The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 98: Chapter 98 Killing You is More Than Enough!_1

Hugo Combs arranged this?

Because I took the woman he loved, he had people waiting for me after the class reunion to teach me a lesson on the street, preferably cripple me so Samantha Tate would disdain me and leave me?

Carson Flores didn’t hurry; instead, he took out a cigarette and leisurely lit it.

He had wanted to smoke in the car, but considering the woman didn’t like the smell of smoke in her car, he had refrained.

He took a deep drag, exhaled a wisp of smoke, and said with a smile, ”Are you coming for me?”

The leading man sneered, ”You’re quite self-aware.”

Carson asked, ”Did Hugo Combs hire you?”

The leading man was startled for a moment, then chuckled, ”It seems you have quite a few enemies. But it doesn’t matter who you think it is, the end result will be the same.”

Carson raised his eyebrows; this reaction...was it not Hugo Combs?

Upon further thought, it actually seemed improbable, after all, there was no direct conflict between him and Hugo Combs. He surely couldn’t have someone disabled just because the woman he liked had a boyfriend, could he?

The result will be the same?

Is this an attempt to kill me?

When a person is dead, it doesn’t matter who his enemies were anymore.

Carson took another puff of his cigarette and said with a smile, ”So, you’re planning to kill me, huh? It looks like I have really offended someone severely. The four of you look quite formidable; the person who can employ you must be of significant power, and the only one who fits that bill is... Are you Brian James’s men?”

The leader’s expression showed surprise; he hadn’t expected Carson to guess incorrectly at first and then immediately guess correctly the next moment.

”My name is A-Long, remember me when you’re down there, so you don’t die as a wronged spirit!”

Carson flicked the cigarette butt under his feet, snuffed it out with his foot, and muttered softly, ”Isn’t living well enough? Why do you always want to take others’ lives?”

A-Long didn’t catch what was said and sneered, ”What are you muttering about?”

Carson looked up, smiled at A-Long, and said, ”Nothing much, just wanted to wish you a good journey.”

A-Long’s face changed, and he stepped towards Carson, scoffing, ”You think you’re invincible just because you beat a few of Black Bamboo Corporation’s insignificant thugs?”

Carson chuckled, ”Invincible? Far from it, but...”

Before Carson could finish his sentence, A-Long had already approached him, suddenly sprinting forward with explosive force, transforming into an arrow as he instantly closed the gap and threw a punch directly at Carson’s heart.

Carson didn’t dodge, merely raising his arm to guard the position over his heart.

A-Long’s fist slammed into Carson’s arm.

A malevolent smirk appeared on A-Long’s face, confident that his punching power could break Carson’s arm with one blow.

He wasn’t in a hurry to kill Carson; he enjoyed watching his prey wail in despair before him, slowly being tortured to death by his hand.

”Bang!”

In the muffled sound, Carson threw a punch too.

Before A-Long could react, Carson’s finger jabbed like a sculptor’s chisel, striking precisely at A-Long’s Adam’s apple.

Crack.

In a gentle crunch, A-Long’s throat was shattered.

Carson pulled back his fist and exhaled the unfinished second half of his sentence, ”But it’s enough to kill you.”

A-Long staggered backward two steps, his throat making crunching sounds, he clutched his neck, his eyes filled with fear and despair.

It was too fast!

Carson’s punch was like a gust of wind, a bolt of lightning, instantly fatal.

What kind of strength was this?

A-Long, clutching his throat, knelt down as if worshiping Carson.

”A-Long!”

The other three who had been ready to enjoy the show opened their eyes wide in alarm, shouting out in shock and disbelief.

A-Long was a master of ’Transformed Strength’; although he had not reached the pinnacle to harness Inner Qi, he could already kill a wild ox with a single punch, his body as tough as iron. Yet, he had been instantly killed by Carson!

”Attack together!”

”Avenge A-Long!”

All three were skilled killers, and they immediately saw that A-Long’s throat was completely crushed beyond saving. Without a second glance at him, they charged at Carson.

Carson’s movements were like a shadow as he rushed to meet the three men.

He threw a punch that collided with A-Elephant’s.

”Crack!”

Bones in the fingers and arm broke.

Taking a hit from A-Tiger’s leg, he retaliated with an elbow strike that landed directly on his neck.

A-Tiger’s neck broke.

A-Leopard swiftly pulled out a dagger, stabbing like a whirlwind towards Carson’s ribs. Carson stepped to the side, dodged the thrust, and with a swift kick, he sent A-Tiger, who was falling, flying back up in the air, crashing directly into A-Leopard.

A-Leopard, holding the dagger, had no chance to strike and had to catch A-Tiger first; by the time he managed to toss A-Tiger aside, Carson was already in front of him.

In desperation, A-Leopard stabbed at Carson’s throat, but Carson grabbed his wrist, twisted it, then slammed his elbow downward, hitting right on A-Leopard’s reversed wrist joint.

”Ah!”

A-Leopard screamed as his arm bent and twisted out of shape.

The dagger fell into Carson’s hands, and he threw it back, the blade flashing through the darkness like lightning and embedding itself into A-Elephant’s throat.

A-Elephant swayed and pulled out the dagger, blood spurting out in torrents, and his body collapsed to the ground.

Carson kicked A-Leopard to the ground and stepped on his chest, bending down to look into his eyes.

”Did Brian James send you?”
