Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

In the small town in May, the weather is quite warm, but not yet considered hot.

At this time, as people walk along the streets, some are wearing short sleeves, while others wear light jackets.

In short, it’s not yet the peak season for the swimming pool. A young, pretty girl is sitting on a bench outside the swimming pool, watching the passersby and vehicles with great interest, imagining how many years ago, the high-achiever named Li Younan grew up here.

Honestly speaking, as someone who grew up in the city of Changsha, she doesn’t understand the life of people in small towns, but she can feel a peculiar relaxed atmosphere in such places.

Sichuan people are known in China for their sense of relaxation, and as times change, this sense of relaxation has slowly been replaced and assimilated by the urgency found in big cities, especially new first-tier cities like Chengdu.

But in such small towns, this sense of relaxation isn’t going to disappear anytime soon.

Jing Chaoyi even amusingly thought that maybe living in such a small town wouldn’t be so bad.

Before arriving at the swimming pool, she had already wandered to several places.

When she lived with Li Younan in Xiamen before, they talked for a long time, so she naturally got to know the names of Li Younan’s elementary school, middle school, and even his high school alma mater.

Younan casually mentioned it at the time, so he would never have guessed that she actually remembered it all... hee-hee.

Jing Chaoyi had visited all the places where Li Younan once lived.

Without Li Younan by her side, it was actually better this way. Seeing the roads he once walked alone brought a small joy of peeking into his life experiences, like a little theft, and doing such things is best done quietly on the sly.

During this process, she also discovered something interesting: Li Younan’s name was still on the honor roll of outstanding graduates at his high school alma mater.

Li Younan was once the top scorer in the college entrance exam for their county and went to one of the country’s top universities, which remains something worth boasting about for his alma mater, even after many years.

Jing Chaoyi took out her phone, flipped to the photos she had taken at the time, and zoomed in to take a closer look.

On the honor roll, the photo of Li Younan was from his high school years, with long bangs, looking youthful and handsome.

It was truly unexpected that the senior already had such astonishingly good looks back in high school.

And the most absurd thing was that someone had written a confession with a pen beneath his name.

Back in Xiamen, the senior clearly said that he was fully focused on his studies in high school, with no one confessing to him at all, which was a lie.

But that’s more reasonable after all.

As for today’s schedule, Jing Chaoyi had already planned it. First of all, no matter what, she planned to drag the senior around the swimming pool.

Swimming, of course, is secondary.

The core purpose... she’s recently achieved some success in fitness, has developed some abs, and a very commendable shapely posterior.

To her, if fitness isn’t complimented by someone else, it becomes meaningless.

She is definitely not the type to pretend that fitness is solely for her own pleasure.

Though saying it like that isn’t wrong either, fitness is for one’s own happiness, but having a good physique alone doesn’t make one happy; being praised for it does.

Moreover, not all praise is worth delighting in.

Li Younan’s praise would be!

As she was thinking like this, that familiar Land Cruiser appeared at the end of the street.

She immediately stood up, waving vigorously in the car’s direction.

Li Younan parked the car right in front of Jing Chaoyi.

The sun was big and glaring today, and Li Younan wore sunglasses. He lowered the car window and removed his sunglasses, just about to say something when Jing Chaoyi suddenly leaned over the window, her face nearly touching his.

Li Younan paused for a moment, catching a whiff of Jing Chaoyi’s fragrance.

”What are you doing?” Li Younan leaned back a bit.

Jing Chaoyi grinned and said, ”I’m checking if you tanned while traveling the 318 route?”

”So did I get tanned?”

”Hmm, let me take a closer look, senior, I think you didn’t tan, in fact, you look even fairer.”

At this point, Jing Chaoyi’s face was extremely close, her big eyes wide open, with a very serious expression. Li Younan could even see the pores on her delicate skin.

This girl’s skin is really fine and delicate, on par with Liu Li’s.

This thought popped into Li Younan’s mind involuntarily.

After speaking, Jing Chaoyi casually circled around to the front seat and got in, saying, ”Let’s go, senior.”

Li Younan smiled silently and drove into the swimming pool parking lot.

A few minutes later, the two were already inside the swimming pool.

To be honest, at this moment, Li Younan was also somewhat looking forward to swimming. Since acquiring the swimming skill, he had yet to actually get into the water properly.

Previously, even before acquiring the swimming skill, he had managed to learn how to swim on his own, although not very proficiently — just well enough to ensure he wouldn’t drown if he fell in the water — but despite such a level of swimming, he really enjoyed the sport.

Swimming is the closest thing to flying when you’re in the water.

And now, having the top swimming skill, getting into the water again meant truly being able to control his body freely and direct the flow.

What exactly that feeling was like, one would only know after getting into the water.
