Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Li Younan took just one breath and had already effortlessly reached the end of the lane.

Throughout the process, Li Younan didn’t even feel like he was exerting much effort, he leisurely swam back and forth twice, completely immersed in the enjoyment of swimming.

Jing Chaoyi was initially dumbfounded, watching her senior display swimming skills far superior to her own, feeling somewhat conflicted for a moment.

After a while, her cheeks puffed up, standing in the shallow end, arms crossed over her chest, silently watching Li Younan swim two laps. Suddenly, her eyes twinkled with an idea, and a mischievous grin spread across her face as she dove into the water and swam to where Li Younan was sure to pass.

Li Younan swam underwater and seeing Jing Chaoyi blocking his path, helplessly emerged from the water.

Jing Chaoyi smiled brightly at Li Younan: ”Senior, I didn’t expect you to be so good at swimming now. I distinctly remember you were a landlubber back in college.”

Li Younan casually said: ”Everyone has to improve, right? Wasn’t I born with athletic prowess?”

”Then, senior, could you teach me? I still can’t do the butterfly stroke.”

”You can’t do the butterfly stroke?”

”Yeah, I originally wanted to show off in front of you and teach you to swim, but now it seems like I’m the one who really needs to learn! The butterfly stroke is so beautiful; I really want to learn it too.”

Li Younan paused for a moment: ”Alright.”

In truth, Li Younan felt a bit helpless because he didn’t know how to teach someone to swim.

Swimming is something that, unless you’ve systematically learned teaching methods, it’s really hard to explain to others.

Strictly speaking, what he knew wasn’t the butterfly stroke, but rather the natural ability his unparalleled swimming skills had given him.

He swam entirely on instinct in the water.

For these two laps, he hadn’t even been swimming at his fastest, it was more like a stroll in the water, yet he was still faster than an average competitive swimmer.

But since Jing Chaoyi brought it up, saying he couldn’t teach would seem a bit pretentious.

Although Li Younan didn’t know how to systematically teach someone to swim, he knew some basic principles: swimming starts with practicing movements on land.

So, the two left the pool again.

”Do it like this first.”

”Like this?”

”Hmm... but it doesn’t look quite coordinated.”

”Is it like this then?”

”Make the movement a bit wider.”

”Senior, lead me through it.”

”Still not quite right, you need to use your core.”

”Using the core? What kind of feeling is that?”

”Like this.”

”Senior, senior, touch my core and check if I’m using it correctly.”

”Uh...”

”Senior, it’s purely for teaching purposes, don’t get any wrong ideas!”

”Ha...”

”Senior, senior, how about this?”

”You’re getting there... yes, make the movement a bit wider.”

”This move is a bit embarrassing...”

...

The two left the swimming center, Jing Chaoyi’s hair was still wet, but she had already showered once in the changing room, her hair mixed with the scent of shampoo.

She bought two ice creams, handed one to Li Younan, and unwrapped the other to take a bite, instantly feeling a brain freeze and stomping her foot involuntarily. She then resorted to licking it instead.

Turning her head, she found Li Younan staring at her.

”What is it, senior?”

Li Younan shook his head: ”Nothing, let’s go, I’ll take you to try some Anchuan specialties.”

”Senior, when will you take me to your grandpa’s guesthouse?”

”Right after lunch.”

”Great, senior!”

Just then, Li Younan’s phone suddenly rang, and when he picked it up, it was a video call from Liu Li.

Li Younan paused for a moment but answered it very calmly.

The screen showed Liu Li’s delicate little face: ”Li Younan, I’m planning to come see you this afternoon.”

Li Younan blinked: ”What’s up?”

Liu Li giggled: ”I’ve got a mission.”

”What mission?”

”There’s an uncle saying you’re his lifesaver, he found my brother’s company and talked with him, said he has to meet you. My brother can’t leave, so I’m bringing him to see you.”

”Oh, I see.”

”Where are you right now?”

”I’m in the town’s...”

”Hey, your hair is wet, did you just shower?”

Li Younan said: ”I just went swimming.”

”Swimming, huh? I wish I could learn to swim too.” Liu Li couldn’t help but recall the time spent soaking in the springs on Route 318.

Jing Chaoyi was right next to Li Younan, quietly nibbling on her ice cream, occasionally glancing at him.

Liu Li asked again: ”Are you alone?”

Li Younan hesitated for a moment, looked at Jing Chaoyi beside him, and said: ”Not alone, a junior came to find me, you know, the one I mentioned before, Jing Chaoyi.”

While speaking, Li Younan simply turned the phone’s camera towards Jing Chaoyi.

Jing Chaoyi was initially taken aback, then immediately smiled sweetly: ”Hi!”

Liu Li was slightly stunned to see Jing Chaoyi on the screen: ”You... hello.”

Jing Chaoyi acted very natural and pleasant: ”Are you Li Younan’s girlfriend?”

Liu Li’s eyes widened, looking a bit fidgety as she glanced behind her, worried that her brother outside might hear this, she coughed and quickly changed the topic: ”Uh, see you in the afternoon, we’ll talk then!”

With that, she hurriedly ended the call.

Jing Chaoyi looked at Li Younan with a puzzled expression: ”What’s up with your girlfriend?”
