Chapter 1510: Chapter 678: Accident (9300 Words!)_6

But the sound insulation quality of the hotel room door was not very good. Standing at the door, she could hear Zheng Xiaojue speaking without even having to press against it.

She didn’t knock at first, listened for a while, then smiled and quietly walked away.

Zheng Xiaojue has been under a lot of pressure lately, so let her chat with Liu Yun.

Some things are inconvenient for Zheng Xiaojue to say to her, but she can talk with Liu Yun.

She went downstairs, but suddenly encountered Wang Zilin rushing down from upstairs.

”Sister Zilin, what’s wrong? Why are you in such a hurry?”

Wang Zilin hurriedly said, ”Yi Zhe just called me and said that Yu Zhiyang fell into the water.”

”What?”

Zhou Yun’s heart instantly tightened.

The two drove anxiously to the edge of the fishpond in front of Xiuxiu’s house, got out of the car, and saw Yu Zhiyang sitting bare-chested by the pond, wiping his head with a towel.

”How are you, are you okay?” Wang Zilin ran over, concerned, and checked Yu Zhiyang.

Yu Zhiyang was stunned to see Wang Zilin and Zhou Yun running over, and after a while said, ”Oh, I’m fine.”

”How did you suddenly fall into the water? Didn’t walk steadily?”

”Oh, Little Yu acted as a hero!” Yi Zhe walked over, ”Xiuxiu accidentally fell into the water just now, and Little Yu happened to run into it. Without a word, he just went in to rescue her.”

Upon hearing this, Zhou Yun asked, ”Where’s Xiuxiu? Is she okay?”

”Coughed up a couple of gulps, but she’s fine, her mom already took her back.” Yi Zhe ruffled Yu Zhiyang’s head, ”Good job.”

Yu Zhiyang’s face still showed no expression.

Only then did Zhou Yun breathe a sigh of relief.

On the way here, her heart had almost jumped out.

Afraid that something happened to Yu Zhiyang.

She sat down next to Yu Zhiyang and said, ”When I heard the news with your Sister Zilin, we almost died of fright.”

Yu Zhiyang scratched his head and said, ”I’m good at swimming.”

Zhou Yun: ”Even if you’re good, it’s still worrisome.”

”Xiuxiu can’t swim.” Yu Zhiyang said again, ”She told me, so I went to rescue her.”

Zhou Yun looked at Yu Zhiyang doubtfully and hesitated before realizing what Yu Zhiyang meant by that.

Was he explaining?

Did he think she was blaming him?

Zhou Yun said, ”Hmm, your actions were commendable.”

Yu Zhiyang had gotten a bit darker from the sun these past two days.

He glanced at Zhou Yun and saw that she didn’t seem to be angry, so he quietly sighed in relief.

He was afraid Zhou Yun would blame him for being impulsive.

Zhou Yun said, ”However, next time you encounter such a situation, you need to think it through yourself. Don’t save others while putting yourself in danger. This is just a small fishpond, there was an empty bamboo pole nearby, you could have handed the empty bamboo pole to Xiuxiu, let her grab it, and pull her up.”

Yu Zhiyang responded with an ”um”, paused for a while before saying, ”The situation was quite urgent at the time, I couldn’t pay attention to so much, nor did I think it through.”

”I understand, I’m telling you so that if you encounter such a situation again, try to avoid putting yourself in danger,” Zhou Yun said. ”Today Xiuxiu is a child, her strength isn’t as great as yours, but some people, when nearing danger, grasp you with all their might and won’t let go. Not only do you not save them, you get dragged down.”

Yu Zhiyang nodded again, responding with an ”um”.

The two talked for a while.

Wang Zilin had already fetched a blanket from the car and draped it over Yu Zhiyang.

”It’s already November, aren’t you afraid of catching cold sitting here half-naked for so long?”

Yu Zhiyang hesitantly said, ”Not cold.”

Wang Zilin tut-tutted, shaking her head, said, ”Young people really have blazing energy.”

Zhou Yun laughed.

In the evening, Zhou Yun cooked, making a big pot of fresh fish soup, inviting Wang Zilin, Yi Zhe, Yu Zhiyang, and Xiuxiu’s family to eat.

Xiuxiu’s mom was particularly emotional in thanking Yu Zhiyang, repeating it many times, tears even came out.

It was fear.

If Yu Zhiyang hadn’t happened to pass by at that moment, Xiuxiu could have really drowned.

Zhou Yun felt a shared fear in her heart.

Xiuxiu is still such a small child.

She seemed frightened herself, her face pale, eyes not as lively as usual.

Zhou Yun covered Xiuxiu’s face and asked, ”Is your body feeling uncomfortable?”

Xiuxiu shook her head, saying, ”No.”

Looking obedient.

Zhou Yun felt a surge of affection watching her.
