Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 416: Chapter 215 The Shame of the Mage, Demon Babu!

Fran’s hostility toward Karula was not significant.

Although her main purpose was to make sure the Elven God King and the others had a hard time, it also caused a lot of harm to humans.

But she indeed slowed down these foreign elves’ pace of integrating into this world.

Giving humans a chance to catch their breath.

The enemy of an enemy may not be a friend, but to some extent, it’s best to avoid becoming an enemy oneself.

Therefore, Fran’s attitude toward Karula was still quite good.

However, the most important thing was that Fran probably didn’t know how to kill her yet.

After she vaporized just now, she completely blended into the air.

If she truly wanted to escape, Hill knew he would definitely not be able to find her.

Seeing Fran’s mild manner, you would know that he probably finds it difficult too.

This one must be one of the twelve great maids of Goddess Rose. Ordinary Wax Melt Demons aren’t this powerful.

Hill thought for a long time and finally only came up with one method.

To completely seal her with Space Magic as in a so-called seal.

Then send her into the starry sky to see if the Sun God could burn her alive.

But doing that would be completely offending Rose.

Rose simply didn’t want to waste her power in such a small world.

It doesn’t mean she doesn’t have the ability to break through the Wall of the World.

Therefore, as long as this one doesn’t harm the world, Fran could only turn a blind eye.

Moreover, judging by Karula’s behavior, although she really wanted to drag this world into the abyss and make it a part of Rose’s Divine Realm, she did not intend to become an enemy of all deities in the world just yet.

Probably because the task Rose gave her wasn’t about increasing followers.

Wax Demons of this kind, created by Rose, are her most loyal subordinates.

Their lifelong goal is to fulfill Rose’s will.

Of course, Rose also paid them great attention and was even willing to confront the Great Demon Lord directly for them.

So such creatures, aside from their own Main God, disdain all other demons, not to mention elves or humans.

In the Bottomless Abyss, they’re the sort despised by many.

She must have been with these elves from the start, even infiltrating the elven high ranks.

Hill was increasingly convinced that the Elven God King must indeed be Coron’s own offspring.

Such high-level Wax Melt Demons; Rose didn’t have many of them at hand.

”Then show me!” Fran said casually, sitting in the chair, ”I have great respect for Goddess Rose!”

”You wouldn’t dare!” Karula scoffed, ”My lord would be willing to accept your offerings! Although a male, he possesses enough wisdom.

Compared to those brainless things, he is much stronger!”

”Don’t talk about the impossible! Come back to me when you’ve tricked me into the evil faction!” Fran spoke calmly, ”Since you’ve been sent to walk the material world, you should know better than to speak of impossibilities.”

”Hmph!” Karula snorted, ”Ignorant human! You have no understanding of my master’s greatness!”

”I still want to see your true face, you know! I’ve heard about it for a long time, but I can’t imagine it. The world of demons is too unfamiliar to me,” Fran said, ignoring the proselytizing woman. He must be crazy to worship Rose.

Knowing that he’s a future deity and still able to speak such words without hesitation, the Wax Melt Demon really seems to be completely brainwashed crazy.

”To ensure my appearance in the material world remains unchanged, my master has personally sealed my true form to stabilize the other three forms,” Karula didn’t mind Fran’s gossip.

Both knew whom Fran wanted to aggravate.

Wax Demons, though also chaotic and evil, are skilled at dealing with people.

They even like to make friends or fall in love.

Honestly, if you only look at intelligence and capability, the Elven God King might not be worthy of this master of intrigue trained by Rose herself.

”To be saddled with such a waste, that must indeed be hard on you!” Fran sighed lightly, ”They’re here, do you want to leave first?”

Sneering, Karula summoned back the Blue Crystal and coldly said, ”I’ve done everything your lord asked of me. If you haven’t found a route to escape, it’s only your own incompetence to blame.”

She didn’t care about the eyes focused on her, the eight legs twanged as she leaped into the air, heading towards the position of the Half-Elf Demigod, ”The mission has failed! I can only take your lives to please my master now!”

”So, the deaths of so many Half-Elf Demigods among the elves and Moon Elves are related to you, huh!” Fran sighed helplessly as he watched the large spider leap to meet the Half-Elf Demigods coming to kill her.

If the task for other Wax Demon Maids was to find new worlds and new followers for Rose, the mission of this one might primarily be to kill all elves and make the Elven God King’s life difficult, right?

Fran felt that although she was powerful, she didn’t have the capability to kill the Elven God King.

And Rose did not make a move either.

The Blue Crystal around Karula’s waist is Rose’s Divine Artifact.

If Rose truly wanted to kill the God King, all she had to do was sacrifice this artifact.

But having watched for so many years with no action taken, it only shows that, to her, this God King is of no significance.

Fran couldn’t help speculating that this Elven God King must have left his thoroughly destroyed world with a mission.

This mission must be important enough that Coron, the Father of Elves, also places great importance on it.

But after escaping that planet, the Elven God King’s mission should have already been completed.

Although it’s unknown if it was successful.

The Wax Melt Demon following the God King’s entourage might not necessarily be for that mission.

She clearly started to appear in the high elf hierarchy after the world had changed, demonstrating her abilities.

She must have merely followed the Elven God King to find out what was happening, and to report back to Rose.

Thus, although Rose had kept an eye on this world all those years, she had no intention of doing anything.

Rather than causing the Elven God King to fall, she was more interested in pursuing the Goddess of the Hunt.

She must have known what had happened, but it was irrelevant and of no benefit to her. Thus, she remained indifferent.

William thought to himself, why would Rose so desire the Goddess of the Hunt?

Wasn’t she always one to play with her followers through conspiracies?

Or did she think the Goddess of the Hunt would be perfect to turn into a Spider Demon to guard her warehouse?

That creature would certainly be simple-minded enough to suit the role perfectly.

Paying no heed to the others who were distracted, Hill’s hands trembled nervously as he waved—they were trying to escape!

Many people’s attention was diverted when the Spider Demon rushed toward the Half-Elf Demigod, more so than before.

This battle was indeed spirited.

But Hill wasn’t watching that.

He was laser-focused on those Demons!

All the Demons suddenly surged toward the sky, hastily blocked by the Legendary Laws.

However, those Half-Demon, Half-Human creatures charged straight for Hill’s Ice Tornado, utterly disregarding the watchful Elements outside.

The Wood Elemental Lord had transformed into a huge Treant, its countless vines dancing, waiting only to smash them back into the heart of the Ice Tornado.

Hill raised his hands in the air, tense with anticipation.

Indeed, those three Demons didn’t follow the horde but closely trailed the Half-Demons.

Then, in an instant, as if they had lost all will, the Half-Demons charged into the most powerful part of the Ice Tornado.

And then they self-destructed.

The self-explosion of several Legendary Demons caused that area to freeze for a few seconds.

Three Demons rushed straight into it.

Then they were smacked right back by the dozens of Flying Sand and Rolling Stones tornadoes Hill summoned.

Hill’s greatest strength has always been Earth System.

If one were to gauge the power of those dozens of sandstorm tornadoes against the Ice Tornado, they would surely be stunned into a stupor.

These Demons, indeed, weren’t so astute after all.

These dozens of sandstorms, exhausting all of Hill’s strength, instantly dazed the three Demons.

The two Demon followers sensed danger and suddenly split off in opposite directions, self-destructing together.

Hoping to give their master a sliver of a chance at survival.

But whether it was Fran’s Demi-God Artifact or William’s Spatial Magic, both directly targeted the Great Demon.

Joining in were powerful attacks fully unleashed by the Tri-Element Lords.

Hill had long noticed that since the Element Lords appeared, they had reinforced the nearby terrain.

The Wood Elemental Lord didn’t transform into a large tree, but a Treant because the ground, blasted full of holes, had already been reorganized by the Earth Element Lords, who turned it entirely into durable stone.

Even if the Demon chief had a hard head, it would be difficult for him to charge straight down.

Therefore, he could only do his best to fend off these attacks that came crashing down instantly.

Yet, such frightening power, enough to severely injure even Draculus, was still blocked by the Demon.

He let out a skyward howl and flew back above the deep pit.

Looking at his few remaining subordinates, he cursed loudly in Demon Language for a while.

Feruccio Betti replied to him, trembling, only to be whipped by the Demon several times.

Hill heard the sound of Fran grinding his teeth beside him.

A Legendary law enforcer, to be so abject!

Under the scrutiny of All Gods In the Starry Sky, the Mages must be feeling terrible.

Even the Elf Legend Half-Elf who had stayed behind, secretly peering, felt the same.

Hill could even hear the curses in Elven language.

But William didn’t let him be arrogant for long.

Although some Deities enjoyed seeing Mages, who claimed that faith in deities was meaningless and only the self mattered, bow down humbly, William had no such taste.

He felt only disgust.

In his eyes, this Mage was also a traitor to humanity.

So, it wasn’t long before he summoned countless spatial cuts, aiming directly at the Great Demon howling in the middle.

The Demon was exceedingly fast; he completely ignored his minions and dodged most of William’s Magic in a flash.

But he was also forced to reveal his True form.

The curved horns atop his head, his gaunt appearance, his bizarre armor, and the surge of malevolent aura all told humans just how powerful this Demon was.

”Demon Babu!” William shouted sternly, ”How dare you appear in this world?”

”Of course, it’s in this world that I have evolved!” Demon Babu spoke in a singing tone, ”Though not for long, humans always surprise demons!”
