Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1548: Chapter 784: The Truth Exposed

Gu Huaichun has been running non-stop for the past two years.

Filming, shooting commercials, business deals, award ceremonies, live broadcasts, recording variety shows... all sorts of work, barely any rest.

The life of a celebrity artist truly has no regularity; when idle, you can be so idle that you stay at home picking your toes every day; when busy, you can be so busy that your feet don’t touch the ground, flying all over the world.

He rarely has the opportunity to stay in a place where no one disturbs him, with people he knows well, for a few days.

Actually, this is also work, but Gu Huaichun doesn’t consider this work.

Chatting here with Zhou Yun feels more like a conversation between friends after relaxing.

In fact, it truly is like that.

Gu Huaichun almost chats for quite a while before realizing that he’s currently filming.

This feeling is very strange.

It’s a feeling he’s never had before.

Gu Huaichun recalls when he’s usually filming, he mostly goes to a fixed location, walks through the scenes with the script twice, then the director comes over to propose some requirements and adjustments, then they shoot again, and a scene can be adjusted many times.

Gu Huaichun doesn’t think this is bad.

It’s just that having gone through these kinds of filming experiences, when he’s acting in Wen Bing’s crew, there’s an extraordinary feeling of relaxation.

And a relaxed mind and body is really important for an actor in acting.

...

At eleven at night, a blogger specializing in Hollywood film dynamics suddenly posted a message that caught a lot of people’s attention.

The blogger said: ”According to Variety, it is suspected that the originally cast Zhou Yun for ’Killing Song’ will be replaced, and Zhou Yun will no longer be the leading actress.”

The moment this news was released, it immediately caught the attention of Zhou Yun’s fans.

Zhou Yun’s fans don’t have an official support group, but many people have self-organized groups.

Someone immediately took a screenshot of the news and sent it to the group.

The group instantly exploded.

Miss Zhou Yun’s Little Sister: Could this be fake news? I’ve heard Xiao Yun and Mélando have already signed the contract, how could they suddenly change the role?

Cinderella: Yes, wasn’t it said that the movie would start filming in December? With the filming about to start, how could they change the role?

Miss Zhou Yun’s Little Sister: Is someone trying to steal Xiao Yun’s role?

Master Yideng: Variety usually doesn’t fabricate news, if they’re saying this, there must be some wind sound coming out, what should we do?

Cinderella: Who could have the ability to steal Xiao Yun’s role? Throughout the Chinese-language film circle, there’s no young actress in her twenties who’s more internationally recognized and acclaimed as Xiao Yun.

Master Yideng: Maybe it’s not someone from the Chinese-language film circle, could it be a Hollywood Chinese actress? If it’s them, it’s not entirely impossible.

Cinderella: Are there Hollywood Chinese actresses with international box office appeal like Xiao Yun? The well-known ones are already in their forties or fifties, completely unsuitable for ’Killing Song’.

Miss Zhou Yun’s Little Sister: No matter what, we absolutely cannot allow such a thing to happen. We should write emails to Mélando Company to express our opposition.

Grass: Will it be useful to write emails to Mélando?

Miss Zhou Yun’s Little Sister: Whether it’s useful or not, we should do what we can. ’Killing Song’ is a very good opportunity, and if Mélando unfaithfully replaces Xiao Yun, we can’t let them succeed so easily.

Cinderella: You’re right. If they replace the leading actress, then we’ll boycott the movie!

...

Zhou Yun’s fans have immense fighting power.

After everyone agreed on what to do, that night, thousands of letters of opposition were sent to Mélando’s public email inbox.

Additionally, many people jumped the firewall to Twitter, expressing dissatisfaction and protest under Mélando’s official Twitter account.

A group of people was very formidable in momentum.

While domestic major film bloggers and marketing accounts were still discussing whether this matter was true or fake, Zhou Yun’s fans had already taken sudden action.

Because of this incident, Zhou Yun appeared on Twitter’s global trending list.

’Killing Song’ itself has many original fans in Europe and America, otherwise Mélando wouldn’t have bought the rights back then to develop it into a trilogy.

Many foreigners are also focused on the production-related news of this movie.
