Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

After Gao Tiande left, Liu Li and Jing Chaoyi stayed at Grandpa’s guesthouse for two more days.

Honestly, for girls like Jing Chaoyi and Liu Li, who have lived in the city all their lives, spending two or three days in the countryside occasionally is indeed a fascinating experience. They still see the countryside through a kind of magical filter.

For city dwellers who have hardly lived in the countryside, the countryside often represents tranquility, peace, and an idyllic beauty far from the mundane world. Of course, those who have truly grown up in the countryside would dismiss this view.

Because while rural reality certainly isn’t bad, when Li Younan lived at his grandfather’s house as a kid, he saw neighbors fighting over an inch of land, a widow from one house hooking up with a married man from another household, causing a commotion, or a child accidentally falling into the village’s dry toilet—all sorts of absurd and messy troubles.

Of course, there are positives too; this is the real rural picture, and naturally the two girls didn’t get a chance to experience it.

But Li Younan didn’t plan on making them feel that way. In these two days, it’s sufficient for them to enjoy their time here. They originally came to travel, which is certainly better.

However, comparatively speaking, Jing Chaoyi is a bit more perceptive. One day, she made a thoughtful remark with some nostalgia. She said, ”Actually, in a way, kids coming from the countryside and kids coming from the city all eventually reach the same position; for instance, they all enter Tsinghua University. The rural kids might be more formidable because they see the country in a more complete way, while city kids might never understand what the country is really like throughout their lives.”

Putting aside whether Jing Chaoyi’s reflection is correct, it indeed prompted some thinking in Liu Li, leading to a complicated emotion because she wouldn’t have this realization herself, having never attended university, reducing these kinds of thoughts.

Over the past two days, Li Younan took the two girls for strolls around the village, and even drove the Unimog camper to camp further away. The countryside has its distinct ways; many things they definitely wouldn’t have the chance to experience in the city, like wearing sandals, or simply stepping into the stream barefoot.

They went to the wilderness several kilometers outside the village, experiencing life away from the urban hustle and bustle; compared to camping on highway 318, the experience in such suburban areas can be better.

Li Younan grilled barbecue for them, and the two girls would explore nearby together.

When the barbecue was about done, Li Younan could see the two girls from afar, having gathered all kinds of flowers and grass, made straw hats, wearing one each, hand in hand, coming over.

Seeing such a scene, Li Younan felt a sense of inexplicable comfort.

Previously, Li Younan did harbor a tiny bit of worry... After all, Liu Li and he now have a substantial relationship, while Jing Chaoyi has been very close to him since student days. When two girls come together, might it be the legendary battleground?

It could potentially become a headache.

But evidently, everything didn’t turn out badly.

It was apparent Liu Li quite liked Jing Chaoyi’s character, and within just two or three days’ interaction, they had already become friends.

When the three played together, Li Younan and Liu Li occasionally displayed some intimate gestures.

For instance, when Liu Li helped wash vegetables, slightly bending herself over the sink, Li Younan went up and gave her a gentle tap on the butt, surprising Liu Li to jump up, then glaring at him with slight anger.

Or when they played exuberantly by noon and felt a bit tired, they would each take a long reclining chair, putting it under the camper’s sunshade to nap, Liu Li would tease Li Younan with a piece of foxtail grass, angering him into grabbing Liu Li to tickle her, as playful Sister Long relentlessly begged for mercy.

Later on, these intimate gestures weren’t concealed from Jing Chaoyi, who watched the scene with a face full of smiles.

Joyfully spent two days; Chengdu was hosting a youth culture festival with elements like comic conventions, skateboarding, graffiti, etc., greatly attracting Jing Chaoyi.

She invited Li Younan and Liu Li to join her; Liu Li felt quite tempted, having just come out of her psychological barriers without having participated in such events, but Li Younan had more important things to attend to and declined.

Eventually, the two girls set off together, making plans to attend the youth culture festival, and Li Younan drove them to Chengdu, thereafter going to handle his relatively important matters.

...

Since childhood to adulthood, Li Younan has had great popularity, not only with women but also with men.

Of course, the traits attracting men and women differ; attracting women is rather straightforward and relies on good looks alone.

Attracting men, however, is somewhat more complex.

For men, the attractiveness of a fellow’s looks doesn’t evoke any feelings; it’s masterful ball skills, high intelligence, and emotional intelligence that make them admire.
