Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Liu Li, with her hands on her hips, said cheekily under the influence of alcohol, ”What, you got a problem?”

Li Younan coughed, ”No problem, no problem.”

Jing Chaoyi and Liu Li hadn’t drunk much, but their alcohol tolerance was pretty low, so they were already a tad tipsy.

Li Younan quickly took them away and got two rooms at a nearby hotel.

The two rooms were right next to each other.

For Liu Li, sharing a room with Li Younan in front of others was a bit embarrassing.

She tried to cover it up, saying, ”Why only two rooms? I... I’m not at that stage with you yet.”

She said this while sneaking a glance at Jing Chaoyi.

Li Younan couldn’t be bothered to play along and knocked gently on her head.

They both escorted Jing Chaoyi to her room. Sitting on the bed, Jing Chaoyi said, ”Goodnight.”

After Li Younan and Liu Li returned to their room, Liu Li tried to say something but was picked up by Li Younan and thrown directly onto the bed.

”Ah!”

Like a young girl, Liu Li hid in the corner of the bed, shyly trying to cover herself, which only aroused Li Younan’s desire more.

A few minutes later.

”Mmm...”

”Uh... ah...”

”Um... is my voice too loud?”

”It’s fine; hotels generally have soundproofing, they can’t hear us.”

Right at that moment, from Jing Chaoyi’s room next door, came a clear sound of a glass cup shattering on the floor.

The sound instantly froze Li Younan and Liu Li’s actions.

Liu Li’s eyes widened, her gaze a mix of surprise and embarrassment, mouth agape.

But when she looked at Li Younan...

After a brief moment of surprise, he seemed... even more excited?

Huh?

Later on, the young girl tried to stifle her voice, covering her mouth tightly... almost in tears.

...

Everything was normal the next day.

The two girls greeted each other calmly, exchanged good mornings, then Liu Li coyly said, ”Li Younan, it’s really annoying watching a movie from the United States yesterday, the sound was too loud. Did you hear it, senior?”

”No... didn’t hear it.”

Jing Chaoyi said no more, just focused on eating breakfast.

Liu Li breathed a sigh of relief.

Li Younan couldn’t help but roll his eyes... Why sigh with relief, can’t you tell your senior is also pretending not to hear?

Heh, women.

Just then, Li Younan received a phone call from a slightly tired Lu Zhiqing, who opened with, ”Younan, I’m willing to accept your recruitment. I thought it over all night, no matter the salary you offer, I’ll accept, I...”

Before he could finish, Li Younan interrupted him, ”Alright, alright, we can talk about your thought process later, it’s good you’ve accepted.”

Lu Zhiqing laughed, his voice sounding a bit relieved, ”Sorry, this was indeed a significant decision for me, now I plan to take a good rest.”

Li Younan said, ”Good, send me your ID or whatever. I might set up a sole proprietorship or studio, I’ll process your onboarding directly, and start calculating your salary from today.”

Having secured his ship’s doctor, Li Younan felt even happier.

The recruitment for other positions was fine, but the ship doctor role, in Li Younan’s view, prioritized character.

Using recruitment to gauge someone’s character is too limiting.

Li Younan wasn’t very confident in judging people; accidentally recruiting a doctor with poor character would be very troublesome.

Lu Zhiqing was a long-time friend of Li Younan, setting aside whether or not his medical skills were excellent, Li Younan trusted Lu Zhiqing for his character.

Besides Lu Zhiqing visiting an elderly household to treat them yesterday, what impressed Li Younan most was an incident during their freshman year.

Back then, a girl in their class often napped during lessons, looked haggard and thin from chronic malnutrition.

Some students privately gossiped about her and blamed her for holding the class back behind her back.

Yet she received a warm breakfast every morning, not knowing who sent it.

At first, the girl looked around suspiciously, unsure of eating, but later, notes accompanied the breakfast, which eased her mind to enjoy the goodwill.

Until one morning, Li Younan witnessed Lu Zhiqing secretly placing breakfast in the girl’s desk, realizing this guy did good deeds anonymously.

Turns out, the girl’s mother was seriously ill, the family spent all their savings, and she had to work part-time at a restaurant during her extracurricular hours, leading to naps in class and skipping breakfast.

Lu Zhiqing was the only one in class who knew her situation, but he never mentioned her family’s condition, nor made her feel indebted, just quietly helped her.

With an upright, kind ship’s doctor aboard, Li Younan felt assured.

Securing the ship’s doctor was merely the first step for his crew team.

As for the captain, Li Younan naturally took the lead, assuming the role personally, it’s his own ship after all.

Many wealthy yacht owners hire a captain, but Li Younan saw no need for that.

He’s skilled in ship navigation and quite familiar with the knowledge required for a captain.
