Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1540: Chapter 781: Bottleneck (2)

After all, it’s a movie like ”Killing Song.” At this stage, she needs ”Killing Song” too much.

She can’t let someone else steal this movie from her.

...

In the afternoon, Wen Bing came out of the room and handed two sheets of paper to Zhou Yun.

The two sheets were filled with dense writing, but surprisingly, they were dialogues instead of monologues.

They were dialogues with Yu Zhiyang.

The most surprising thing for Zhou Yun was that in this long section of dialogue, she vaguely felt someone moving beside her as she napped, and when she opened her eyes, Yu Zhiyang was so close that their lips almost touched.

Zhou Yun was furious and called Yu Zhiyang a little rascal.

Yu Zhiyang was scolded like a grandson, and when Zhou Yun ran out of insults, he lowered his head and shyly said that he liked her.

So Zhou Yun scolded him again.

Looking at the dialogues, Zhou Yun thought, Wen Bing must have written them in a fit of frustration.

Zhou Yun hesitated for a moment and asked, ”Wen Bing, I’ve been calm and composed earlier in the play, but suddenly having such an emotionally intense scene, won’t it seem a bit abrupt?”

Wen Bing said, ”Maybe, but I want to film this part now. We can discuss it during the final editing later.”

Zhou Yun: ”...”

Okay.

Let’s shoot it then.

Zhou Yun and Yu Zhiyang took their positions.

They both had to memorize their lines on the spot.

Yu Zhiyang was slightly better off; Zhou Yun’s lines were lengthy and hysterical.

Zhou Yun had such a headache memorizing her lines.

Fortunately, Wen Bing didn’t plan to shoot any long takes, and this major scene didn’t need to be performed from start to finish in one go.

Acting out this scene with Yu Zhiyang, Zhou Yun felt strange inside.

It might be psychological.

Zhou Yun said she didn’t mind, but ultimately, she still worried about unpleasant rumors between her and Yu Zhiyang.

The more unfounded and dubious, the more likely people are to believe it; you can’t stop others from gossiping.

However, on the other hand, she was also looking forward to it.

Wen Bing is so skilled at capturing these interactive moments between people.

Zhou Yun looked forward to seeing what Wen Bing would capture about her.

That’s the interesting part about acting.

Before truly entering the character state and starting the performance, she also didn’t know what kind of performance she would deliver.

...

While preparing, Zhou Yun sat in a corner talking to Yu Zhiyang.

Zhou Yun asked him, ”Do you have a girl you like?”

Yu Zhiyang hesitated and mumbled an ’uh-huh.’

Zhou Yun looked at him in surprise and asked, ”Who?”

Yu Zhiyang scratched his temple and said, ”You don’t know her.”

Zhou Yun’s eyes lit up with gossip.

”Have you told the girl that you like her?”

”No,” Yu Zhiyang said, ”I feel we’re not very suitable.”

”Why not? In matters of love, suitability doesn’t matter. If you like her, confess. If you don’t confess, everything is false.”

”It’s okay.”

”Huh? It’s okay?”

Yu Zhiyang said, ”I never thought I could be with her.”

”Why?”

”Because...” Yu Zhiyang scratched his temple again and then said, ”Sister Xiao Yun, can I not say?”

Though usually Yu Zhiyang didn’t talk much, he would answer whatever Zhou Yun asked.

Zhou Yun looked at him in surprise, but nodded, ”Alright.”

But when they officially started shooting the scene, they ran into a problem right away.

Wen Bing felt Yu Zhiyang’s state was off; his acting wasn’t right.

”It’s not like this, the expression is wrong.”

Wen Bing walked over to Yu Zhiyang and said, ”At this moment, Zhou Yun is already asleep in bed. Your feelings, your desire for her shouldn’t be held back like usual. There should be a kind of gradually exposed honesty. Do you understand what I mean?”

Yu Zhiyang mumbled an ’uh-huh’ and tried again.

Wen Bing was still unsatisfied.

After shooting eight takes consecutively, Wen Bing started to lose his temper.

”Yu Zhiyang, what’s going on? Why haven’t you fully immersed yourself?”

Wen Bing rarely gets angry on set.

His sudden anger left the staff bewildered, watching them cluelessly.

Yu Zhiyang’s cheeks turned red.

He felt embarrassed and blushed.

Yu Zhiyang apologized.

Zhou Yun sat up from the bed and looked at them in confusion.

Wen Bing also came to his senses at this point.

He said, ”Think it over yourself. Take ten minutes’ break, and we’ll shoot again later.”
