Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

A new set of images has appeared on the live stream, which is the panoramic third-person view captured by the drone.

Everyone’s heart was in their mouth when they saw the terrifying slope.

Even though Li Younan had shown a very relaxed demeanor in front of the camera earlier, he was genuinely not nervous at the moment. Yet, once the descent truly began, he was wholly focused and attentive.

Li Younan once again entered a very peculiar state. His brain continuously recalled the route previously explored through the drone. Having only watched it for a short time, he now memorized all the obstacles on the whole route as if he were a rally co-driver.

In such speed conditions, all decisions must be made in advance, and some decisions will affect subsequent ones. If you wait until you see it with your eyes and then react, it will surely be too late.

Nevertheless, Li Younan still did not feel any danger.

It’s truly amazing. His body entered an extraordinary state of speed perception, not like in the movies where everything around seemingly slows down. On the contrary, the speed was still fast, but his brain’s thinking speed was even faster. All choices and judgments were completed subconsciously, without even needing active thought.

After watching Li Younan ski for about 100 meters, ski expert Berich couldn’t stay seated any longer. He suddenly leaned closer, staring intently at the screen, dumbfounded: ”Does he intend to complete the entire descent at this speed?”

In reality, even the best ski descenders, when skiing on these wild snow mountains, strictly speaking, descend in segments, stopping here and there.

For example, the Polish Iron Lung descended from the southern slope, taking several hours, and had to be extremely cautious.

Especially in such sections, a protective point should be set every twenty or thirty meters. Using ropes for protection to prevent accidental falls is the safest approach.

After all, it’s a snow mountain where you might encounter rocks, cliffs, all kinds of obstacles, or even avalanches at any moment. How could you recklessly speed down as if on a professional ski slope?

However, Li Younan was doing exactly that, showing no intention of slowing down.

Li Younan’s simple thought was that sliding down quickly is what makes it exciting.

Having recently acquired Level 3 wingsuit flying and parachuting skills, his threshold for excitement from speed had reached an outrageously high level.

He had previously watched interviews with F1 drivers, and when asked why they don’t speed on the highways, the driver sighed slightly, stating that even if they reached 200 mph on a highway, there would be no emotional ripple.

Li Younan experienced this feeling... At this moment, he slid down from the peak at such a speed, which wasn’t even exciting, at most just a leisurely feeling. If he were to descend slowly like a snail, it would be incredibly boring.

And with his Level 3 skiing skills, Li Younan’s control of the snowboard on such a slope was almost artistic.

The upper section of the Hornbain snow gully is about 400 meters long, and this might be the gentlest segment of the entire route.

Li Younan continuously used edge change maneuvers, sliding down from the peak in a zigzag route, his whole body weight shifting steadily with the slope.

The third-person view from the drone made viewers find it somewhat unbelievable because Li Younan seemed incredibly steady, creating a somewhat disruptive viewing experience.

Clearly, it was a snow slope of forty or fifty degrees, looking extremely fearful, yet Li Younan skied steadily as an old dog, not showing the danger of such a slope at all.

The last part of the Hornbain snow gully, however, abruptly increased in difficulty, with a slope exceeding 60 degrees, practically a wall for many people.

This section is about one to two hundred meters. From Li Younan’s live first-person view, even through the screen, the rapidly descending view would affect your blood pressure and heart rate.

At this moment, the drone’s perspective abruptly rose up, and simultaneously, everyone in the live stream exclaimed.

Because when the drone view lifted up, everyone suddenly saw the connecting place between the Hornbain snow gully and the Japanese snow gully, where the snow slope suddenly interrupted, replaced by a black rock wall with a height difference of dozens of meters.

Sliding at such speed, once the snowboard contacted the rocks, Li Younan would definitely fall directly down, and with a bit of bad luck, he might crash onto the jagged rocks, dying on the spot.

From another perspective, neither Li Younan’s first-person view nor the panoramic camera’s view could detect that black rock wall.

At this moment, everyone’s mind went blank, and the host couldn’t help but shout: ”There’s a cliff! There’s a cliff!”

Feeling a bit noisy, he paid no heed to what the host was chattering about, as Li Younan needed to discard all distractions once skiing started.

The live stream chat began flooding with comments like ”Oh my God, it’s over.”

But then, something unexpected happened.

Li Younan, as if knowing there was a rocky cliff directly below, suddenly changed edges, sliding sideways in a zigzag route.

The live stream audience still didn’t relax because the direction Li Younan skied toward was a U-shaped snow wall, which was not a path at all.
