Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1516: Chapter 770: Aftereffects

Especially the part where water splashes on the cheeks.

Wen Bing shot it three times.

In the end, Wen Bing said he wanted that feeling of moisture and warmth.

Zhou Yun was baffled.

Can washing your face evoke moisture and warmth?

Until she saw Wen Bing’s satisfied shot.

Scared, it was quite a shock.

The camera captured her face, not even her neck was fully shown. In the shot, her skin was clearly visible, as she turned on the tap and washed her face, warm water was still steaming, looking cozy. When it splashed onto her face, the water droplets instantly moistened her skin, she appeared like a freshly peeled, boiled egg.

”...”

Very beautiful, and very moisturized.

With a face wash ad, it could be used directly as advertising.

After watching it, Zhou Yun roughly understood the kind of image Wen Bing wanted to capture.

This style.

It’s quite different from ”Life”.

”Life” is a poetic prose of memories, while this yet unnamed movie is a poem describing the everyday.

All morning, under Wen Bing’s direction, a group of people filmed Zhou Yun’s before and after waking up.

At eight, daylight finally brightened.

Wen Bing wanted to film Zhou Yun making breakfast.

Frying eggs, cooking noodles, and making scallion oil noodles.

This small task didn’t use firewood, but a gas stove.

The water was bubbling.

Zhou Yun prepared a bowl base, waited for the noodles to cook, took them out, mixed them evenly, and carried them to the dining room to sit down.

Started eating breakfast.

The whole process was her own thing.

Because Wen Bing hadn’t called stop, Zhou Yun continued acting by herself.

Until she finished the whole bowl of noodles and wiped her mouth.

Wen Bing finally called cut.

Zhou Yun looked up and saw Yi Zhe, who had been filming her.

Yi Zhe swallowed and stared at the empty noodle bowl with sparkling eyes.

Zhou Yun guessed he was hungry from his look.

She laughed immediately.

Wen Bing walked over from another room and said, ”This morning started off well, the shooting went smoothly.”

Zhou Yun looked up at Wen Bing, smiled, and said, ”Don’t call it smooth. Look at how hungry Yi Zhe is, his eyes are shining at my empty bowl. Have you not had breakfast yet? Go and eat something.”

Wen Bing responded, nodded, and called Old Wang.

Wang Zilin ran in, ”Director, any orders?”

”Let everyone hurry and have breakfast, take a break, it’s been hard work filming early in the morning.”

Wang Zilin nodded and said, ”That’s great.”

Luckily, there weren’t many crew members.

Wang Zilin had Xiuxiu’s mom take care of the crew’s meals these days, and Xiuxiu’s mom invited two friends from the same village to help.

They were ready early, waiting for Wang Zilin’s notification.

When they heard they could have breakfast, the three started cooking, frying eggs.

Within ten minutes, food for over twenty people was cooked.

Everyone had a bowl of noodles, a fried egg, and two big bowls of vegetables, two big bowls of stir-fried beef at each table, enough for all to eat well.

Xiuxiu’s mom called everyone to come eat at her house.

Five big round tables were set up in the hall, just enough for everyone.

Fortunately, rural houses aren’t as small as city ones, fitting all those tables.

Zhou Yun didn’t go to eat.

While everyone was having breakfast, she took a mop and cleaned around the house.

The floor was dirty from people coming and going.

There would be more shooting later.

Soon, Yu Zhiyang ran over.

He asked, ”Sister Xiao Yun, aren’t you eating?”

”I just ate, you go ahead,” Zhou Yun said.

Yu Zhiyang nodded and left.

When Wen Bing and the others returned after eating, they were surprised to find the house tidied again.

Even the stage manager was puzzled.

”Do I still need to rearrange things?”

Zhou Yun: ”I was just idling, so I cleaned up a bit.”

Yi Zhe gave a thumbs-up.

”You’ve got talent, no other celebrity in China is as down-to-earth as you.”

”Don’t flatter me like that, I can’t handle it.” Zhou Yun shook her head in refusal.

Yi Zhe: ”I admire you.”

Zhou Yun: ”Alright, I got it.”

Keep filming.

Following Wen Bing’s approach, there’s nothing else.

Just filming Zhou Yun wandering around the house.

Until the sun came out, switching to outside shots, filming Zhou Yun tending the vegetable garden.

The vegetable garden was specially arranged.

It already included Zhou Yun’s efforts over the past few days.

Zhou Yun considered the garden her own.

Zhou Yun picked a cabbage, grabbed two long, thick cucumbers, and then picked two eggplants.

That’s lunch.

All vegetarian.

There’s also meat.

Fresh pork.

Villagers curious about filming gathered to watch from afar.

The crew had to arrange manpower to ask them to leave.

Many shots had to capture long views, with people standing far away watching, it was distracting.

The shooting was unlike those depicted in dramas, no arguments nor jokes, just Zhou Yun moving around and machines filming.

Watching for a long time became uninteresting.

Zhou Yun washed the vegetables she had picked.

It’s time for cooking again.

Zhou Yun didn’t even look at the camera, acting as if it didn’t exist.

She sliced some meat, adding oil, salt, and cooking wine for marination, her skills practiced.

Learned in these days.

The morning was shot just like this.

It was Zhou Yun’s first time filming a whole morning without any lines, not a hint of acting.

She wasn’t used to it.

Took a while to find her state.

But Wen Bing seemed normal.

Zhou Yun didn’t know if this was what Wen Bing wanted, nor did she know what these shots would turn into.

She was puzzled, but trusted Wen Bing, saying nothing.

At noon, everyone sat together for lunch.

Zhou Yun had already eaten.

Another group watched her eat alone.

She went for a walk nearby and ran into Xiuxiu.

Xiuxiu crouched by a small river, seemingly in a daze.

Zhou Yun called out to her.

Xiuxiu stood up, looked back at her, smiling, and called, ”Aunt Xiao Yun.”

”What are you doing?” Zhou Yun asked.

Xiuxiu said, ”I want to see if there are any crabs.”

”Crabs?” Zhou Yun was a bit surprised, ”Are there crabs now?”

Xiuxiu shook her head, ”I don’t know either, I heard my brother, he said there are crabs in the river.”

Zhou Yun laughed.

She went downhill, arriving at the riverbank.

”Can you see them?” she asked doubtfully.

Xiuxiu shook her head.

”I haven’t found any.”

Zhou Yun suddenly remembered, ”Why aren’t you at school?”

Xiuxiu always ate lunch at school.

Xiuxiu said, ”Li Qimiao keeps pestering me to forgive her, but I don’t want to, so I came out at noon, I’ll return for afternoon classes.”

Zhou Yun didn’t expect it to be lingering consequences from that previous matter.
