Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1544: Chapter 782: Gu Huaichun Arrives_2

Gu Huaichun naturally wanted to work with Wen Bing.

He originally wanted to make a movie, and preferably with Wen Bing.

He’s seen both ”Life” and ”Two Tigers.”

He really likes them.

Of course, Gu Huaichun knows why this movie came looking for him.

Surely it was recommended by Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun knows what he thinks.

The slight pity is that this movie, besides Zhou Yun, doesn’t have a proper male lead.

Otherwise, Gu Huaichun would definitely take the initiative to fight for a role.

Tonight, he still needs to go record an indoor studio show.

It’s a dating observation show.

He’s there as a guest, only needing to film for eight hours, easily earning a million in the process.

This is the kind of work Yuehai wants him to take.

It’s not tiring, makes a lot of money, and takes little time.

Gu Huaichun recorded this show until the early morning.

His flight is at eight o’clock tomorrow morning, meaning he needs to get up at six to head to the airport.

Gu Huaichun can only sleep for five hours.

Despite this, Gu Huaichun was happy and even excited.

Getting up early wasn’t as painful anymore.

Early in the morning, Gu Huaichun messaged Zhou Yun: I’m heading to the airport.

Zhou Yun replied instantly: We’ve already started filming.

Gu Huaichun was shocked, asked: Filming started so early?

Zhou Yun: How should I put it, when I open my eyes each morning, they’re already setting up the equipment in the room. The filming of this movie is probably different from what you usually do, I’m quite baffled myself.

Gu Huaichun said in surprise: Impressive.

Zhou Yun: You’ll know when you get here, you might have to come up with your own lines.

Gu Huaichun: Make up my own lines?

Zhou Yun said: He wrote some dialogue, but he prefers we use it as a base to say what we truly want to say.

Gu Huaichun: I don’t quite get it.

Zhou Yun: It’s okay, you don’t need to get it, you’ll understand when you arrive.

Gu Huaichun was puzzled.

Zhou Yun’s description made him feel very strange, even somewhat incredulous.

Gu Huaichun suddenly felt nervous.

The airport in the morning was equally crowded.

There were fans who came after hearing the news.

About twenty people, all waiting for him.

The moment he appeared, they screamed, each holding up phones to take photos.

Some even held both a phone and a camera.

Wearing a mask and sunglasses, Gu Huaichun originally didn’t plan to greet them.

He didn’t particularly like having groups of fans see him off or welcome him at the airport, and he has mentioned many times hoping fans wouldn’t do this, but still, some don’t listen.

Yet, he always felt it wasn’t easy for them to wait here for so long, not greeting seemed inconsiderate.

After hesitating, Gu Huaichun nodded at them.

Just this nod caused another wave of screams among them.

”Huaichun, what are you off to do today?”

Gu Huaichun replied: ”Filming.”

”Huh? Did you take a role?” The fans were surprised.

They knew almost everything about him, and they hadn’t heard he took a new film, not a word.

Gu Huaichun said: ”Yes, it’s confidential.”

After saying that, Gu Huaichun regretted it.

Every time he films, many people capture behind-the-scenes shots.

This can negatively impact a movie that’s in production.

Sometimes it even disrupts the crew’s normal filming.

Gu Huaichun didn’t want the news to spread, because then fans might track him down wherever he’s filming.

He hoped this wouldn’t happen.

Once on the plane, Gu Huaichun put on an eye mask and continued to sleep.

After landing, he got into a car, and after driving around for a long time, about three hours, the car finally stopped.

Gu Huaichun opened his eyes half-dazed, waking up, he saw a vast golden rice field.

He was astonished by the scene of mountains and fields before him.

Because Gu Huaichun had never seen such a sight in person before.

...

The last time Zhou Yun and Gu Huaichun acted together was three years ago.

To be precise, it’s been almost four years.

The series ”Eighth Heartbeat” was so poorly made, but coincidentally she, Gu Huaichun, Yin Zhou, and Xu Siyao all knew how to act, and enjoyed delving into their roles. So despite the dramatic plot, the actors’ performances were highly praised.
