Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

He casually dropped the two young girls off at a hotel near the school, intending to rest for a while, when the phone suddenly rang. It was an unfamiliar landline number.

Not many people knew Li Younan’s private number since, considering his current identity and online influence, it would still cause plenty of trouble if his real number got leaked.

Puzzled, he picked up the call.

”Hello, hello, is this Li Younan?”

Upon hearing this address, Li Younan was taken aback. People who would call him ’classmate’... His mood instantly became a bit excited, ”Ah, yes, it is.”

”Hello, I’m calling from the office of Jiaotong University, and we’re preparing for the graduation ceremony.”

”We noticed you were climbing Mount Everest before, so we hadn’t dared to contact you.”

”Here’s the thing, we will be holding the graduation ceremony in five days, and as one of our outstanding alumni, we would like to know if you’re available to attend?”

Li Younan suddenly felt much more at ease, ”Why did you just call me now?”

The person on the other end was clearly taken aback, ”Ah?”

”I’m actually in Shanghai right now, I can totally attend.”

Meanwhile, far away in the office on the Jiaotong University campus, the staff responsible for calling the outstanding alumni was somewhat dumbfounded. Li Younan agreed so readily.

Previously, he had contacted quite a few outstanding alumni, but because they were so distinguished, they were very busy and had politely declined one after another.

This had left the staff member responsible for making the calls feeling a bit dejected and disappointed. When he called Li Younan, he did so with a tentative attitude, not expecting such an easy agreement from him.

He hesitated a moment, then asked a bit boldly, ”So... would you be willing to speak on behalf of the outstanding alumni?”

When Li Younan heard this, he immediately burst out laughing. Of course, he would.

To be honest, for Li Younan, even skiing and showing off on Mount Everest wasn’t as satisfying as bragging in front of the younger students at the graduation ceremony.

Li Younan agreed straightforwardly.

Having settled this matter, the staff member was quite excited, ”Would you be available to visit your alma mater tomorrow? There are some details we still need to discuss in person.”

They set the time and place.

There was nothing else planned for tonight. Originally intending to take Liu Li and Jing Chaoyi to visit the alma mater that day, Li Younan pushed it to tomorrow.

The only task for tonight was to get a good rest.

That night, of course, they booked two rooms, but Liu Li refused to sleep with Li Younan and instead went to Jing Chaoyi’s room to share with her.

This left Li Younan rather unhappy, unable to resist saying, ”What are you worried about? The rooms here have excellent soundproofing.”

This made Liu Li more embarrassed, giving Li Younan a pitiful glare, ”What are you talking about? So annoying...”

Meanwhile, Jing Chaoyi was playing dumb, asking with an innocent and confused look, ”What’s with the soundproofing? Does it have anything to do with Sister Long coming over?”

Ha, acting quite convincingly, Li Younan rolled his eyes.

Liu Li seriously said, ”I just want to chat with senior sister for a bit longer tonight.”

So, Li Younan had no choice but to be alone.

Meanwhile, Jing Chaoyi chuckled and said, ”Oh, senior, I’ll return Sister Long to you.”

Li Younan touched his nose, feeling that claiming so made him sound quite desperate.

Unsatisfied, he knocked each of the two girls lightly on the head.

...

The next day, Li Younan took Liu Li and Jing Chaoyi back to their alma mater.

Standing at the entrance of the alma mater, the Student Union president personally came to greet him.

Li Younan couldn’t help but recall his own school days—at a top university like Jiaotong, the Student Union president carried significant weight.

Being able to become the president in such an environment full of exceptional people was not an easy feat.

At least back then, when Li Younan ran for the Student Union, he didn’t even make it to vice president of his department’s Student Union and was eliminated.

Of course, this didn’t imply he was lacking skills, but that small setback did give him a certain perception of the Student Union president.

For one to become the school’s Student Union president, it meant showing an incredibly high level of communication and organizational skills among peers.

The Student Union president was a young girl who was indeed a bit nervous when facing Li Younan. She greeted him warmly, ”Hello, Senior Li! I, I’m Chen Lu, responsible for receiving you. You can call me Xiaochen or Xiaolu.”

Seeing the nervous expression of the Student Union president in front of him, Li Younan found it amusing.

Recalling how back when he applied for vice president of the Student Union as a freshman, one of the school’s Student Union presidents sitting as a judge had made him feel a bit uneasy.

Li Younan and his two companions followed Chen Lu into the school.

Along the way, Chen Lu earnestly explained to Li Younan some of the changes in the school since his graduation.

It’s undeniable that while it largely looked the same as in his memory, there were tangible hardware upgrades he could distinctly feel.

Jing Chaoyi and Li Younan were both revisiting old haunts.

Upon hearing that Jing Chaoyi was also a senior, Chen Lu looked at her with respect.

Meanwhile, Liu Li remained relatively silent throughout, curiously and earnestly observing her surroundings, a scene noted by Jing Chaoyi.

When Chen Lu suggested taking Li Younan to the rehearsal site, Jing Chaoyi seized the opportunity to propose taking Liu Li on a tour.
