Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Leaving the old man’s place, Lu Zhiqing had a somewhat complex expression as he said to Li Younan, ”Thank you, Younan.”

Li Younan glanced at Lu Zhiqing and didn’t say anything.

There’s no denying that Lu Zhiqing is a very kind person.

Even though from the bottom of his heart he wasn’t entirely satisfied with his current job, particularly tasks like filling out forms and doing promotions, which aren’t part of his main duties, his patience and kindness genuinely shone through when it came to saving lives and treating illnesses.

And for a doctor, this is extremely important.

Holding the steering wheel, Li Younan suddenly said, ”By the way, are you free tomorrow? Want to play a game of basketball?”

Lu Zhiqing was taken aback for a moment and shook his head. ”Tomorrow... tomorrow I can’t.”

”Isn’t tomorrow the weekend?”

”It is the weekend, but I have to work overtime.”

”No time at all, the whole day?”

”No time at all, the whole day.”

Li Younan held the steering wheel, hesitated, and then asked, ”Do you like your current job?”

Lu Zhiqing chuckled self-mockingly, ”With jobs, what’s the point of talking about like or dislike?”

Li Younan said, ”Liking it is still pretty important, isn’t it?”

Lu Zhiqing looked at Li Younan, ”There’s no choice, you know.”

”If you had a choice, would you be willing to change your job?”

Lu Zhiqing hesitated for a moment.

Li Younan thought for a moment, and in fact, he hadn’t pre-decided to directly invite Lu Zhiqing before coming.

After all, making rash changes in someone else’s life isn’t really appropriate.

But after observing Lu Zhiqing’s living conditions, Li Younan made the decision: ”I’m planning to build a yacht that can travel everywhere, and this yacht requires many crew members, including a ship’s doctor, of course.”

”And the ship’s doctor has to be a general practitioner first, which I think suits you well.”

”If you’re willing, I hope you become the first crew member I recruit.”

Lu Zhiqing was utterly stunned by what Li Younan said, as if unable to digest the information for a long while.

Li Younan laughed faintly, ”It’s okay, you can take your time to think it over.”

Lu Zhiqing fell silent and nodded, ”This news is indeed quite unexpected for me, I’ll... I’ll think about it and get back to you.”

...

After dropping Lu Zhiqing off at his rental apartment, Li Younan then contacted Liu Li and Jing Chaoyi, planning to drive over to pick them up.

The two girls had a blast at the comic convention. After wandering around, they took the subway to some unknown small pub to fool around.

Li Younan drove to the address given by Liu Li, entered the small pub, reached the booth where the two were sitting, pulled open the curtain, and was stunned by the scene before him.

Jing Chaoyi and Liu Li were sitting side by side, with Jing Chaoyi’s hand reaching under Liu Li’s clothes...

Groping?

Li Younan was dumbfounded, ”What... what are you two doing?”

Jing Chaoyi quickly retracted her hand, coughed, and said, ”You shouldn’t meddle in girls’ affairs.”

Liu Li said shyly, ”Yeah, why did you suddenly come? By the way, did you finish your business?”

Li Younan shook his head, ”It’s still uncertain, I’m planning to recruit crew members. I happen to know a general practitioner, my high school classmate, and I officially proposed recruiting him. He’s still considering it.”

Jing Chaoyi thought for a moment, ”You’re planning to recruit crew members? Are you looking for all of them this way?”

Li Younan asked oddly, ”What do you mean?”

Liu Li also looked at Jing Chaoyi strangely.

Jing Chaoyi said, ”Senior, why are you so naive?”

”Looking within your own circle seems too limited, doesn’t it?”

”Not to mention, you just happen to know this doctor, but what about other positions, how will you find them?”

”For example, a chief engineer seems to be a necessary position, right? Do you know one? And you also need a first mate and sailors, which you probably don’t have connections for, right?”

Li Younan rubbed his chin, ”Do you have any good suggestions?”

Jing Chaoyi smiled slightly, looked at Liu Li beside her, and then said with a smile, ”I’ll give you an idea. When looking for crew members, why not try recruiting them?”

”Recruiting?” Li Younan paused for a moment, and then his eyes lit up.

Jing Chaoyi continued, ”You have such a big online presence, so many people follow you. Just lay out the conditions, the tasks, and your compensation, and then hold an open selection, interviews, or something like that. You’ll definitely be able to find the crew members you wish for!”

Li Younan didn’t respond yet when Liu Li already started clapping, ”That’s really a good idea, senior, you’re so smart.”

Li Younan had a slightly odd expression, ”What did you call her?”

Liu Li smiled sheepishly, ”Senior... senior.”

Li Younan couldn’t help but roll his eyes.

Jing Chaoyi calls him senior, Liu Li calls him by his name, and then she calls Jing Chaoyi senior, what a mess.

Jing Chaoyi giggled at the side, ”Sister Long said she wants to study at our university and even said she wants to take the college entrance exam.”

”I think it’s actually unnecessary to go through all that trouble, because with some effort, she can actually audit classes at our school directly.”

”But to ensure she understands some of the courses, she still needs to master some basic knowledge.”

”And so we agreed that I’d tutor her, help her strengthen her foundation, and eventually find a way to get her to audit classes at our school, and then she’ll call me senior.”
