 417: Chapter 216: Annihilating the Enemy, Turn to the Dwarves!

Fran’s face darkened with a layer of frost, revealing a piercing chill.

Such a high-level demon could never enter this newborn world.

Although he looked down on his own world somewhat, Fran knew the Bottomless Abyss would not be interested in this place.

Fran couldn’t help but raise his head and shout loudly, ”Elven God King! How foolish can you be to bring in so many demons?”

Flashes of lightning and roars of thunder filled the starry sky as the Elven God King cursed loudly.

However, no one paid attention to him.

If his mission were successful, it would be because Coron calculated clearly, not because he had any ability.

If it weren’t for Coron backing him, someone no one dared to provoke, the elves would probably have been completely doomed by now.

”You actually didn’t think I came in through the Abyssal Gate?” Babu’s voice was shrill and harsh, like that of a male duck’s quack eight octaves high.

Hill frowned, tempted to cover his ears.

Fran, however, didn’t mind; he was quite willing to talk more with this creature to measure whether this world was so unlucky to have caught the attention of an Abyssal Lord:

”As Lady Karula, I would not stoop to opening a gate for other demons.

The Spider Queen is not so altruistic, nor would she guide the way for minions of other Abyssal Lords.

Besides, the Goddess of the Spring, though selfish and malevolent, would not likely trust the words of the Elf Queen.

But it is possible for an independent druid who walks alone outside.

Corrupt druids are indeed rare!”

”Ah! Great Lord of the Abyss!” Demon Babu exclaimed, ”At first, I only wanted to send these elves to my master’s altar. After they dared to get involved in the battle between the Star Spirits and my master!

Back then, I was only a devout druid of my master!

It was my master, who, while fighting the Star Spirits, passed by and saw me grievously wounded and full of sorrow, saving my life! He showed me the way!

I must prepare a grand ceremony for my great lord.

I thought about letting this trash kill each other first, then blood sacrifice the spaceship transformed from the World Tree, my master would surely reward me.

Hehe, lucky for them, they discovered a new world.”

Only one demon dares to openly claim to be the Lord of the Abyss.

Because his palace is called the Abyss.

Demon Prince Dimogogen.

Hill clenched his fists tightly and turned his head to listen carefully to this demon’s words.

Demons, creatures full of lies and deceit.

Hill focused intently, hoping to discern the truth from his words.

Now, Hill only had enough mana left for defense, quietly squatting in the study, not planning to step out.

”My lord has no interest in this world, but is very willing to accept soul offerings. The more twisted, the better. Hehe!” Demon Babu laughed arrogantly, ”Unexpectedly, I saw a doomed... new world.

With a new world, I can offer more sacrifices to my lord, and I am quite willing to wait a while!

For hundreds of thousands of years, I have done very well!

Very few under my lord’s command could successfully advance to the rank of high-level Babu demon!

And the reward I have received is enough for me to ascend to the utmost!”

Fran’s lips twisted, ”Demon Prince! He wouldn’t care about the fate of a failure!”

”So what if I die here?” laughed Demon Babu triumphantly, ”Hundreds of thousands of years! I have offered untold sacrifices to my master! Twisted! Evil! Bloody! My master endowed me with great rewards! He was even willing to save my life by seeking the Spider Goddess Queen!

Then he would certainly not give up on me!

Even if you kill me, I will be reborn in my master’s Abyssal Palace! And then! Come again through the Abyssal Gate!

And wipe you all out!”

Fran ordered coldly with a sneer, ”What are you waiting for! Let’s do it together!

Don’t be afraid! The Demon Prince won’t take matters into his own hands! It’s just a demon invasion. We won’t lose!”

Hill gritted his teeth, his Mental Sea trembling, slowly merging all the Ice Tornados into one.

He followed closely behind Fran, directing this huge Ice Tornado towards Demon Babu.

Even Draculus, despite being bombarded with attacks from the God of Smithing, fired endless Thunder towards this side.

Hill’s sandstorm swept directly towards the demons following him.

Especially that Feruccio Betti.

If not for Draculus’s explosion that sent everyone who had colluded with demons to the skies, they almost carried out a grand blood sacrifice, and this world would have been utterly doomed.

Even the recently closed Abyssal Gate of the world would have immediately reopened.

Demon Prince Dimogogen had little interest in human faithful, but blood sacrifices were his favorite.

Devotees of deities, pure souls, all sent to his altar would please him.

He preferred a great slaughter, the bloodier the better.

If this Babu demon had truly managed to utterly destroy the Mage Association, this world would have descended into complete apocalypse!

Even the Half-Elf Demigod, currently entangled in battle with Karula, angrily broke free from the giant spider, his scimitar imbued with Divine Power, slashing through the air towards the demon.

They did not know who this individual was, but they were certain he was an Elf Druid.

An elf who had fled to this world with his people back in the day.

By a narrow margin, they nearly became the hundreds of thousands of elves blood sacrificed.

The Elven God King in the starry sky had also stopped his roaring, and his suddenly silent demeanor made Hill involuntarily look up.

Demon Babu’s defensive power was truly strong, and his speed was extremely fast. Although he relied on his innate speed for instant movement, capable only of short-distance darting back and forth, he was indeed able to avoid many attacks.

Even a longsword nearly came out, almost injuring a Legendary Law that was going all out against Feruccio Betti.

The Legendary figure who had fallen into demonhood was completely surrounded by Hill’s sandstorm, roaring furiously as he attempted to escape.

This Legendary Law, flying in the air and wholly focused on pursuing Feruccio Betti, nearly met his own demise.

It was Fran who saved him.

Hill paid no attention to these things, only the massive Ice Tornado swirling around Demon Babu.

It made the demon completely unable to stand firm.

If one were careless and got caught in the tornado, they would be slowed down for a while.

The others would take this opportunity to launch a violent attack.

No one was in a hurry.

In fact, many people understood that the life level of demons was higher than that of humans in this world.

It was even on par with that of deities.

Yet the people of this world can only ascend slowly.

Even at the stage of a Legendary Law, one still couldn’t compare with the Great Demon.

But that didn’t mean the demon was invincible, it just meant it would take a bit more effort to kill him.

Those who had become Legendary Laws, no matter how irritable they appeared, couldn’t possibly be without reason.

That’s why so many mages felt humiliated by the guy who willingly became a demon.

Whatever the reason, it made the mages feel too ashamed to show their faces.

So, apart from William, actually most mages had their main target on the demon that Feruccio Betti had turned into.

That was also the reason why Demon Babu could still flee.

Hill suddenly looked up, mentally connecting with the Element Lords and requesting that they back off immediately.

Almost simultaneously as the Element Lords retreated, an arrow, with the power to breach the world’s defenses, was shot toward Demon Babu’s location, carrying with it a formidable Holy Power.

Many deities watching from outside the Starry Sky must have been paying attention to this place.

The Sun God reacted the quickest, taking advantage of the crack made by the Divine King, scattering a swath of golden light directly through it.

Then came the watery Moonlight.

Thereafter, a silver-white lance made of the power of space and time.

And then there was no thereafter; although the World Will was slumbering, the rift was quickly repaired.

Such a crack that permitted the power of deities to pass through wasn’t something any deity could easily utilize.

And it came at a great cost.

But the Elven God King didn’t care; it just meant that a Divine Artifact couldn’t be used for a short time.

The price was one he could afford.

The arrow seemed to have a guidance system, pinning Demon Babu to the ground regardless of how he dodged, making him immobile.

Then the sky rained down with golden sunlight, forcing Demon Babu to wail in direct exposure.

This was the most pure Divine Power of the Sun God, which once unleashed, He Himself couldn’t retract.

The silver Moonlight immediately immobilized the other demons, suddenly preventing them from moving.

The lance, upon touching the ground, fragmented into countless spatial rifts.

They surged towards all the demons.

Hill bared his teeth, remarking on the terrifying power.

When William used his spatial divine power, he simply caused the spaces of the Main World to intersect, resulting in physical dissection.

But for the God of Time and Space, behind those spatial rifts lay countless peculiar spaces.

It was unclear what world the God of Time and Space had connected with, but it all felt very strange.

Every time these spatial rifts passed through the demons, they took with them chunks of demonic flesh, returning directly to their own world.

There was no blood and flesh flying about the scene, but the demons’ bodies suddenly lost much of their flesh in an instant, with very little blood spillage.

The bones of these demons were directly exposed to the sunlight, instantly losing the power to resist, and they lay on the ground wailing.

That included Feruccio Betti.

Lady Karula cursed out loud, ”You’re lucky!” and gave up chasing the few half-elf demigods, vanishing into the air instantly.

Hill tried hard to observe, but couldn’t discern how she disappeared.

He could only give up and lean against the window, basking in the sun.

Hill enjoyed the warm feeling on his body and the dew that had fallen on his soul.

He was in a very good mood.

His Mental Sea, which was almost dried up, was rapidly recovering.

However, William leaped out to stop the God of Smithing who was also trying to flee, ”That armor on Demon Babu, did you make it?”

”That’s right,” said the God of Smithing nervously as he glanced at William, ”What’s the problem with an Evil God making equipment for demons?”

”You don’t have that ability!” William retorted uncompromisingly, ”That’s a power reserved for the Great Demon Lord, you’re not that strong.”

The God of Smithing roared, ”What do you know! I have my own power!”

”Which strong deity’s arsenal did the Dwarves steal?” William mused to himself, ”Not just that broken hammer behind you?”

”Dwarves have our own path! It wasn’t stolen!”

The God of Smithing swung his hammer at William and with his entourage, escaped once more.

William didn’t stop him this time.
