The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 96: Chapter 96: Really Smooth Play, Winning Big!_1

Samantha Tate felt a tingling in her teeth, Carson Flores was doing this on purpose!

He was still a bit resentful about being dragged in to take the hit, so he was slipping in some personal jabs, trying to make her lose face.

Trying to make me feel embarrassed?

As long as I’m not embarrassed, it’s someone else who will be!

Far from feeling awkward about her goddess image collapsing, Samantha Tate smiled sweetly and said, ”Actually, I was the one who chased after him. If I hadn’t been persistent, he would have never agreed.”

Persistent?

School beauty, where’s the proud demeanor of the goddess from before?

Fletcher Reid laughed heartily, ”Looks like Carson Flores has incredible charm. Otherwise, how could he have our school beauty falling head over heels for him?”

Samantha Tate looked at Carson Flores with a deep and affectionate gaze, ”Brother saved me twice. If it hadn’t been for him, you guys might have already attended my memorial service.”

Everyone was greatly surprised, and some curious girls asked, ”What happened? Tell us about it.”

Samantha Tate smiled and said, ”The first time was the day I met brother. I was crossing the street while on the phone, not noticing a speeding truck. He pulled me back; otherwise, I would have been hit. The second time, we were camping, and at midnight we were attacked by a pack of wolves. It was brother who single-handedly killed the Wolf King and fought off the wolves, saving everyone’s lives.”

Everyone was astounded.

This guy is a real tough one!

Fletcher Reid widened his eyes, ”Carson Flores, you’re so incredible. Have you trained in martial arts?”

Carson Flores humbly smiled, ”Served a few years in the army, trained for a few years.”

Fletcher Reid exclaimed, ”No wonder, that’s seriously hardcore. No wonder you’ve got our beauty enthralled. This is like the classic hero saves the beauty, and the beauty pledges herself to him in return.”

Some girls enviously said, ”So romantic, just like in the TV shows.”

Carson Flores glanced at Samantha Tate, impressive, she managed to spin it around.

Taking advantage of the chatter, Samantha Tate smiled slyly at Carson Flores.

Trying to lower my status?

Harm me?

In your dreams!

Hugo Combs, listening to everyone’s praise of Carson Flores, felt increasingly uncomfortable and cast a doubtful remark, ”Wild wolves are very fierce. Even tigers are wary of a pack. How could one person possibly stand against them?”

Hugo Combs’ remarks made sense, prompting doubt among many, thinking Samantha Tate was boasting.

But Samantha Tate was well-prepared and smiled, ”I have a video of it. Would you guys like to see?”

A real battle with a pack of wolves—who wouldn’t want to watch that?

The crowd eagerly clamored, and Samantha Tate pulled out her phone, opened a video, turned up the volume, and angled the screen toward everyone.

Carson Flores was quite surprised, a video?

How come he didn’t know about it?

Carson Flores also focused on the screen, wanting to see what was recorded.

The camera was shaky at first, focusing on a couple of wild wolves charging the crowd, who were defending themselves with BBQ tools and chairs, preventing the wolves from getting close. The atmosphere was filled with panicked shouts and cries of terror.

The camera steadied a bit, then zoomed out to show Carson Flores surrounded by wolves. With a barbecue fork in each hand, he fought off the wolves efficiently, until a wolf jumped on his shoulder and bit down.

The crowd watching the video gasped in shock. Even knowing that Carson Flores and Samantha Tate were standing unharmed before them, they were instinctively tense, their hearts racing.

Then the video showed Carson Flores yanking the wolf off and using it as a weapon, fighting fiercely, bare-chested, and roaring at the pack of wolves, intimidating them.

Everyone was shocked by the scene.

So domineering!

So MANLY!

Carson Flores then charged into the darkness to defeat the Wolf King. The remaining wolves fled in panic, and Carson emerged from the dark forest dragging the Wolf King.

The video ended, with the final scene frozen on Carson Flores walking out of the woods, illuminated by the lights—half of him in darkness, half in light, drenched in blood. His stride and demeanor were like a king returning from the shadow of night.

All eyes fell on Carson Flores, filled with admiration.

Such a man is too charismatic!

In that moment, it was as if he glowed, his explosive physique filled with lethal allure!

No wonder Samantha Tate was so relentless in chasing him. What woman wouldn’t love such a man?

A sense of security that’s off the charts, right?

The female classmates looked at Samantha Tate, their eyes filled with undisguised envy.

Carson Flores said with a smile, ”They really had some free time, recording videos during a life or death situation.”

Samantha Tate smiled, ”Ruby Gross recorded it. She and I were wrapped in the crowd and couldn’t help, so she started recording on her phone. She thought if we were to be injured, at least there would be a record of what happened. Who knew it would capture your moment of glory.”

Curious, Carson Flores asked, ”I’ve never heard you mention this before.”

Samantha Tate giggled, ”She was worried you’d make her delete it, so she didn’t say anything. I saw her recording, so I asked her to send me a copy. Don’t worry, it’s our private collection, we won’t post it online. These are all old classmates, they’re our own people. It’s just to show them the truth, so they won’t think I was just bragging for you.”

Carson Flores’ gaze swept across the crowd, their eyes shining with excitement, and the corner of his mouth curled slightly.

Samantha Tate played that move very slickly!

She won the game!
