Chapter 1509: Chapter 678: Unexpected (9,300 Words!)_5

You paint a bigger picture than he does.

Winning awards, it’s not that easy to win awards.

If it were that easy, would Zhou Yun have her status today?

It’s precisely because it’s not easy that you’re so special, right?

Zhou Yun didn’t care what Liu Ziyang was thinking about.

She also didn’t care what Liu Ziyang was thinking about.

She just said what she wanted to say and did what she wanted to do.

...

After seeing Liu Ziyang off, Zheng Xiaojue stayed behind.

”I’m going to stay here for the night,” Zheng Xiaojue said, ”It’s been a long time since I saw Sister Xiao Yun.”

Liu Yun nodded and said, ”Sister Xiao Yun sleeps at someone else’s house at night, you’ll have to go with me to stay at a hotel in town.”

”Alright,” Zheng Xiaojue smiled and asked, ”Now that you’re alone around Sister Xiao Yun, do you talk more?”

Liu Yun gave Zheng Xiaojue a push and said, ”What are you talking about?”

Zheng Xiaojue: ”Is it hard work?”

Liu Yun shook her head and said, ”It’s alright; you know Sister Xiao Yun doesn’t have much going on usually. Basically, I just help her keep an eye on her personal things.”

”No one’s causing trouble?”

”No,” Liu Yun shook her head.

Zheng Xiaojue propped her chin with one hand and said, ”I really miss the days of being an assistant to Sister Xiao Yun. You have no idea how many troubles I have to solve every day now, how much I have to do.”

Liu Yun said, ”That’s a good thing, you’ve moved up a level.”

”What about you? Do you want to move up a level?” Zheng Xiaojue turned her head and asked.

Liu Yun hesitated for a moment, then shook her head and said, ”It’s not for me.”

”Why not?”

”I’m a more introverted person; I don’t dare to speak up to people,” Liu Yun said, ”You’re different from me.”

Zheng Xiaojue was indeed not someone who got stage fright, she could be confident anywhere she went.

Liu Yun was not quite the same as her.

Zheng Xiaojue said, ”These are things you can train out of; you can’t be Sister Xiao Yun’s assistant forever.”

”Why not?” Liu Yun’s voice was still soft, ”I’m quite willing to.”

”Even if you’re willing, Sister Xiao Yun might not be, but maybe, I think Sister Xiao Yun definitely won’t want you to be an assistant forever. She always hopes the people around her can make progress and improve.”

Liu Yun let out a soft sigh.

Liu Yun truly didn’t want any changes in her current life.

She was very satisfied with her current state of life.

Suddenly, Zheng Xiaojue thought of something and asked, ”Xiaoyun, how’s Sister Xiao Yun’s mood these days?”

”Pretty good.”

”Really? That’s good. She was so down before, I didn’t know what to do. It’s good she’s feeling better now.” Zheng Xiaojue breathed a sigh of relief.

”She just needed a change of environment and to take a break to feel better,” Liu Yun said, ”Before, Sister Xiao Yun was always running around different places, never staying quietly in one place. This time, she’s here filming, doing her own things each day in this place, and I see her becoming more and more at peace internally.”

Zheng Xiaojue: ”I’ve heard many stories recently, many actors thrown too deeply into their roles have gotten depression. I was just afraid Sister Xiao Yun might get it too; when her mood was bad recently, it scared me.”

”I don’t think Sister Xiao Yun would; she’s very good at adjusting herself.”

”People like that, when they do come down with something like that, it’s even harder to notice. You have to pay extra attention,” Zheng Xiaojue advised Liu Yun.

”Hmm.”

Liu Yun carefully studied Zheng Xiaojue and said, ”You’ve really changed a lot now.”

”Really?”

”Yes, especially confident,” Liu Yun said, ”You’re an agent for Huang Zicheng and Lu Zhongting; how are they doing?”

”One is very lively, the other is a bit more reserved, but they’re both great people. It’s just that as a rookie agent, my ability is limited, and I can’t help them become popular quickly.”

”Don’t rush, take it slow,” Liu Yun said, ”I believe in you; you can do it.”

Zheng Xiaojue murmured something, then sighed and said, ”I don’t know if I can. Honestly, I’ve been doubting myself lately. I’ve done so many things, made efforts, thought of all the ways I can, but I just can’t seem to make it, which is discouraging.”

Liu Yun said, ”It’s like that for new people just starting out.”

...

At the door, Zhou Yun was initially planning to knock, thinking of taking Zheng Xiaojue and Liu Yun out for tea.
