Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1531: Chapter 775: Actress, Rain, Silence_2

Yi Zhe, carrying the cameraman, squatted in the water, looking at the scene through the lens, and was momentarily lost in thought.

...

It was agreed that this film didn’t require much acting, but in those fleeting moments, Zhou Yun didn’t waste a single second, showcasing her skills to the fullest in the silence.

If at this moment Zhou Yun had a breakdown and cried, or acted with more intense emotions, it might have been more moving and contagious, but that would have disrupted the tone and style of the entire movie.

Yi Zhe thought that the most remarkable thing about Zhou Yun was that she adhered to Wen Bing’s desired style, yet she managed to achieve phenomenal results in her own way.

Damn, she’s amazing.

Yi Zhe was thrilled as he filmed.

A good cameraman, being able to capture such an actress, how could he not be excited?

When Yi Zhe was filming ”Female Assassin,” he was only in charge of the B camera unit. This time, Wen Bing directly invited him to be the main cameraman for this film, even though it’s partly because more renowned cinematographers weren’t willing to take on low-paying jobs, Yi Zhe was still very satisfied.

Because this was his first time being the main cinematographer for a film.

Any young person, regardless of whether they truly have talent, universally hopes for recognition from others.

Especially, Yi Zhe was indeed talented.

If it weren’t for Wen Bing choosing him, he might still be working hard to build his career, persevering.

The field of film and TV cinematography is like that; it’s merely a technical job, and often, it doesn’t highlight one’s talent like other jobs might.

Especially on the film set, it’s not something you decide alone.

Besides the director of photography, there’s the director, the producer, the supervisor, and so on.

Yi Zhe cherished this opportunity very much.

...

Zhou Yun and Chen Zhuo kept filming until dusk.

They shed tears more than five times.

The emotions seemed to have been completely drained.

But there was no choice, Chen Zhuo was about to return to school for classes, and by the time he was on his next monthly break, the crew would have already left here.

Before he left, Zhou Yun talked to him for a while about signing a contract.

”My agent has already spoken to your mother about this, but there’s no other implication. It’s not asking you to become an actor right now. It’s just that when this film may have some promotional activities in the future, having an agency and a professional team handle these matters will be much more convenient. Additionally, if after the film is released, other crews want you to act, we’ll help you review the scripts, coordinate related matters, and consult your opinions on whether you’d like to take the roles or not.”

Chen Zhuo hesitantly asked, ”Aunt Xiao Yun, if I go to other crews to act, can I earn money too?”

His question didn’t make Zhou Yun think he was worldly; instead, it made her feel a bit sympathetic.

Because she understood why Chen Zhuo cared about this.

Why did Chen Zhuo rush to the morning market the day after returning home on his monthly break?

Because he wanted to earn as much money as possible for his family.

Chen Zhuo’s family situation was a bit special. His father worked in Guangdong before but passed away due to an accident.

It was just their mother raising the two children alone.

Chen Zhuo was able to attend this junior high school entirely because of the scholarship provided by the school.

And the family had always been worried about Chen Zhuo’s high school tuition. Chen Zhuo’s grades were quite good, enough to get into the high school division of this school, but with so many strong contenders, there was no certainty he’d get a scholarship. If not, he would have to pay tuition fees of nine thousand yuan a year. This was a huge amount for their family.

This is why when Xiuxiu’s mother heard that Chen Zhuo and Xiuxiu could earn tens of thousands in film compensation for participating in this film, she immediately agreed.

Zhou Yun patted Chen Zhuo’s head, ”Xiao Zhuo, any crew that hires you will definitely pay you. You don’t have to worry about tuition, including when Xiuxiu goes to school. Even if you don’t earn enough, Aunt Xiao Yun has your back.”

Chen Zhuo shook his head and said, ”Thank you, Aunt Xiao Yun, but Mom said we must be self-reliant.”

”I know. I just hope you understand one thing, Xiao Zhuo, study hard, and when you need help, I’ll always be here.” Zhou Yun patted Chen Zhuo’s head, ”Understand?”
